Installation instructions
For new installations & upgrades, first, make sure you got CM10.2 ROM and the correct Gapps on your External SD Card.
After that, enter CWM and:
select "wipe data / factory reset"
go to "mounts & storage" and format /system. This is extremely important!
under the same menu, format /sdcard0 (be careful NOT to format /sdcard1 by mistake)
install CM10.2 (from the external sd)
install Gapps for JB+ (from the external sd)
reboot your phone
Please, note that every step of this tutorial is mandatory!
Non-touch CWM Recovery 6.0.3.8 (or later) is needed for this ROM to work properly.
If you don't have it already, CWM Recovery 6 can be downloaded from here.
Do NOT restore backup data of system apps!
If you need to restore applications, make sure you only restore 3rd party apps and preferably apks only. No app data. SMS, contacts, calendar entries, pictures, videos should be safe to restore.
If you're installing this ROM after stock ROM (Android 2.3.6), CM9 (Android 4.0.4) or CM10 (Android 4.1.2), I would recommend redownloading the apps rather than restoring them from a backup. They might not be fully compatible and might cause troubles. As a general suggestion, try to keep your ROM as clean as possible.

Thanks Radu,
How about performance, it's same like 4.2 roms or like another 4.3 rom.
I found out another 4.3 rom is slightly slower.
Will try it asap
thank u very much @arsradu .

Do we flash over arco's CM 10.1, android 4.2.2, beta 1? (like as updating CM10.1 version from alpha 8 to alpha 9)
Or do we have to make a clean installation?
I mean factory reset, wipe data, and others that erases everything...
And so and so much thanks for your work... You are great guys

I just wanted to post what I compiled while we wait for the big guns to put something together. Also, it's nice to have pristine builds too.
Oops. Double post. My bad.
I wonder if I can scare up that patched 'google now' apk somewhere off here, and we can install that over everything, until we get a proper JB set of GAPPS working?
Awesome, that was fast. Nice job!

Oh poop. I didn't even realize that wasn't working. I was just happy to have market. I guess it stands to reason that Google Now would be a gapps app :\

That would make sense. Shouldn't we just be able to pull it from one of the hacked JB roms that we have all been using?
You are trying to use ICS GAPPS on JellyBean, thats probably why there is no Google Now.
Try these >>>Jelly Bean GAPPS<<<

No, nightly builds are official CyanogenMod builds. This are unofficial builds from Cyan and Sgt7 repos. I think - one build in 3-5 days . I hope @terenseng and other will post their builds here and i hope @humberos/ @sbradymobile looks here for bug reports
Anyone else having gallery issues? The image becomes grey when its viewed in full screen . (Status bar and navi bar auto hide ) Really annoying issue :/ . Faced this problem in last sgt7 build too but not in builds from cm repo

EDIT
Disabling expanded desktop fixes this issue.
I get a FC on trebuchet in landscape mode if i browse through the list of apps and widgets.
Widget maker by Fahrbot I use still crashes after installing this rom, but it´s quite fast.
Please add the date of latest build in thread title .
Date/Month/year , preferably .

Only with old 2.6th kernel... I have tried to compile one p1c build with 3.0th kernel (CyanogenMod or cdesai kernel), but i get an error. Other option is to compile humberos kernel with some other repos of humberos. I can try it tommorow, but i don't know if it works for 4.3..
@storm31
Hi storm and thanks for your hard work
Is your build equivalent to humberos' 4.2?
I want to know if I can switch between the two easy.
Thanks!

Similar. This kernel base on humberos kernel. The kernel + some device data and driver are a little bit different. You can swith from 4.2, BUT do a nandroid backup, a cache wipe and a dalvik wipe. I recommend to format system and a factory reset also (or restock, then you have a clean build). You can restore your data from nandroid backup (with advanced restore only your data), but i prefer a titanium or helium backup (without system apps). You can swith between humberos 4.3 and this one with cache and dalvik wipes. A downgrade (from 4.3 to 4.2) is a little bit difficult (factory reset or restock needed).
P.S. HD Video(about 90 MB) is playable now, take attached kernel in this post. In last build you can deactivate HALO in status bar(System settings/Interface/HALO/Remove HALO button from the notification bar). Thanks for the hint an Andyxmas(from another forum) and to sbradymobile for the implementation.

I have tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341080. It works. I have copied it with filemanager(root) in system/apps folder, the have set permissions to rrrw(same pemissions like other system apps), then have installed this and i have now 2 camera apps: with photosphere and without. I will try the one from dev BANKS also.
I have tried it(zip flashing from CwM). It works also for me. If i make my photos, then i see also only green or violet stripes, but if the image is rendered, then i see a normal photo.

Introduction
A new Android ROM called The Schism. The Schism is an Android ROM that is a bit different than others. The Schism strives to bridge the gap between Android OS and Google Apps. Along with our ROM being inspired by Google Apps UI, we are also a ROM based off Mahdi-Rom so we have a load of great and useful features like Lockscreen Notifications (AOSPAL), Active Display (CHAOS), Heads UP (CM), SlimPIE (SLIM) and much more!

What this Project will be
Well I have been asked to maintain the l900 for schism. So yall will get an official version and a jlm version (modified and extras added). The official version will be the rom as it comes compiled from source. The jlm version will have added things (apps and tweaks) to make it a little more bloated (just call me samsung!! LOL!!). I will have gapps added into the jlm version and possible the plasma kernel along with synapse. I am also going to add in a preconfigured profile for synapse to aid in battery life for those who dont want to mess with the settings themselves.
Schism JLM Version
The main link for the Schism rom is a base rom as it is compiled from source. While this makes a nice small rom we can add to it sucks sometimes to download all the extra stuff and hope it works together. So I made up this JLM version to give a you a little bloated experience. I have added in the latest PA stock gapps with all the goodies. Added in many extras to hopefully make it a better daily rom with less effort to setup.

4g/Wifi/Gps working on this Rom.
Going through all the settings everything there seems to work well for the most part. Got a few FC's but ofcourse JL says he is getting a JLM build put together so will wait for that one before I go deep into the settings. But as it sits right now this is useable as a daily driver imo.
And yes those of you who are wondering... Hotspot does work as well.
Only real issue i have with this rom is while yes the 4g data does work it is slow compared to other Roms i've been on.
For example on this Rom i was getting 3-4Mbps. While on 3.2+ or Stock NE2 4.4.2 by Chaz I normally run between 12-18Mbps in my house and higher outside.

Well I am testing the JLM version now. It has build.prop tweak, init.d tweaks, plasma 2.53 kernel and synapse app, along with a full gapps (gallery, camera, calendar, chrome) and still has all the stock apps also. Most of the gapps have been moved to /data/app so you can remove what you dont want. I also include a few extra apps in /data/app. I will be uploading and posting a build log shortly.

Hi there mmandro, if you want to know whats changed from build to build you can check the commit logs via https://github.com/sledges/sfa-mer, there is no public change log (I can talk to the guys about doing so) so the commits are the nearest thing to a change log we have for the moment
phone, sms, data(RIL) not working in nightly build 1.1.4 u13.
high screen DPI settings try to revert to normal,
graphical glitches(maybe because of high screen dpi seeting)

Thanks for great work with sailfish
I have using this, latest version. This one: sailfishos-maguro-release-1.1.4.29-my1-201504292249.zip
I can call, send sms. WiFi working. Mobile data working too.
Bluetooth and camera not working. BT only blinking after ticking the ON button. But is I leaving BT menu and returning back, button is OFF again.
Ant camera is only black screen with various camera settings. I can change settings, but camera not working. Not front nor main cam.
This is a great new!
I'm incredibly happy that someone (maybe italian like me) had the great idea of porting a wonderful OS to our honoured GNext to give him new life. I hope I will be able to use this as my daily OS.
I wish I could help more testing it but this is the only phone I have and I can't risk to brick it.
Good luck, I wish you all the best and keep this project alive, I'm sure the Gnext community will be happy to switch to this OS.
Can some tell me how to build for maguro and where is source i want to test it and update it i am bored of android
Hello,
I just wanted to say thanks for the ROM. I'm flashing it right now.
I also wanted to say that the pre-alpha link points to an earlier version of 1.1.2 than the alpha one.
Cheers,
