Hey, is there anthing that can permanently remove the top task / title bar so I can get "full screen" all the time? I still want the bottom task bar ...
I have looked everywhere but can't find software to do this.
I know there is a possible temporary method using Kiosk mode calls, but they need coding and apparently are not permanent.
Thanks for any feedback or support ... I hope this is the right place to ask.

I have everything except the Top Right double chevron (vertical equivalent of this ... |>> )
Can anyone help please?
I have used Wisbar Adv and WkTask, but still am left with this ...

Does anybody know a trick to disable the battery status? I want neither the clock nor the Battery symbol.

settings->today->items-> un check them!
No no no, I know what he means, I want to get rid off them too. The top bar, I would like to only see a clock instead of those symbols!!!
Requires a registry tweak but an easy way to do it is via this app - advance config.
If you've got a home cooked ROM it might already be installed otherwise grab it from this thread
Page 2 has settings for the top/start bar.

that´s what i am searching for, but the tweak doesn´t work correct. it disturbs the antenna symbol, it cuts one half.
I got the same issue? Any solutions?
Hello all- I am in the market for a new mobile and the P6 is carried by my local carrier and played with it today and must say I love it.
My only very small gripe is with the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen, I am not crazy about it but it is a minor issue, anyway I have seen photos of the P6 and some have the navigation bar and some do not !
Is this perhaps a firmware option or is there some way to make it appear/disappear ?
Any information would be appreciated !!!

actually p6 has function to disappear the navi bar by pressing small down arrow located in the corner of navigation bar.You can make it reappear by swiping up from the bottom.

Depends on firmware
It depends on firmware, from about 107 (I think) that little icon is no longer on the navigation bar, I can also confirm this with Firmware version 111.
But if you check this thread and follow it, you can remove the bar at the bottom.

Dear, it does not depend on firmware. This feature is present in all firmwares but is just hidden (dont know the reason )
You can enable it with a little trick, easier method by following this simple procedure in link :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2453926
Does the 'phone need to be rooted for this to work?

Ah awesome, I didnt see your new thread. Very cool.
So I have this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050293
The thread is closed so I have to ask for help here.
My problem is, I was around messing with some of the settings of the phone and Im 100% shure I didn't did anything that was related to disable the task bar but I clicked somewere and now I can't enable my task bar, it just disapeared, I searched again through the complete phone settings and rom settings in the phone and can't find a way to re-enable the task bar, my secure option would be to reset to factory/reinstall the rom but I would lose some progress on games/all my apps and I for shure don't want that.
Can anyone help me by telling me how I can enable my task bar? I really miss it as it helps a lot.
So i am making my first widget and i am trying to get a progress bar on both side and i did't find a flip module in the settings so i was wondering if there is a way to make the progress bar go in "reverse" if you will. I have looked for how to do this both on google and here and nothing. Hoping someone here can help me or i might have to submit a feature request (filp module) if nothing is currently available to do it.
Never mind if i would of taken an extra second i would of got it....MODS you can delete this so it doesn't waste anyones time...sorry guys...
Hello xda
is there any way to have the navigation bar like the old galaxy tabs, that can orient with screen rotation in all 4side of the screen???????
You know its difficult to use the home, back and recent apps button in only one aide of the screen, and the back button allways disappear in the dark
But if its gonna have the software navigation bar, it will be so much easier to work with. ...,
also i used some app that provides the same nav bar , but it come over the screen and some button hide behind it....,
Thanx alot guys
Try using: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270198
I have used it for a long time now, and I cannot live without it at this point. I love it because it not only follows orientation, but it can auto-hide too. Also, once you have that all squared away there's a tutorial on here somewhere that will show you how to (just by editing your build prop file) disable the hardware buttons all together.
Then, (also on here) there's an app that allows you to totally disable touch iput, except the Spen. Not that you are interested, but oust thought I would share how I have mine setup. Good luck!
