I dont understand what you arw saying but if youre talking about brightness then any rom should okay if you use a bright white coloured wallpaper and theme

Color adjustments?

Ive searched high and low for a way to adjust colors without having to change the stock kernel
Is there a way to do it? I mostly want to get rid of the grey/purple stuff at low brightness and maybe improve the colors(no that it needs much improvement)
Im running stock JB
Thanks in advance

Purple greys at low brightness are a hardware defect. Adjusting that would make other colors appear very strange.

And no, as far as I know those changes require a kernel that supports it...
If you do change though, the trinity kernel for jb makes the colors look much better

Is it fast/ compared to stock JB kernel? Ive been told that with jb is better to stick to stock kernel for best performance and battery life

Look for the Trickster Mod app in the app section. It allows for tweaking the colours as well if you have a compatible kernel.

Galaxy Y Low Quality Display

My SGY works fine and displays everything properly when I use a custom ROM. However when I use ODIN to flash back to the Stock ROM, the display remains the same but all the pixels are visible and it looks crappy.
Complete opposite here, I find the stock look much clearer on the screen than any custom launcher or a rom with custom icons.
don't know why but to me the stock rom looks better maybe the use of bravia tweak in custom roms has something to do !
Ppl it doesnt depend on the roms...basically this phone is a LDPI phone which is a low density of pixels

Yeah we know that pixel density remains constant and being a hardware factor cannot be altered by software tweaks, but there is a noticeable difference between stock and customized roms maybe its just a feeling because of theme used or other modifications and we'll get used to it in due time!
Being an LDIP, But truly something happen with display when altering ROM, Don't know should i back to stock ROM or not ?

Green screen on camera

Hey guys, I have a note 2 N7100 now with the latest Omega rom. Problem is that my camera is green, I mean I can take pictures but can't see what I'm taking... Before Omega I used CM and the camera worked but often I had to reboot before using it otherwise I got a black screen...
So I can't find a rom where everything works, espacially my camera and that's kinda annoying ><

Are u still using exynos abuse app? Green screen used to be caused by the exynos abuse app to block the threat at that time. On latest roms exynos bug have been fixed. No more need to use it unless ur on an older base version. Ask the rom developer for answers.

Suggest ROM for better battery life!

Hi Guys,
Please suggest a custom stable ROM for best battery life. I have Samsung Wonder which i think is not very old and has very good battery. I recently rooted it and installed CyanogenMod 10.1, this ROM is great and on full charge it gives around 12-13 hours of battery life with Wifi On.
I normally turn On wifi and email exchange application, so please let me know if we have more option to increase battery life.
Thanks all
I suggest you One of a Kind.

This device doesn´t support auto brightness. Neither in the stock ROM, nor in custom ROMs. There is simply no light sensor to support autobrightness. This device only offers a proximity sensor which also works in CM9 and this is telling me you have no clue what you are talking about.

So just because you faced some flickering while browsing you are claiming this ROM is not stable?
I assure you it´s way more stable than a stock ROM can be and this flickering means nothing. Probably the most unstable part is located in front of the LCD and pressed some buttons while browsing.
This is a screenshoot of my CM9 and it can last up to 7 days with one charge:
i am sorry honeyx that I posted my short experience of using this ROM

Big problem samsung galaxy grand

My galaxy grand has a big screen issue. Its colour saturation has decreased a bit over time and now my colours on the screen do not look vibrant and saturated (Eg. Grass looks faded, sky and water also looks faded ). I have confirmed this problem by testing my phone with two more galaxy grands which I have at my home. I compared same pictures and wallpapers with all the three phones and their colours look a little bit more saturated and vibrant than my phone. The colour difference is small but is noticeable and that bugs me. Is this my phone's problem or does this jappen by using a phone too much over time?? Also I also advise you guys to compare your grands with other grands if you have any to compare your colours. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Which rom r u using ...? If u use stock touch wiz ....go to settings display untick..option like outdoor or powersaving.....like that ...., try it if its not work just flash stock rom ...via pc odin.....

Thanks for reply but this problem is there on all roms, cm and also touchwiz. I am right now on carbon but when i was in touchwiz i unticked those options but nothing happened. I also frequently flash stock rom before going to another rom but still nothing...
Try tweaking the colors with an app called Screen Adjuster...If tweaking the saturation doesn't work, then it might be some hardware problem...

I too have the problem but not persistent... it's a hardware problem and gets cleared away when refreshing system UI ( by rebooting )
I don't know if rebooting works for you... yet give a try...

I know about that hardware problem. It's present in every grand and gets cleared by reboot but my problem is different. The colours have generally become a little bit less saturated than a normal grand's screen. The difference is less but is noticeable when i compare same pictures. Nonetheless, thanks for the reply
Pls post screen shots of ur grand then only we try to help u....if u run stock 4.1.2or 4.2.2 enter these *#0*# on dialer...then check RBG......?
