Hello, i don't have such directory. My files are in the "0" named directory (it was created by default). But i can't see the original sdcard location - how to solve this??! I am on paranoid android 4.3. I've copied almost all that i need to the "0"directory, but i want to wipe out the rest once i am in paranoid android 4.3, but i can't see the directory - any solution to that?
Also, couldn't find any other threads about this, could you point me to some as you are mentioning that this has been discussed a lot previously?

I've been trying to get the cwm file, but the original thread downloads something else entirely. the zip file is named correctly, but there is nothing but a "recovery.bin" file name and in the file type description in says "VLC media..."
I'm not the only one with this problem. Could someone please follow up on this? Thanks

Just put it in Odin/flash in CWM depending on which you picked. If you Odin, I think you have to put the recovery.bin in the Phone slot, or you can just put the tar in either slot.

You cant let it boot. Booting reinstalls the android recovery. Maybe, have battery out, then try booting with the 5 finger combo, or uncheck reboot in odin.

The CWM files are in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357655
.md5 files are not the archive, but the signature to verify your download.
Here are instructions to properly root your phone by flashing clockwork mod via download mode:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sa...te_Guide#Installing_the_ClockworkMod_Recovery
Then you will want to boot into recovery and install whatever ROM you want from the SD Card using the recovery mode.

Odin tars are .tar.md5 or .tar. its not a signature check, but if flashing that doesn't work, delete .md5.

It should be the recovery.fstab
need to modify the paths there.
use the mount command to see what the mount points are.
I have Deodexed the apps and framework, but after pushing them to the phone, I get boot loop.
I used the latest Rom kitchen.
The main problem is the recovery image doesn't match, so a new one needs to be created that is approriate. I believe the mounted blocks are correct, but the system block is not the same or something like that.

Hello, guys, I have recently installed Hawkish 4.3 rom in wich you must re-root the phone after install. I had a little trouble rooting - su binaries couldnt install, but its done now, or it just says it is. The problem is, my system is not mounted and I cant use the multiwindow app manager or apps to delete system apps. Here's what Window app manager and SystemAppRemover says in the screenshot. Hmm, no, I can't find odin flashable. I tried 4.1.2 with Superuser root and it worked, then I went back to 4.3 and I lost system mount again. When I flash the zip file for the root the final in the log is "unmounting system" and something else... When I try to manually mount it, it says that my root may have been lost or it doesn't do anything, it goes back to unmounted. Can you tell me where can I get the odin flashable and if it's possible to do it via Odin mobile?

Just like the title says, I had 2.5.0.0 TWRP and just upgraded to 2.6.3.0 today. Both versions did the same thing, I have existing .zip files that show up but if I put any new .zip file anywhere on the sdcard partition even on the root it will not show up in TWRP. However, it shows up in three different file managers. I know the files are there but TWRP is not showing them.
Any light that could be shed would be great, Thanks guys.

hello everyone, i recently bought a new htc one m8 .
Locked to Wind.
Now i rooted the phone, enabled s-off and unlocked it.
2 days later i downloaded titanium and accidentally deleted something i dont know what,
the phone worked properly still except i couldnt access settings, every time i clicked settings it would back me out. So me being the noob I am restored the phone, and that didnt work. So now I have a HTC One that cant go into settings.
I tried several tutorials telling me to flash the original stock rom onto it except I cant access USB Debugging since i cant access settings.
So am I screwed or is there anything I can do?
Would really appreciate any help?

Why don't you just flash a custom recovery such as TWRP then flash a stock backup?

Firstly, I am not the op, so I do not get why you quoted me on that.
Secondly, the op alr said he restored his phone but it did not work.

I quoted you by mistake. Also when the op says he restored his phone I assume he means factory reset which will not restore anything deleted from the system partition. There's no reason why flashing a backup won't work unless he's done something to the partitions. He's S—off , boot loader unlocked so can't see why it wouldn't work if he uses the appropriate backup.
