I want to get this Samsung Galaxy Note II.
Currently using the Simple Mobile $40 monthly plan with my HTC phone.

A few people in these forums have said that the Note II will work on Simple Mobile.
But there are a few choices here ...
the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II model SGH-T889

the International Samsung Galaxy Note II model GT-N7100

Have you been able to get the Note II to work on Simple Mobile?
Which Note II model was it?
It works with both but the international variant will only get you 2g (edge) network speeds while the T-Mobile vr will work with 4G on simple mobile.
sent from the monster Galaxy Note 2
Ok, so I want 4G. But not being a T-Mobile customer. The only No Contract Note II phone I can find:
http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-phone/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-II-No-Annual-Contract
for $650.
Do you know if I can get a lower price for the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II ?

BestBuy/Ebay is having a promo of 25% off the phone on a 2 yrs contract @ $247
Get it as soon as you get the phone, call T-Mobile and change your plan from classic to value plan. You will need to pay another $200 for the change and you are contract free. In the end you get the phone for $447
That is what I am doing and i should get my phone today.
Fyi: the promo ends on 11/08/2012 with 30 days return. The promotion code is EBSAVE25

Was there any setup fees (activation, sim, etc..)? Still wondering if I should do this seeing that I've already prepaid a few months..

Sorry but you are mistaken about being contract free by moving to a value plan. You will still be under contract for 2 years albeit with a lower monthly bill.

So, i want a Note II and am getting it but i want to use it on Verizon Prepaid. Is it possible? I tried searching and couldnt really find anything. Found 1 thread and it was more like a flame war.. lol.
$50 Unlimited or $60 for smartphones. How does one get the phone to work on prepaid?
So i currently have the s3, and i have been a huge fan of the note 2 and since the note 3 is available the note 2 is now cheaper. So my plan was to trade it in and see if they would allow me to trade. Is this possible without paying the full retail for the phone? And my upgrade isnt up until 2015 august 13 also im under sprint.
You will have to pay retail minus what ever you get for the trade, which likely isn't much..I'd try Craigslist. I recently traded my S3 plus $40 cash for a 3 month old Note 2.

I bought a Galaxy Note 4 under contract with Sprint, but when I moved recently, I noticed that the service for Sprint was horrid in my area. I'm willing to pay out of my contact, but I'm not sure if Sprint Galaxy Note 4's are able to be unlocked and used on GSM. Any help?
On Sprints unlocking website it only lists the later iPhones as being unlock-able for domestic use.
All future Sprint phones will have this ability. Sell your phone to pay your ETF... Start fresh.
Hey folks, is it me or did Samsung back away from giving up former Note 7 owners any type of discounts for the S8? I know it was a rumor and I could be wrong but has anyone found anything? Maybe by calling their Corporate offices? I know they are in it for the money but it would be nice to give us some incentive to stay with them. Even a $50 discount would help.
Mods, please change topic to Galaxy S8 not S7. Thanks.
