So I have this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050293
The thread is closed so I have to ask for help here.
My problem is, I was around messing with some of the settings of the phone and Im 100% shure I didn't did anything that was related to disable the task bar but I clicked somewere and now I can't enable my task bar, it just disapeared, I searched again through the complete phone settings and rom settings in the phone and can't find a way to re-enable the task bar, my secure option would be to reset to factory/reinstall the rom but I would lose some progress on games/all my apps and I for shure don't want that.
Can anyone help me by telling me how I can enable my task bar? I really miss it as it helps a lot.

Does anybody know a trick to disable the battery status? I want neither the clock nor the Battery symbol.

settings->today->items-> un check them!
No no no, I know what he means, I want to get rid off them too. The top bar, I would like to only see a clock instead of those symbols!!!
Requires a registry tweak but an easy way to do it is via this app - advance config.
If you've got a home cooked ROM it might already be installed otherwise grab it from this thread
Page 2 has settings for the top/start bar.

that´s what i am searching for, but the tweak doesn´t work correct. it disturbs the antenna symbol, it cuts one half.
I got the same issue? Any solutions?
Hey, is there anthing that can permanently remove the top task / title bar so I can get "full screen" all the time? I still want the bottom task bar ...
I have looked everywhere but can't find software to do this.
I know there is a possible temporary method using Kiosk mode calls, but they need coding and apparently are not permanent.
Thanks for any feedback or support ... I hope this is the right place to ask.

I just loaded sense and I no longer can touch the top bar and get notifications. I also don't get the drop down manager that controlled the programs and amount of memory used. Does someone know if this is not part of sense or if this is another part they forgot. Or is there a fix for this?
Sense definitely supports both. Try looking in preference settings for each.

Click to collapse
Here's the Task Manager, the notification bar should be there already though.
FIXED using MemMaid.
I was annoyed too that the notification manager doesn't work off the top bar. I was able to get it back using MemMaid. I went to the startup services in MemMaid and found NOTIFICATIONMANGER was set for manual start. Changed it to auto start and.... Woot! I got Notification Manager back!
There is bound to be a reg edit to do this too. Looking now...
Also, the HTC task manger I am still looking for. It actually came up working a couple of times right after I installed the new rom, then disappeared. ???
And some of the UI just doesn't function, as well. The home and recent apps buttons in the navigation bar don't work, the settings button in the notification panel doesn't work anymore, and all of the default apps are gone.
Any ideas how this happened, or how to fix it? I'd say I'm moderate to advanced in terms of experience troubleshooting Android, and I'm comfortable with difficult procedures including things requiring root.
Edit: Oops, wrong subforum. I can't figure out how to delete this.
Hi, is there a way to keep the nav bar visible at all times in full screen apps. I hate swiping to get it to appear ... There is no such option in the nav bar options in settings... Also I have NiceLock addon for the bar but there is no such option either.
If there is no way with app or something can this be done with root?
Try asking this question on Android Central. It's a lot more active and you will probably get a response there.
