Hello guys,
10 minutes ago my galaxy note N7000 screen cracked in my pocket.
So I need to buy a replenishment screen from Samsung but I simply can't find stores that supplies replenishment parts for it. Do anyone knows where to buy a new Amoled LCD screen for galaxy note ?
Thank you and best regards,
Amid
ebay, took 5 days to ship from HK to NYC. Follow youtube guide in opening the note and use blow dryer/heat gun to loosen the sceen, wedge open with something sharp and slowly tear back the screen gently. You will need the old Wacom sensor from the broken screen so becareful to not to rip it. There is guide in the general section. I broke mine 2 weeks ago and replaced it in a hour. take your time you can get it done.
Thanks man. Just to be sure, the price is about US$ 230,00 for it ? i am not sure if I am looking for the right spare part.

I think this is what you are looking for:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-Black-Dig...087?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c65951cd7
I can try but I don´t think this will help the problem. The screen doesn´t show any images anymore, looks like a broken LCD. When you press it, a lot colors appears around it. Do you believe this is the one I need ?
Thank you and best regards

Hmmm no, in that case you will need the 200ish one.
You will need the entire setup, glass, LCD, and Touch. Does not come with Wacom sensor. Looking around you can get them for 230-260. Look for delivery, that makes a huge difference, especially with your phone out of commission.
This is the guy I purchased mine from, but I panic and purchase the first one I saw. If you do some research you will find cheaper, but I got min in 5 days. So I am glad this guy came thru. Good luck, its going to stress you out a bit when you have to remove the screen from the front panel, they are glued on so take your time. Looks like your LCD broke so it is going to crack and shatter further so make sure you do it in area where it is easy to clean. If you look at the front panel after you remove it, you will see one wire that does not come with the replacement one, that is for the wacom sensor, so be careful and don't damage that part, you will need to peel it off and place it back on to the replacement lcd, otherwise your s-pen won't work. It's been 2 weeks, my phone is going strong and no sensor or sceen issues. You should get a more protective case, since you probably already blew close to ~$1000 on this phone by now. I have a casemate, otterbox commuter looks like a good one. Once again good luck, you can do this.
Please stop advising people to do something that is not meant to be done and can possibly damage their phone even more. And most likely look completely rubbish when assembled.
The correct repair part is a complete display assembly including everything - the glass, digitizer, Wacom digitizer, AMOLED, bezel, frame abd home button. It costs around 260 dollars on eBay and is relatively simple to install. By installing the complete assembly you don't need to worry about separating the glass and AMOLED or about the Wacom digitizer, since they are all included. Just remove the screws, back housing and motherboard, disassemble the audio flex cable and front camera flex from the old display and put them into the new one. Most displays also require the old charger port flex and speaker module to be used.
The correct part looks like this, for example: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=320843198847
Well mine looks brand new, must be the workmanship ;-P But why flame my advise when he is going to need to do it anyways, the screen is completely useless, as was mine. Why don't you keep your assumption to yourself in how it will look or if he is going to ruin the device. If he decides that he would rather live with a crack screen or someone who is willing to do it, there really isn't much options here. What's up with such negative attitude here. Just trying to show him that it can be done.

Replacement screen with 2 connectors
Hello!
First of all I would like to say Thank you for all the resources provided in this forums!
Could someone please help me to find a replacement screen for the International version of the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 with 2 connectors? This phone has the physical home button. All the replacements that I've been able to find have just the first connector. I tried to post a photo hoping to help better explain it, but I can't do it yet.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Hi ,
I think Senior member Justis is right... many of us dont want to do a full screen replacement for 220$...when we can just remove the front screen for 20$..many have done this method successfully... U just need to watch a lot of youtube videos on this and be careful/delicate with the procedure... its possible.
So i dont think what he said was a waste.. Pls keep such remarks to yourself.. He was not wasting anyones time.
Infact you are wasting my time making me read your message and give u a reply.
You know what...im doing a screen replacement too... thats what guys do first. njot jump in and do a full replacement for 220 $.:good::good::good:

Hello
Where may I a replacing screen for my Le Max 2? It has just fallen on the floor and is broken even though the touch screen is still working
thanks
Hope this helps. Check the store feedback before buying.

Good to know it can be done and there are spare parts around.
Always thought it was fatal with these newer "design over everything" phones.

I don't know. Perhaps someone else on the forum has that information. I think they sell original screens but it's best you contact the sellers directly before ordering.

Hi!
Any update since October? I`m facing the same issue. I have googled a bit and found some complaints related to LCDs from Aliexpress claiming that they are no so bright and blurry, sometimes with white spots.
I have also find only a glass replacement https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-7...lgo_pvid=aec8908f-0e28-4202-a650-ab20f3981970
of a glass with digitizer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/for-LeEco-L...966586?hash=item58e23ffdba:g:z4wAAOSw-kdXxPkl
But... also a lot people claims that the LCD is almost inseparable from glass... Do anyone have an experience with only glass replacement?
I found a local service that claims to be able to do that.. but I do not know whether to trust them not destroy the LCD. The said, that they do not have an experience with Le Max 2 but with other phones.
Thanks

If you can get the fast delivery, then you can give it a go. Although it's a risky operation,it might be alright in the end. The service should have some experience if they say that for other brands/phones they have succeeded. It might be ok, but always keep in mind that something might go wrong. And it's not worth waiting 2 months for the glass and another 2 for the display.
Edit: you can google the process and you will see how it's done for other phones. They need to have special devices.

Thanks for such a fast reply. I already did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRqSyZk1SOU It seems to be very tricky. I have relatively fast delivery about 2-3 weeks so I`ll give it a try with only a glass an digitizer http://www.ebay.com/itm/for-LeEco-L...966586?hash=item58e23ffdba:g:z4wAAOSw-kdXxPkl.
I`ll write a review after the whole process is done for future reference
Very difficult. They make it look easy on youtube. I attempted a glass only repair on a nexus 6. You have to have correct amount of heat, and the LCD is very fragile. Too much heat will damage the display, but you need enough heat to soften the loca glue to be able to separate the glass from the lcd.. I even had a scientific dry bath at my disposal to get the right temp.. Not worth a home repair attempt IMO.
Cost of the le max 2 is just the reason I bought this phone (vs a $600+ device) and put on tempered glass from Ali express for less than $2. Will you consider replacing your phone for $200?
My wife broke her tempered glass protector twice on the max 2. Easy fix, just replaced the tempered glass cover. I'm just saying I learned the hard way, on a more expensive Nexus 6. I wasn't aware of tempered glass protectors then. Even after destroying my lcd (by trying a glass-only repair) and ending up buying the lcd+glass assembly, I still didn't get the phone's frame tight with the display assembly to make it acceptable.
I tried to repair lcd once for another phone. It took me 1h just to disassemble the phone, and half an hour more to try to carefully separate lcd from digitizer. I failed and then there was no point spending another hour puting the phone back together and had to throw all those tiny parts to the garbage. Think about this before you try.
Home repairs of such kind are a no go. This is why I encourage him to go to the repair shop where they do that kind of repairs to the screen. They do have a special heated plate with temperature adjustment, a vacuum device that eliminates any bubbles between the lcd and glass, etc. Also do note that not all the repair shops are doing this. Most of them are collecting phones for the specialized shops and charge an extra fee.
In conclusion, this kind of repair is not for everybody, and it would be best done in a specialized repair shop. For reference, check the following video:
I know it's written in romanian and for an Allview, but I guess that most of the things are understandable to get the idea of how complicated the whole process is for any home attempt.
So, after a month in repair center I have my phone back. The screen is an original one with digitizer changed. Between digitizer and screen there are some bubbles, buttons are switched, like back is on a left instead of right and the bugged issue... They are very undeterministic and do not always work and sometimes they work without even touching so... Apps are switching and so on... I needed to disable them and use gestures instead.
The repair was about 40USD and digitizer 15 USD... It is hard to say whether it was worth it or exchange the complete screen.

Replacing the screen + digitiser on this model is pretty easy provided you have access to a hot air gun. Took me about 15 minutes and I'm in NO WAY a pro. For the price of a new screen I definitely wouldn't attempt a digitizer-only repair.

And I can say, It's same as the original one in every detail(Even production date so close). Replacement is very easy with tool that came with screen.
BTW, You have to buy glue(B6000,E7000,T8000 or whatver) for fix it in place.
Hi i just bought a Oneplus 3 but the glass is cracked and have read that you cant just replace the glass itself because its too difficult and would have to replace the whole display.
Has any one done this and found the replacement display to be worse than the original?
Also there are tutorials on Samsungs S7 edge which show how to replace just the glass, would this method work on Oneplus 3? VIDEO LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAdF_hNh358
If you are not experienced with these things, DO NOT attempt replacing such an expensive part yourself as you may damage your whole device. If you like to live dangerously and don't give a fuk to money or damaged phone, this could be a great DIY product.
it's pretty hard, but really isn't impossible if you're experienced. working on my own repair shop, replaced few just the glass, but few also cracked during frame removal (as of hard as stone glue)

Idk about you, but this phone is extremely easy to repair. I've taken this thing apart and its fairly simple. Now when it comes to only glass repairs, that's another story. Without dry ice its near impossible and with dry ice its still somewhat dangerous as the AMOLED panel is fragile as all hell. If you're going to do a glass only repair, do not do like that video shows, it is extremely hard to do with heat, freezing the display completely with dry ice is the way to go.
To answer the OP's question, no one knows. Oneplus does not sell replacement parts so the screens are NOT OEM, but they're probably of similar quality. Why not try it out and see?
haha thanks guys i thought it would be easy just to pull the glass off, i have seen a video on dry ice glass removal but if you guys are saying its near impossible ill just have to buy the replacement LCD off ebay

Well with dry ice its not too hard, you just have to be extremely patient and always keep the glass and adhesive at extreme temperatures. If you're the type of person that's really good at taking things apart and are very delicate with your hands, do the dry ice method. If not buy the LCD (I really hope these aftermarket screens are not actual LCDs) because you will probably break the screen
Have u done the dry ice method?
also i think it has the original screen with cracked glass but i think the Chinese replacement is lower quality but i dont know how bad it is and i am pretty sure their not amoled displays.
There are some web stores such as parts4repair that claim to sell OLED replacement screens for the OP3, though at a much higher price than the Ebay ones of course.

Some phones are quite hard and don't fit together well after taking them apart (galaxy S6 was just stupid) and then there's the OP3, take 2 screws out and pop the entire chassis out of the aluminum back, you can get to the screen pretty easily after and nothing is glued in place with indestructible glue
can one one confirm that parts4repair have amoled displays?
also if i were to do the dry ice method would i need to use uv loca glue before using new glass

There might be, you can't be certain though. If you bought a complete replacement unit for less then $100 USD, it's likely just a cheap LCD panel. There is allegedly a small difference in the cable length for the screen component between the A3000 and A3003 models of the phone. The connector, and physical dimensions of the screens should be identical though.

No none of them are original... You most likely will get a really cheap non oled display. Don't be surprised if the screen cracks in your pocket.. I already have replaced it once on my old phone and I got a fake one and it littery cracked in my pocket.. Thats why I suggest you guys trying to send it to Oneplus first.
I just had my op3 repaired for a cracked screen and aluminum back panel was well. It wouldn't display any picture. Also my volume key was damagedd from the drop so they had to replace the entire back aluminum panel. I could swear the phone is brand new they did a fabulous job. The authorized repair center is in Texas it's Acer repair facility that also did one plus devices for warranty and out of warranty repairs. It's was extremely cheap compared to buying parts yourself. The cheapest I could find for the screen on eBay was asking$115-$120 and who knows the quality. This is original parts at this place. $130 for everything including shipping. The screen would have only been $95 but the extra aluminum back cost me the extra. They also sent a clear thin case with it too free of charge and I actually love the case. It's well worth just sending to one plus and having it fixed right with original parts. Also keep in mind they have a warranty on their repairs. I am extremely happy with the job they did.

I got in touch with Oneplus and told them the phone is second hand and they asked for the IMEI number. They told me that it would cost 87 euros £76 for me and this includes repair of phone and parts including VAT. But they did say that if there were further problems they would fix them but this would be added to the bill.
+1 for sending it into Oneplus, i am sending mine to a authorized repair centre CTDI in poland, so i know that the parts are gonna be original and not a cheap LCD display.

I am still ISO of valuable information on my OP question.
So your post says you need a new screen only, but then you say the LCD digitizer is good. The screen is the digitizer and glass glued together. So it's not very clear what your implication is. But in either case if the glass is broken or the digitizer is messed up your only viable option is to purchase a digitizer with glass assembly and replace yourself. I have done this and you have to buy a special adhesive when you reinstall it.
Okay Google... What does iso mean. It means in search of. Thanks for making me Google your relatively uncommon acronym outside of Reddit to see what it meant.

Actually, it's three layers: screen, digitizer, and glass, but I think you know that. In his case he apparently cracked the glass but the screen still registers touch events. That means the digitizer is still intact.
Getting a hold of Google is best here. Repair costs from them should still be more affordable than trying to do it himself, especially if he's never done it before or doesn't have the right equipment. I don't think Google is going to provide info on where to purchase screens and so on.
There is one guy on the forums who has a blacklisted device. Maybe he will be interested in unloading it, if the price is right.
You'll probably need the whole assembly this is posted on ifixit "

Not that i could find. i ordered a glass replacement and took extra care in removing the lcd screen from the glass and couldn't even get an inch of it off without breaking the lcd. Bottom line you have to replace the glass/lcd screen. i found one online for around 250.00 somewhere." You're better off going to ubreakifix and they'll do it for you for around $200~.
I was hopeful the assembly was not all or nothing. I replaced by Note 2 screen a few millenia ago. It sounds like it's an entire front end is needed?

I never cracked anything. It's smudgy and it's driving me crazy.

They have glass replacement only for like 40-50 on some websites. But it seems the major difficulty even the repair websites are facing is separating the display from the glass. I do see some glass replacement only options but I don't think they're OEM sadly.

An oem digitizer+glass is about $150. That blacklisted phone he paid $300 for it, so he's screwed either way. The board isnt worth anything because of its status. And I wasn't going to get to technical with someone who has problems with basic sentence syntax. He doesn't need to worry about glass replacement of the digitizer because it's similar to a thin foil glued to the glass. You'd need a machine to replace that.
If and when anyone replace any parts on this phone, like a screen, digitizer, frame or just anything, please share your experience here, thanks!
As I understand it, the original water resistance won't be relevant after tear-apart. Some impervious will be lost. The disassembly is more involved than most, in the past. I, myself, may be looking at getting a better phone via trade-in. Gone are the days, for the most part, of servicing the phone for a battery, to keep things going. I'll still monitor the posts about the phone, but things have gotten to where 'root' isn't much of a benefit anymore.

I'm in the process of getting a new screen, a frame and a battery. Right now the cost for the screen, digitizer and frame is around $175. Batter $7. There's pretty good instructions out there, so shouldn't be a problem.
Didn't you start this thread to share info when sourcing replacement parts?
Where are you sourcing the screen, frame and battery you mention in your post?

This is what I'm looking at right now. Been looking around a lot and those two seams OK and I'm going to wait for the price (screen) to drop a bit more. It was $150 a month ago.

I will try this screen protector:

It's similar to Dome Whitestone, but a fragment of the price. About $4 compared to $40...

Beware 'cheap' prices! Potential bad fit/poor adhesion. If they have a good return policy, go for it, otherwise, next company.

If the image under the glass is broken and the touch panel is NOT then you only need an LCD.
If the top touch panel or (glass top) is cracked or broken but the image under it is fine then you only need the Touch Panel (relatively cheap).
If the top touch panel is broken and the lcd image is either black liquid or cracked you need a complete screen.
To be honest it's probably easier to get the combined parts to avoid having to separate LCD from digitizer and risk a failure. Since the digitizer is fused to the LCD you would need some special tools to remove the digitizer to ensure success. Separating the assembly with heatguns, etc. isn't that easy.
My advice: invest in replacing the complete assembly to ensure success.
Positively surprised
The Akcoo "doomglass" fits perfectly and I struggle really hard to even see my cracked screen underneath. Remember, this was $3.50 on Aliexpress! Will still go for a new screen later though. I'll keep you posted regarding the quality of the screen protector...

Nice! These protectors with the UV glue are the only ones that work good on curved screens, had one on my V30, but now need it for my V40. The source I was going to use is currently away for Chinese New Years.. May I ask how long it took to ship to you?
Thanks

3 weeks, hehe... Might have been a boat ride. Don't mind really for that price
Screen price is down to $121 now, but I'll wait a bit longer
Old thread but you can find demo models on eBay for around $70. Just use the original charge port flex. Then you get the cameras and a new (used) battery too
