Could anyone tell me how to eliminate the Battery symbol and time in the notification bar? I have the bar hidden right now, but I use a different app to monitor the battery, so I don't want two indicators up there, and the time is useless since I have an app on the screen showing the time.
Thanks for the help in advance.

you will have to do this with a custom home screen (aka launcher.)
not sure which, launcher pro or ADW but one of those can modify those settings to a certain extent. I dont have exact details but someone can provide them. also that might require root... are you running root? how about any custom roms? I am pretty sure cyanogenmod comes with ADW, and that in CM adw you can modify those. good luck --josh
I'm running sky raider 2.5.0 and it has launcher pro in it. There is no options for that. Oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.

Go to the Themes and Apps forum. There is a thread in there with zip files for removing the clock, location reticle, and/or battery icon.
Hey guys I did a few searches but couldn't find anything. I am running the Pure Stock Rooted and Debloated ROM by anirudhks.
I love it but I was wondering if anyone knows of a flashable zip to allow me to enable/disable the Q-Slide bar in the notification center? I know it takes up an extreme amount of space in the notification center and I do understand why it was removed, but I actually like having the ability to enable certain pop ups while doing anything.
Or if someone could make a flashable zip that allows us to enable the Q-Slide settings in the notification center entirely since there is already a flashable zip that allows us to remove the Q-Slide bar that would be awesome! :good::good:
Thanks devs you guys are awesome btw! :highfive:

I am running 4.2.2 stock and rooted on galaxy s4 T Mobile. The only things I did to customize my phone is using busybox and Xposed with Xblast that allowed me to change the status bar color on the icons, battery, wifi, network indication, and clock. That's really the only customization I did to the phone using Xposed. I also have Widgetlocker app and just some nothing out of the ordinary apps on my phone. If you look at my screenshots you will see a black box with white words in it. That's normal of course but then you will see in another screenshot that there is a blackbox but with black words that you can't see. I don't know why this has happen the blackout words and it seems like it's only on certain apps that is why I am able to show different screenshots. Does anyone know what I am saying trying my best to explain this. I don't want to reset my phone I did it once already when this happened but now it came back. I also tried fixing permissions through busybox and that didn't help. If anyone has anything that can help I would really appreciate it!
Thanks,

The ROM you are using uses the same font/style source for both toast notifications and whatever else you were actually trying to change the formatting of.
You can easily fix it by disabling Xposed, or just the Xposed module that it causing the issue. But you probably can't both fix it and keep that Xposed module.
Don't know why this is happening

Hey thanks for the reply. I disable the Xblast module and it work so far. The black box is now replaced with a white box with black words again. But I don't remember ever having a problem using the Xblast on my S3 like I am using it on my S4 now. Also since I disable it is there another way to change my icon colors in the status bar and maybe be able to hide the battery and or clock up there as well? Do you know too how to change the T Mobile name in the notification pulldown to label it something else that is what I was using the Xblast mainly for changing the status bar and label.
I have attached 3 new photos showing the notification pulldown with the word Stormchaser and the one showing the original status bar, and one showing the customized status bar that I would like to have, is there other ways of doing this without using Xblast?
Try wanam xposed? You can do all that you want with it

Sorry for the inconvenience... just go to visual tweaks and toast notification then choose toast style as remove and uncheck the toast color and toast bg color and do a soft reboot...it will solve ur problem
I'm only able to get some of the settings to work such as the notification changer however it only changes the color of my alarm and wifi notification.

Gravitybox is a tweak module for xposed that is meant to work on AOSP devices, it even clearly says so in the disclaimer that you *should* read before downloading/installing..........
Anyway, I do think that the Sense Toolbox works for most roms. But if you're in need of tweaks, then use a rom that has most tweaks already available for you (like LeeDroid or Viper).
A simple module that puts a clock on the navigation bar. I personally use it to get a little more space for the notification icons on the statusbar, using gravitybox to move the clock to the center[1].
The module only puts the clock on the navigation bar when the device is in portrait.
The clock responds to changes on the nav bar color along with the buttons (gets dark when the background is light), but colors are not perfect[2].
I plan to implement changes to the statusbar clock from within the module but for now I don't know how to do it, and I'm busy studying.
Hope you like it!
(ps.: the clock in the middle on the screenshots gets hidden behind the notch[1])
[1] GravityBox no longer needed to remove the clock!
[2] Colors were corrected on update V2.
Update V2:
- Colors are more accurate now;
- It now dimms when the clock is white (I'm planning to make a Manager 'app' to customize it)(It's a little glitchy sometimes but works fine);
- Bug: I've noticed a problem when I reboot, open chrome and try to open a new tab the system stops oppening apps (but only if I do it right after rebooting, I'm still investigating this.);
Mini Update V2.1:
- The mod now automatically removes the clock from the statusbar when not in landscape! (GravityBox no longer needed!)
- Color change (from white to black, etc) is perfect now!
- Dimming temporarely disabled (Will re-implement later);
- APK Size is much smaller (Removed some things auto added by Android Studio);
Update V3.0.0:
- There are two versions:
-> the one with a 'c' at the end has an customization screen (can change colors, position and hide/show statusbar clock);
-> the other one is just as the older versions, but it works on LineageOs based roms (Tested on RessurectionRemix(I think) by @InfinityXDA!);
* This module is not yet ready to use on Roms based on LineageOs. I'm working on it and it seems to be already fixed (Will be added on V3.0).
Hello, do I go to Magisk Manager to use this? I don't have the option in Magisk Manager. Maybe I'm using the wrong one? not sure.
Sorry. Just a noob here. Thanks.

Wich theme? I only made it so the clock follows the navigation icons from light to dark (couldn't find a way to get the actual button's color). If you describe the problem I can look into it. (Or are you mentioning the Substratum Theme Engine as a whole? This mod should not interfeere on it... it just adds a layout with the clock on the navigation bar).

You have to install EdXposed and Riru core.
Install instructions from https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposed:
make sure Magisk v17.0 or higher is installed.
download Riru-core v10 or higher and install it in Magisk Manager or recovery.
download EdXposed and install it in Magisk Manager or recovery.
Install companion application(s)
reboot.

After installing you just get the NavigationBar Clock apk, install it normally and activate the module on EdXposed Installer app.
Edit: Don't install it if you don't have the experience... You might get into bootloops and such. I only tested it on stock ROM and I don't know hot it behaves on other ROMs (Should not cause any problems though). In my device the install process was smooth.

Strange.. Are you using GravityBox? I've made a little workaround for GB users, I'll release it later.
I'm working on some easy way to get log from users. I'll take a look on this, thanks for the info!
@InfinityXDA Try this apk, is the new one with the workaround for GravityBox. Tell me if the clock shows up or shows "??:??".
