Hi to all Note 2 users!
Has anybody tried the "magic sim" for dual SIM capability!
I would particularly be interested with GSM + CDMA! ... I have a CDMA sim on another phone as of now!
This is what the specs of the adapter onsite says --
www DOT magic-sim DOT com/product/id/9/phone/2453/MAGICSIM_ELITE_-_MICRO_SIM_DUAL_SIM_ADAPTER_for_Samsung_Galaxy_Note_2_%28GT-N7100%29.html
There are other adapters too.. But its mostly GSM + GSM
Experts and senior members..Comments pls?

i got a tp2 from u.s cellular and on the box it says it supports gsm networks does this mean it has a sim card slot some where cuz it also has a sim manager or something any input would be aprecitaed thanks.
Welcome to forums
If box states that it must be sim capable.
Inspect your device, under the battery should be a place for inserting a sim
Please I need to know if the Droid Incredible 2 which is said to be a dual network phone (GSM/CDMA) actually supports dual standby, as in I can program it for CDMA and insert a SIM card then both networks will be on at the same time and I can actually use either GSM or CDMA to make and receive calls. I've come across some world phones (Blackberry Storm 2) which can only support one network or the other at a time, meaning I can use one network while the other is deactivated. Is it the same with the Incredible 2? Please I need to know before buying. Thanks for any and all responses.
Hi guys, i have a N7102 Note 2 dual sim phone, and the second SIM card slot is not accepting any of my SIM cards, regardless of whether they are chinese or canadian.
I did a brief search here on XDA and someone said that the second slot is only 900/1800? The spec for this phone says the second slot should be quad band 850/900/1800/1900 though.
Please help me!
There seems to be a problem with SIM Slot two, no one can access the 850mhz. We hope Samsung China fixes this.
I would like to buy the Indian version of dual sim variant Note 7 ,what exactly are the differences between dual sim version and USA Att version ?
Does the dual sim version supports Samsung pay and other network features just like the ATT version?
Does it support Dual GSM ? will it support ATT and Verizon simultaneously ?
Thanks Guys appreciate your response.
Can't answer all of your questions but as far as I know:
Dual sim versions allow 2 sims (think 2 carriers/phone #'s) at once.
Single sim version only one sim 1 phone#.
All Sim version phones are GSM but not all versions have all frequencies.
for instance the 930F is missing one or 2 frequencies that AT&T uses. Also it's missing VoLte. It's would still be usable in most areas but there will be spots that service might suffer.
As for Verizon not sure if they even use sim cards at all. so can't answer.
Sent from my SM-N920I on XDA-DEVELOPERS Mobile app.
I just received a "replacement" for my "HTC 10 Unlocked" phone yesterday. I was surprised to see they had included the SIM and SDcard trays...I opened them up to find a 4GB card with "HTC" and "Java" printed on it - interesting. Then I opened up the SIM card tray to find a Sprint card. I'm a T-Mobile user, so I'm worried that they may have sent me a model that's somehow less compatible than I had before.
Q: How can I tell if this phone is SIM Unlocked? (Note: I only have T-Mobile SIMs)
Q: Is there any other difference in the so-called CDMA version 2PS6500 and the 2PS6200? Did they remove any of the GSM bands or anything?
Q: Is there any easy way to confirm support for Band 12 and VoLTE?
Thanks!

Q: How can I tell if this phone is SIM Unlocked? (Note: I only have T-Mobile SIMs)
You need to cross-check by trying diff GSM / CDMA-based carrier from your friends / relatives / colleagues
Q: Is there any other difference in the so-called CDMA version 2PS6500 and the 2PS6200? Did they remove any of the GSM bands or anything?
Yes there is difference I believe , CDMA version will support GSM bands (upto LTE) & but GSM model (2PS6200) I guess WON'T support CDMA networks..
refer pocketnow.com/2016/04/01/htc-10-fcc
Q: Is there any easy way to confirm support for Band 12 and VoLTE?
Yes support for FDD: Band 12 confirmed from htc.com/us/go/buy-htc-10 page
Not sure to confirm VoLTE support but you can dig the VoLTE option under Settings -> Call ; If you don't find under it then its not there..
You can also visit respective country tht you are living (assuming USA )in this case htc.com/us/go/buy-htc-10/ & scroll all the way to down for Specs -> Network
& guess what I'm dying to get my hands on 2PS6500 which will be best of both worlds (GSM/CDMA) cuz here in India we get only 2PS6200 model variant...
