Replaced screen and digitizer pen works, not finger - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Just replaced the screen and digitizer on my note 2. The s pen works great. However the bottom section of the phone doesn't work with the touch of a finger. Basically where the lower level icons would be on the homescreen above the dock. Any suggestions?

There is the digi and the s pen flex.... Probably either a defective digi or the flex is damaged

The circle doesn't appear no more when I put my s pen near the screen ?

Hello every one,
The little circle who use to appear like a mouse cursor doesn't appear anymore, why that?

Settings, S-Pen, Air view. Check if that is on. If it is it might be a issue with you pen.

Screen shots?

Do we have screen shot capability with our note 2? I hope this isn't a dumb question.

Press power and home button or take your Palm and swipe across the screen.

Hold the button on the pen, touch the screen for a second or two (don't move around).

S-pen & lock screen

Is it normal for the lock screen to unlock itself by detaching s-pen ??

Yes.
The same thing happens if you plug in an earphone or put it in a smart dock.

Dark spots on amoled screen.

Just got this device, noticed a few dark spots on the screen in low brightness. No issues but a little annoying. Can Samsung change it?

No if i think what it is it is a form of glue. It is normal. There is no screen without it

Touch control?

Is there anything similar to Touch Control for S4? So far, to my knowledge, it's only available for the nexus devices. If you don't know what Touch control is, it's an app that let's you turn your phones screen on by sliding your screen to the right while it's off (or other gestures).
**So basically something that lets your turn your phone's screen on without touching any physical button
