I got this from JODERME in the s4 forum. it is an xposed framework mod apk that bypasses the root check for isis so you can use it with root. Once you have it, just install this apk, open xposed, go to modules and check isis bypass module. reboot and launch isis as normal.
Btw, you need a SIM card from Verizon that has nfc on board in order for Isis to work
you can get xposed framework here: HERE
I had to zip the files so downloading works, it is not an installable zip, just extract the apk's and then follow the instructions. there is a version of xposed in there but it is an older one.
Here is my version 2
GO HERE
Version 3
I added a link to the dec 20 isis with a new xposed module called root cloak that allows you to pick what apps to hide root from. It works great too. Go to realicontheme.com then note 3 then mods
the root bypass works fine, I just used it.

Question, how long does it take before you get a txt that Isis is ready to be used?
EDIT: Never mind about 5 minutes I just got it! lol

so far i have used it everywhere i have used google wallet without issue.
How do I get Isis installed on my Note 3? It is a factory Verizon phone without root. I do not see it in the Play Store to download. If I go to the website and try to download it, it says my phone isn't compatible. Any ideas? I want to get it working before I root it. Thanks!
It was in the play store for me. Getting it set up before root doesn't matter since rooting breaks it anyway and requires more set up

I did this, set up my isis account, and got to the point where it says "Isis must set up your phone's secure element before you can use your Isis wallet. We will notify you by text message when this is complete"
I did this before, non-rooted, and it finished in less than a minute. What's up, been like that since yesterday.
Also, unless I'm totally blind, I didn't see the option to log-in to Isis with an existing account, using the account I made when not rooted. I tried putting my gmail and password in the new account field, and it says "username exists" or something along that lines, and it won't let me have the option to log in with my existing account? I had to use my other gmail account to set it up again, which as you know above, also isn't working

I'm assuming you switched sim cards? If so it will not give you the option to log in. Only to create. You can call isis support and have them delete your account so that you can reset it up.

bingo, you figured it out! I had to dispose my NFC sim because of unlimited... have 2 extras that are good tho
Yep. The SIM is still good. Call isis when they reset it it's done by mtn, and they will wipe and reset the secure element ota when they delete the account. The you will be able to reset up the account and be golden.
Changing sim will make no difference because the account is still tied to the mtn.
Carrier tech support was able to give me isis number. Are you Verizon?

Does this work on other phones besides the s4? I have a Razr HD
Patch stopped working after tonight's ISIS Wallet update. Looks like they're using a different way to check for root now.
Does anyone still have an earlier version?

Alright so i been going nuts trying to figure out why when i sign in a new device it gets full access to all my google account information. I have a few android phone in the the house all using different google address so its fine. But recently purchased a new tablet and both me and my brother signed in which is fine. Installed all the apps that were purchased from the Play Store and this is were the problem is.
When you sign in once the tablet now has access to everything related to that google account and no verification is asked or prompts to login. I don't want my brother reading my emails and he is the same it makes no sense why you enter it once and the device has access to everything. I would like to control what features of my google account a device has access too.
I just want to be able to install purchased apps on the tablet and nothing more, is this possible?
Hahahah. Jebise. Haha. Bravo on the nik.
AFAIK, no is the answer to ur question. Google is said to be working on multiple user accounts. Maybe an app is out on play store that locks ur email app but i havent heard of it.
PS. Pusti brata neka cita email naucice nesto novo. Heheh.

Thanks, it was unintentional way back when i was thinking of an internet alias. It was suppose to be Jebus (Homer say this in one of the episodes) but young foolish me decided to spell it Jebise and it just kinda got stuck and like you once in a while i get these messages. I know what it means now but anyways back to OP.
That is really dump. This is why we never shared accounts, I don't want to purchase the same apps again. I guess Apple has it right with the AppStore because it prompts for a password to install apps and there is no link to email.

Look in settings in the app store I think there is a setting where it will ask you if u want to ask for password before installing any apps. My phone is off so i cant confirm but I believe i did see it almost 100 %.

It's for a PIN but that still does not solve the issue for gmail. I guess we can just uninstall the app.

yeah but if you go into the app, you can still manually see emails and such even if sync is disabled. it seems I have to remove my account or use TB which is a pain with multiple devices and that not even including updates.
After some thinking I think I will just have to create a new google account just for purchasing apps and nothing else. Sad google has no real control on this.

not if new apps are purchased or updates.
I think the far easier option is to create a generic email with just a CC used to purchase apps.

Doubtful.. Besides, why would you want to bypass security on an exchange server? Your IT department needs to configure permissions for your login to have corporate email.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117452
If you're wanting to prevent having to enter a PIN on your lockscreen, touchdown localizes the enterprise security parameters to the app itself, and allows your exchange to, kind of, be partitioned from the rest of your phone - security wise. So, basically you enter the PIN when you enter the app.

I recently started using Google's 2-step Authentication app. Well I went and flashed a new ROM via standard protocol of data/cache/dalvik wipe, flashed gapps, went to log in to the play store and guess what... it asks me for an authentication code just like its supposed to. One problem... the app isn't installed on my phone any more. Fortunately this doesn't mean you or I are SOL.
1) You should ALWAYS make an nandroid backup before flashing. This way if you **** something up you can always flash back to a config that worked.
2) When you turned on Google Authenticator in the first place, it should have given you a list of 10 emergency back up verification codes. You should have followed the instructions to write them down or save them someplace safe for facepalm moments like these. Now would be a really good time to use one of them, but you only get 10 so you don't want to burn through one every time you flash a new ROM.
3) You can have your apps backed up to your SD card but you'll need a file manager to do so and the Play Store will be of no use at this point. However, you can get online and search for a downloadable .apk of one. However, if you're going that route, might as well google for a downloadable version of the Authenticator .apk (like here).
4) Probably the easiest hassle free option is to go into your Google settings on a PC that has already been authenticated, look under Security, and turn OFF 2-step verification; there is an option to save your settings to turn them back on later. Then proceed with flashing to you're hearts content after reading #1.
Um, you can just go on-line to your Google account and get a new set of "10 codes to print" whenever you want to - so you don't have to worry about being careful with them or anything. The only catch is that only the most recently requested 10 work - so... just use 10 then request 10 more there is no limit.
Interesting, I'm definitely considering using it.

Authenticators and phones are not a good mix. For this reason, I use the texting option. Unrecognized computer attempting to login - authentication code sent to my phone.

For me, I list my google voice number as the phone number for 2-step verification. Then, I can just click the "don't have your phone" option, choose to send a code to my google voice number, and then access the code via the google voice website. No more worries about getting stuck at the 2-step verification page.
Only issue doing that for me is I often flash my phone during my commute (you mass transit) so don't often have access to a verified pc. But could forward the GV text to my phone and get the code that way as well

so i got an email from google today saying that someone tried to log in to my account from china. Obviously it couldnt be me, so i reported it and immediately changed my password and enabled two step verification. But still, i would rather stay on the safe side and use a completely new account. Normally i would do just that without a seconds though, but i have paid for apps with this account. so i was wondering if it would be possible to transfer those apps to a new account.

You need to email each developer for the paid apps. They will have you verify some things and get you the app on your new account.

Not sure if it's a carrier thing or because I tried to set it up with Google voice but it only dials into voicemail and none are ever shown on the tab, even though I have a notification for vm
It's been so long since I've had Sprint. Did they move people from their old Sprint VVM app to GV? I've been using GV in place of it on whatever GSM carrier ever since I switched from the Sprint Hero. Works fine on my Pixel XL.

Best option for you guys is set up the Google voice app and enable the option to integrate with the dialer. Hope that works.

I couldn't get gv to work. When people called me they heard silence instead of my voicemail. Tried redoing the whole setup, no joy. Super weird. I didn't do the integration with Sprint though, because people sometimes use my gv number
Sprint changed the dialer codes for forwarding messages. I think it is now *73. Google never updated the app.

I did try this, you don't flash it from what I can tell, you simply copy it over. I don't have root so I simply installed it and it does launch, however, it can't register itself and can't update itself. Sorry for rezing an old topic but this is the only thread I've found where it isn't just straight *****ing about the issue instead of trying to fix it.
To get visual voicemail, it has to be through the carrier. Telus finally got it up here in Canada and I have been using it since launch
Use this

Thanks for the updated app, but the account verification still doesn't work, it fails. Maybe we need the "my Sprint" app as well?
