Hey guys I was wondering if anyone else has had notifications problems after flashing a custom rom. I seem to only be getting notifications in the status bar from system apps. No 3rd party apps have sent me notifications. I checked the notification settings in the setting app and in each app and rebooted., wiped cache and still nothing... Any ideas?

I installed lightflow on my 4.1.1 galaxy nexus and it requires to disable the skype icon in the notification bar otherwise it would always led when standby.
But with this option I noticed that skype, while in background, is closed by the android task manager.
Do you know a clean way to fix this annoying problem?
Thanks in advance!
anyone else's google now in the notification bar just disappeared ie the weather card. didnt swipe it away or change any setting but it just disappeared as did time home.
there all showing in the app as normal , ive tried turning google now on and off. tried clearing app data and cache and still wont re appear in the notification bar.
any ideas?
FIXED
Turns out there was an update id not been notified about in play store once updated all back to normal
Mine still doesn't show anything after the update. I like to keep my weather info on the notification panel. Already did the off/on trick or clear data. Both my gnex and n7 are totally blank
Edit: after update the card setting was suddenly turned off from low priority. All fixed now

Anyone else having this issue with 4.3 update? It goes to low profile mode, so i see the dots on nav bar and dimmed status bar, but it doesn't hide. When that happens, I have to quit youtube and swipe it off on recent apps list to make low profile mode work properly again. Is this youtube app issue or something else?
Hello,
The Alarm Icon in the notification area keeps disappering, specifically it never remains in the notification are after a reboot.
The alarms themselves do work and do go off at the given time, but the icon isnt showing.
After a fresh reboot the icon appears briefly when the system is loading, but disappears once system fully loaded
any advice on how to remedy this is appreciated
PS: google search led me to two alleged solution of which NONE worked for me. One suggested to clear data for the clock app. The other suggested that this issue is related to the Pandora app messing things up (I have never installed such app)...
There are several notifications that are annoying to say the least.
We have a lot of control to handle app notifications that appear, but this is a system notification it seems, I can't identify what system feature is triggering the alert, then of course disabling it.
Running the Oreo Beta on a fresh install.
One of the notifications is: "blah blah app is using the battery, select for more details..." or something to that affect. It is a Android system notification, but I can't figure out what triggers that one and how to disable it.
Example, Life 360 app running in the background all the time, the alert will randomly show in the notification bar. Just swiping down and looking at it often makes it go away, I don't select it, or I just clear the alerts with the bars at the bottom.
Thanks
Go to Google Play and search for an app called "Hide 'running in the background' Notification" by iboalali.
Awesome. Thanks
