Hey guys.
I followed instructions of some jerk for rooting my HTC One X (tegra 3, CID HTC_044)
Then my phone stuck in white screen.
I tried rebooting it, it did not help.
Then I was messing around with factory reset and recovery, fastbooted boot.img and recovery.img and managed to boot, but there was no sim card!
I downloaded and installed TWRP and new rom EVITA_UL_JB_50_S_TMO_DE_5.08.111.2_By_Turge.zip
Installed new rom but still no sim card.
What do I do?
My phone:

You have the evita ? Then you are also in the wrong forum ! Check the top of the bootloader.
Evita = HTC one xl at&t
Endevoru = HTC one x quad-core
This forum is for the quadcore. The evita has it's own specific forum.

I dont have a clue about this stuff.
Now I see that it is possible that the rom itself makes problem.
Could you please send me download link for the correct rom.
Also, I installed TWRP.
Is this correct: I download rom and copy it to SD card, then reboot into TWRP and choose the zip you will (maybe) give me?
I dont have to erase anything (which I am also not shure if I know how to do)
I have no correct rom, i want to know what phone you have. Go into the bootloader and write down what you see. Post it back here please

I fixed it. The rom was wrong.
I installed the correct one: One_X_4.18.401.2_deodexed and everything is peaches.
One more question about rooting:
Can I simply put SuperSU.zip on SD card, go to bootloader, TWRP adn install it using TWRP?

If your phone cid is HTC_044, it's same as mine. And the latest software number is 4.19.707.3 (baseband 5.1204.167.31, hboot 1.73). See attached screenshot of my phone.
For the correct stock rom as mentioned, it's been posted in this forum which you can find easily using forum search function.

What you can do is search for the 2.3 Android update (which is not carrier locked) and download it. Then take the battery out of your desire and hold the down volume button and turn it on. Use the volume button to select 'fastboot' and then press there power button to select. After this start the 2.3 update on your computer and then you should be fine.

Of course it fails at radio, you have a new one and you need a newer RUU. Go to HTC dev site, kernel source code part, configure filter to DEVICE (Desire) and choose OTHER below it, click FIND FILES and the first one to download will be RUU upgrade android version 2.3.
Download the upgrade, reboot phone to bootloader and run it.

Hi gifted. I really need your help.
Am to Ivory Coast and I have a HTC Inspire 4G A9192 Android version 2.3.3
I wanted to upgrade to Android 4.2 cm JellyTime_R30.
First I installed ClockworkMode recovery v5.8.1.5
After flach Rom I restarted my phone and it stayed on HTC logo for several minutes (10 to 15 minutes). I removed the battery to recover. When I always turn the same scenario. When I put him in charge, it goes into recovery mode.

Please help me
Hi, first of all i want to apologize dor such a noob question.
The thing is that i just S-OFF my phone, installed CWM recovery, and ROOTed it,
I've read:
Before you start, make sure your CID is on the list, if not
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH!
so my CID is a carrier cid: VODAP304
so, i have the bootloader unlocked, rooted, and CWM and STILL i can't put a JB rom? or im just dumb and im not getting it.
Thanks in advance for your help
S-OFF ? I think you are still S-ON !
Unlocking the bootloader has nothing to do with S-OFF
and no you can not flash a JB rom only ICS roms

As I thought S-ON not S-OFF
my opinion .... stay on stock or ics roms, don't go messing with different hboots & JB roms even if it's possible !
Just wait for the official update. I think you have to anyway. Don't know about aosp/aokp roms, i don't use them !

Hello,
I'm writing this thread because I have not found a solution to my problem.
I have HTC Wildfire S A510e, I wanted to root it so I tried several "one click" methods, but it doesn't work (always errors).
Finally I choose "Wildfire S all in one kit v2.1", I followed the tutorial from beginning to the end.
Once lit my WFS, I tried to install "ROM manager", but a message appears saying that the phone is not rooted (no Super user).
I can't root or even unroot my phone, Unrevoked says "Device marvel is not supported at this time". PLEASE help me!

Install a custom recovery, find one here in our forums. TWRP is recommended by me. Then Install a custom ROM, Jmz's custom stock modded rom is most stable. Or do the ruu. Should fix it.

Oh God, seems like my friend used my account to post about this, the phone is actually rooted and using the stock rom, I don't know what he did to it because he brought it to me just a few hours ago, seems like he deleted something because the phone keeps looping, I'll try to flash TWRP and install a custom rom to see if that fixes the problem.
The phone is Dev Edition... had battery issues couple of months back and didnt use it since then. Yesterday, thought of charging it and the battery is holding up good.... And then, while trying to flash a recovery, deleted it and all data via TWRP... Now the phone boots into TWRP and there is no recovery file... On top of this, my PC (Win 7 64) doesnt recognize the phone....It has all relevant drivers (my wife's HTC One was recognized)..... adb devices/fastboot devices is not recognizing it ....
