if you don't mind loosing some stuff, since you are all stock and unmodified you best bet would be a factory reset...
You can do that in settings > backup and reset
or
if you can't turn it on go into bootloader by holding power and volume down and using the volume buttons to navigate and power button to select choose factory reset

I am a bit worried because it's a new phone and not rooted or anything.Have no ideea what went wrong.
PS: I'm not a noob when it comes to android.I had some other phone which i rooted changed kernels and etc , used RUT and so on.But no ideea what to do now.
after charging it 20mins it turned on but it's blocked at HTC one logo .and under i have the beataudio logo.
Any help please ?
Return for warranty

no more warranty ...
Then unlock it and flash a custom rom, best chance in fixing it.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Then unlock the bootloader and wipe everything with a custom recovery...
If that doesn't help, try a custom rom, but be sure to first check if a data wipe as well as a wipe of cache and dalvik cache helps.
And no mater what make a nanroid of the stock rom.
Now the phone doesn't start at all . . . neither is the red light on when i try to charge it . i've been chargin it for ~2hours now...
Any luck at booting the phone ?

charged it all night.nothing in this morning.
no red light no nothing...
It just won't start in any way.
Olso , could this be because maybe , just maybe , i did not install the official update corectly ?
Could this happen because of that ?
I went to a service and they told me they must "rewrite the boot" . can't find anything about that `tho.
I'm from another country and i exactly translated that they said.
what does that mean ?
Could mean all sorts of things, they may flash the bootloader or only the boot.img (kernel) maybe they run a ruu.......can only guess on that.
Did they say something about battery failure and costs ?

I didn't see the option power button+voldown, if I'm not mistaking that is the way to get into fastboot.

Yeah at this point he needs to get somewhere in the phone. Or in android or in bootloader/recovery !
It doesn't start at all. Apart from the keep it on charge and try all button combinations there is absolutely nothing we can do.

Hi all,
My DHD is bricked (I think).
I turned off the DHD and never restart.
When I try to access to the recovery the phone vibrate 3 times and nothing on the screen.
When I send : "adb devices" it replies HT0xxxxxxxxxxx recovery.
I tried adb restast recovery but it is the same result: vibrate 3 times and orange blinking, nothing on the screen.
The HBOOT driver is installed and in the peripheral manager my DHD appears : android USB devices
What can I do ??
Help me please and sorry for my bad English !!
What eactly did you do with your phone before this happened?. Is it rooted?

Are you sure it was a battery problem? Coz my phone's vibrating 3 times as well.
In another forum, their phone supposedly vibrates 7 times, and theyve got a motherboard problem.
I just wanna know if mine is a problem with battery! :/
I plugged my DHD in USB port in pc this morning and nothing popped up on screen like it normaly does like HTC Sync Disk Drive internet pass through etc. It just only seems to charge. I have tried hard resetting phone i have even reverted back to original vodafone stock rom and still nothing. I have tried multiple cables.

Go to device manager on the pc (just search for it when you click start) plug in your phone and wait to see it appear in the list there. Then right click and update drivers. Happened to me a couple of weeks back on my DHD.

Hi I've the same issue after hot restart, hung at h-boot. So I hard reset, restore boot using clockworkmod, then reboot. The same happened.
I am using Android Revolution HD 7.0.4 with RCMIX3D kernel
guys try usb storage in recovery. if it works, it means it is software(kernel and/or rom). if not, probably hardware. i would say return to stock, but i think you need adb to do that... search for info on that, there are several topics discussing it
edit: about cable: in general it has 4 pins. 2 fow power and 2 for comunication. if it charges, doesnt mean nothing
Hi, I've solved the issue! it happened when u using non stock launcher (other than Sense). if you clear default, set it back to Sense, it just work!
That's kind of strange though.... should word work any launcher...

no there is no recovery not rooted. he was using original stock firmware.
Maybe a brief description of the events leading up to the current state of the phone would help.
If he ain't rooted I would suggest to contact htc or his carrier support. If he got his phone for less than two weeks ago he can go to his carrier and change it. It's htc policy.

Edit: phone has international warranty for one year. but it takes here for 3-4 months.

May be the power supply damaged? Have you try to recharge with another?
hello, so my phone turned off after the battery finished normally but after that it was accidentally turned back on several times by the power button being pushed from my pocket. now it shows a red led when plugged in and after a while it turns on the off when it reaches the lock screen i dont know what to do please help
I am having trouble comprehending (sorry)
But what i understand is:
Your phone FINISHED charging and then it turned off (by itself? or did you do it?). While in off mode, it was turned on (but what u mean several times?)
And the red LED means low charge :/ and it reboots and turns off at the lock screen etc
Anyway:
I would recommend reflashing the firmware, only if you have enough battery to do so

thanks for the reply but no thats not what i mean. what i mean is my phones battary is 0% and when i put it to charge it charges for 2 min then turns back on but when it reaches the lockscreen it wont have enough battary so it automatically turns off and the process repeats
Yeah i had that problem too dont panic. If ur on a custom kernel, put the phone on charging, when led is red, phone off.Keep the phone in ur hands for 10 - 15 min. When kernel logo appears and led is pink press the volume up button.Flash other kernel in recovery.
There z no other method except this, even fastboot will not work
Press Thanks

This has happen to me kany times, this is what you do:
-First charge it when its off untill it boots
-Then do a hard power off (vol + until three vibrations)
-once its off plug in your charger and it will enter offline charging and just let it charge till about 20%
-Then you can turn it on

No its usually a kernel problem, as many others have had this problem before. What kernel and ROM/firmware are you using? Nova kernel has such a problem for offline charging.

I've got a dead xperia s, I only have the red led as mentionned in a few other threads.
Nothing is happening when i press the power + volume up or down keys.
I've been trying the sus tool as mentioned with rubber band trick for a few hours but without result.
the red light stays on, after a while it disappears (no led at all) and returns.
Is there anything else I can try.
I've also read I must discharge the battery, but how can I discharge it without turning the phone on ?
One time I did get the green led, but it failed beceause no driver was found.
How did this happen? What have you done before hand?

maybe now your xperia s is discharged
doesn't it charge when connected with pc ?
not in fastboot mode, and if you connect your xperia s normally and nothing appears, you need to charge your battery outside of xperia s
Remove battery, put charger, put battery back. And yes, you will void your warranty.
what good would do the charger after removing the battery ?
It will give the battery a voltage shock.
How can it give a voltage chock when I first need to remove the battery ?
I have also read the disconnecting the flex cable from the mainboard could be a solution, does it need to be the flex cable or is removing the battery enough ?
Remove it. Put it back in. Start charging it and then the voltage tweak is going to happen. But removing the battery it's not easy, I do not recommend to do it,maybe at an authorized center.
