AOSP Lockscreen - Verizon HTC One (M7)

So now that I'm s-off and rooted I was wondering if there is anyway to get the AOSP Lock screen working and fully functional?

Rename htclockscreen.apk to htclockscreen.bak. If you need to get sense lockscreen back, rename back to apk

Isn't this method bugged? IIRC to access calls or alarms it has to be unlocked first.

That would be correct because you're still using sense dialer and clock apks. It all ties in together, but you were asking about lockscreen and that's what you do for lockscreen.

This thread caught my attention, so this does or doesn't work?

Works.

But as stated above.. Does not allow you to answer calls/deal with alarms without unlocking.

Blue ics look

having used icecream sandwich on my hd2 I liked the "blue" look. is there a theme avaliable for this?
No, only way is de-sense your rom. The phone is new and devs will work on it. Wait a few days or a week and the modding will begin.

Thanks, it does look so much easier
yup planning to do some themes when I have mine and have time
You can run nova launcher and widget locker for a near ics look.

If you are rooted and want the ics lockscreen then delete htcidlescreen.Apk... /system/app... Make sure you do a backup just in case... You know... Nandroid

I don't have an htcidlescreen.apk file in the /system/app folder
It works, i deleted all the following
Code:
idlescreen_shortcut.apk
IdleScreen_People.apk
IdleScreen_Photo.apk
IdleScreen_Weather.apk
Idlescreen_Base.apk
Idlescreen_productivity.apk
and restarted. I now have the ICS lockscreen, pattern lock etc. Just need to work out how to disable the lock screen so i only have the pattern lock...
I did an "uninstall" on those files using Super Manager. Just restarting the phone now

Uh-oh! Did you backup? you'll still be able to get into recovery to reflash or adb should connect during boot to push the files back!

Good stuff. Not sure why that didn't work for you but it's not actually that useful yet as the htc dialler and alarms won't integrate with the stock lock screen...
Dunno. I guess I should just be a little more patient and wait for a vanilla ICS ROM.
anyone can re-theme Sense 4.0 to have blue ICS looks (maintain Sense Overlay)?

Do I have to be on a specific Rom and Kernel? I just have the factory ICS and rooted, that is it. I haven't flashed any ROM's to my phone. That could be it
All I get is the silver android icon. I'm on darkside evolution v.8
good lord that has to be the slowest download ever. we may be in a completely new kernel before this thing is halfway finished.
you have to be on a rom that supports custom boot animations.. BlessU you have to push the r/w button up top to make the directory re-writable.
tikay00 are you sticking it the /system/media/ folder make sure it is r/w... i have tested it on darkside, and JB it works for me. as long as it is in the /system/media/ directory and your rom supports the custom boot animations it should ( IN THEORY) had to throw that in ther for ****s and giggles.... it should work...:silly:
Ok thank you for the help. I've never dabbled in flashing ROM's so I am going to begin looking into that.

[MOD][TW][4.1.2] AOSP Lockscreen Toggle and TouchWiz Lockscreen Mods

Got The AOSP Locksreen to work on stock deodexed Touchwiz Rom.
I'm using NOTEorious Prime RC1.5 JB 4.1.2 AOSP/TW Mash-up N7105
Should work on other Roms as well
This is has Ink Mod Red/Black Built in to the Settings so no need to flash both.
Just Flash the Attached Zips [SECSettings AOSP Lockscreen Addon] and [AOSP Lockscreen] You may need to wipe Cache/Dalvik
As Always BACKUP before you flash anything.
Clock is White Right Now and I am Working on color mods for it.
Have a mod for blue Lockscreen Text
Manual Way:
It is getting hard for me to keep up with all the mod changes and everything going on in my life so I will post the changed files for this mod so that dev's can add them to any ROM.
AOSP Lock.rar has 4 files in side, just replace the files in your ROM with these.
android.policy.jar
\com\android\internal\policy\impl and open LockPatternKeyguardView.smali
SecSettings.apk
/smali/com/android/settings/ folder and open LockscreenSettings.smali
res/xml folder and open lockscreen_settings.xm
The 4th file is only needed if you have problems recompiling it has the changes need for wfd_picker_dialog.xml. It goes in res/layout.
TouchWiz LockScreen Mods
I will place My Touchwiz Lock-screen Mods in this post to keep the 2 separate. These do not interfere with the toggle mod so both can be flashed.
Didnt work for me on CleanRom

Also, does this add custom app access like modified AOSP lock screen?

That's what it looks like on mine with the all blue text. Will probably make an all black for that wallpaper.
Lockscreen icons are in framework-res. So you can change them to anything you want Slide up for Google Now [Hard to see on White Wallpaper]
I am working on lockscreen mods for this. A lot of the structure is in the original system so it makes it a little easier but I still have to find the hidden ones.
Lockscreen Targets can be modified but not easily. Would have to redirect the targets manually.
It seems this doesn't work Saurom install unfortunately ):
Flashed SECSettings AOSP Lockscreen Addon.zip with AOSP Lockscreen.zip in TWRP. I tried it with and without wiping the cache. All I got were bootloops.
Luckily I had a backup so this was no real problem for me.
Still looking forward to this mod when its working!

Possibly. The framework for the aosp lockscreen is already built in. All I had to do was reference it. Samsung just added there stuff on top. If you send me your android.policy.jar and secsettings.apk . I can look at it and try the method I used for the note 2 if you don't mind testing.

[REQUEST] Stock / Google Edition Lock Screen

Hi All,
Currently running ARHD 11.0 on my HTC One. I've deleted the HTC Lock Screen and now have the AOSP Lock Screen (see first attached pic).
Its not bad, but what I'm really looking for is the Lock Screen found on the Google Edition HTC One (see second attached pic). The difference is the bold hours and the ability to add widgets.
I know there probably isn't a quick fix, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Use this for now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2343150
I know it has already been recommended, but in all honesty the Holo Locker Premium application is just amazing and well worth every penny. I tried the trial version with not much hope and I absolutely loved it. At first whenever I would wake it up, the HTC lockscreen would appear for a second and then the Holo lockscreen, so then I used TitaniumBackup to freeze the HTC Lockscreen and that doesn't happen anymore; of course if you're not rooted, that will be hard to achieve.
I realize that you want pattern unlock, but I guess you can't always get everything. You can delete the HTC Lockscreen apk (back it up first) from the system/app and you'll get the AOSP lockscreen but with only one button on the right (unlock) and no other choices, and also when someone calls, you'd have to unlock in order to see who it is (same thing with choosing to install AOSP Lockscreen on most ROMs like TrickDroid) which gets annoying.
I know it's not ideal since you won't get any security lock options, but in all honesty it's the best I have tried so far.
