4.3 OTA? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm rooted and using cm10.2 on my device. I've read a 4.3 ota update is coming late Oct early Nov. If this is true will my current phone state effect the update? If so, how can I complete wipe my phone to install the update? Like unroot, wipe the files and literally everything? To a brand new phone state. Thanks.

Looking for VZW 4.0.2 update to apply in CWM

Searched for this and asked in Q&A. It's all GSM people. Haven't found anything for the CDMA version. You guys are the best resource
I'm rooted/unlocked with permanent CWM.
The phone keeps interrupting me with the update notification.
It fails to install because I have CWM.
I don't want to install a new ROM, just want the update. Is there an update for 4.0.2 that can be applied through CWM? ... like an update.zip anything flashable to bring me to 4.0.2?
Thank you all for your hard work.
Just because you don't get an answer to your question doesn't mean you post it in development section.

That wasn't my reasoning. It was a development related question about files that development would likely have. That's why I thought it was the most logical spot for it.
My apologies.

Thank you. That's what I was looking for. Found it in the GSM nexus development area btw.

[Q] Safe bet for a noob !

Hey, guys!
Been reading the forums for a while, but I tend to get more confused the more I read...
Just wondering; What is the newest and best reccomended ROM for my samsung galaxy nexus?
I now have clockworkmod, unlocked with 4.1.1.
And a couple of random q's; Is there a specific page where updates are released? Do i need to do a factory reset every time?
so many questions.... bare with me, please (A)
thanks

1) ROM is a user taste. Try all and pick one.
2) If you got a ROM from here, then come back and check for updates.
3) From ROM to ROM yes you have to factory reset.
And 4) This thread is at wrong place... Should go to Q&A.

[Q] Random update...?! (T-Mobile)

Last night I got an update for my T-Mobile S3 runnnig 4.1.1. At first I thought I got the 4.1.2 update but when it was all set and done, it was still running 4.1.1. So, that was depressing. I had rooted the phone but kept touch-wiz for unknown reasons. I have no idea what the update did but I did loose root. Does anybody know what the update was?
P.S. If this has been asked then just redirect me to that thread...and I will delete this.
Check this thread. . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201456
More than likely you are getting updated from uvdlja to uvdljc. It's small update to enhance security and some small things. .
Edit: if you cannot find your thread in general section anymore, probably in the Q&A.

[Q] ATT Software upgrade not working

I checked for the ATT software update today (i am on Base Rom) and it downloaded the update but it was not able to install i saw that it went to a TWRP Recovery mode..
I have the Note 2 Rooted with TWRP Recovery.
Can some one help me how to get past this one?
You need stock recovery to install OTA updates. TWRP will not install OTA updates. Look for flashable .zip of the update.

You answered your own question. You can't do the update on custom recovery. There are flashable roms in development.
Edit:
Lol. 30 seconds late on response.

Check the general section. There is a thread there with a download link.
DO NOT flash that. Read the posts before you dive in. People are bootlooping.

YES! The stock camera focus breathing issue is finally fixed.
Wow this took off fast. Thanks for the update that they are working on it. Cant wait. Was hoping to help but you guys rule.
Do we need a purely informative thread here in development?
