Ok, so I'm planning on flashing my epic to any one of those carriers above. But the question is, once its fully flashed, will i be able to root it with all the functionalities and avoid bricking? And when i flash a rom, will anything mess up? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if somebody would be willing/interested in working on a port of MIUI for the Verizon variant of the HTC One. It's my favorite ROM, and I know that it's been created for other variants of the HTC One as seen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352742&highlight=miui
Would anybody else be interested in this? Thanks for looking!:good:
Think we will need more devs to have unlocked phones first.

+1 for MIUI on VZW HTC One
Does anyone know anything about MIUI coming to the Verizon HTC One? Ive been waiting for this for a while. I saw some beta testers were wanted a few weeks ago, but I can't find much.
as always, that the installation of custom ROMs and flashing your device is risky business and we always recommend that you backup your data prior to playing around with the firmware. If you’re still that you want to give MIUI a try on your HTC One device, head over here and download the ROM file that you need and follow these simple instructions:
Push zip file to sdcard or Download on phone.
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe data (Factory Reset)
Flash ROM.
Reboot.

I don't see the Verizon model of the HTC One listed on that page, so what are you trying to tell us?

I've been doing some research recently and from the looks of it there still hasn't been a build made for the Verizon HTC One. I tried two builds for the HTC One and was able to get them to boot but only briefly and with some issues. The main one being that wifi and sim wouldn't activate, also got numerous random reboots within seconds of booting. (Longest it went without rebooting was maybe a minute tops)

For a better understanding, why don't you believe there will be?

The Verizon m7 was released like 6 months after the other variants, and that is when the majority of the major development occurs. To this day some of the most popular Roms are still not available. The m8 was released at the same time this time so it should receiver support from all the major developers.
Hello,
I've been trying to help my friend root his Verizon HTC One. However, because I'm new to HTC devices, I don't know how to do it. If someone can link me to a page where I can find instructions on it, I would be grateful.
His phone is currently running 4.3, Software number is 2.10.605.1, and I believe that his bootloader is unlocked.
Thanks!

Hi all.
I'm new to flash/root/unlocking and a need a bit of help. I have been spending 3 days straight trying to SIM unlock my LS980 so i may use it for t-mobile. I followed the instructions listed here: http://androidfannetwork.com/2014/03/05/sim-unlock-your-sprint-lg-g2-for-gsm/
and manged to basically complete the process. Only to find out that for some reason i could not delete telephony.db and add a t-mobile APN. Which means I need to start all over from scratch. Some one told me that using stock ROM wont work since I have a "branded" phone (whatever that means) so must use custom ROMs. But I dont know where to find a proper guide. Anyone with any links to a good guide for SIM unlocking a ls980 using custom ROMs? Thanks so much for helping this noob out.
Have you tried this?

Thanks man. Still got a few issues but at least I have service and it recognizes my t-mobile sim. Many thanks.
Does anyone know what I could do to get my M8 back to full stock, with the T-Mobile ROM so I could trade it in?
