[SHARE] Xposed Framework Mod - 2.3 beta 1 (works on N3)

When I used xposed phone response time to wake up when you hit power or home button isn't instant like stock, take a few seconds longer, and I couldn't get some modules to work, but I'm on stock rom so that might be why

Xposed alone wouldn't cause any kind of wake up delay. Yes, there are many modules that don't work yet, but browse through the thread. Pretty sure all apps in multi Window is working in Wanam.

Well once u deleted xposed phone went back to fast wake, just weird

It really depends what modules you had installed.

Using, ULTRA KEY BOARD and I keep getting notifications. Is there a way to disable it? I want to use Ultra as my keyboard. Thanks!
Q and a section
And as far as I know there isn't

Thanks for the reply.
Well, that's pretty annoying.
Thanks!
You have to use a custom Rom that disables that notification.

More specifically freegs3 you have the option to disable during install of rom
The keyboard notification is there to let you change keyboards because long press on text boxes no longer bring up a menu but rather the copy paste function in ICS
I want to change the long press menu action to show my recent apps. I know i will have to change it to APP_SWITCH but i cant find the keylayout.I have gone to System/usr/Keylayout but i cant find it.
Does anyone know of an app that lets you do this? I thought i could find one in xposed but i couldnt.

It has a button remap option but I guess it's not compatible with our phones because none of the options had any effect.

NVM It worked. I never went to xposed/framework and actually installed it. I just installed the installer
Thanks for the help.

I am using xposed additions pro, and I remapped long press menu to "search", however the haptic feedback stops working for the menu button. Does this happen to anyone else? Anyone know another way to make long press menu = search? Thanks

Is there any mod to replace menu with recent apps button as on stock Android? I find recent apps more useful than rarely used menu.
There is if you are rooted. First you'll need the Xposed installer, then the module for the G2. You can use the free module for this.
Use search, there are threads on xda where you'll find the links to these mods.

You can view recent Apps by long pressing on the Home menu icon
Yes, but not being able to just tap it is extremely annoying.
What were they thinking?

Exactly!
Scared to enable it with no recovery...
Same. Just use G3 tweaksbox for now.

I'm using it for several things. Of course not everything will work!
I thought xposed has this "safemode boot" to fix bootloops? Just in case
Sent from my G3
Actually stopped using G3 tweak box because something was causing lag when pulling down notification shade. Switched to Gravity and mostly works as stated, without the lag.
Mime was working fine but incessant really using it so I removed it

Does gravitybox or tweaksbox allow you to change the lockscreen to the AOSP lockscreen?

Nope. Just use widget locker as the lock screen and disable the stock one.
