Hope I am not repeating the same question.
I've got gt-n7102i several days ago and looked for how to root it. (want to use play store, market unlocker etc).
There are some tutorials regarding n7102 but not for n7102i.
As I know, n7102i is a variant version of n7102 but I am not quite sure that if I can apply the same way of n7102.
Please help me if anyone of you knows about it.

Hi, I am planning on getting a desire today, it is cdma (doesn't use sim cards). I would like to know, is it possible to root it? if so, could you please give me a link to do it?
thanks
Yes, I believe you can root cdma. Should be a forum here.
Check for the Bootloader version - if it is the latest 1.06 or higher, then not yet.
Please help me guys!!:crying::crying:
I've got SGN2 GT-N7102i which supports dual sim function.
I read some of articles and tutorials of rooting of N7102 but not N7102i.
If any of you did rooting of N7102i, please let me know if I can apply the same rooting way of N7102.
I purchased this unit for Christmas, it's barely used since a lot of apps aren't supported. Will rooting help? Has anyone done it?
This is a Kurio Xtreme Tablet,
Model C14100
Android 4.4.2
Let me bump this thread because I am in need of root method for this same device, model, and firmware.
EDIT... This is solved already so here's the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2975096

all models did have that issue...and a freind of min tells me to buy the international version ''D855'' and of course i search for it and i fund some d855 owners did have this problm too
PLEASE HELP! what model i should buy ?? or should i go with the D855!
ps: am from algeria (north africa)
thnx
About bootloop issue, there is none.Only some lg "G4" were having this issue and not "G3".
Those g3s you found having this problem would be rooted and running some custom roms or kernels.
So don't worry about it and get the d855 variant.

you don't need the d855 - just be sure to buy one that's already unlocked or unlock it yourself before you flash to a custom firmware.
you can get it unlocked for about 10$....or a bit over that. check out unlockcellphonecode.org/shop/network-unlock-codes/lg-sim-unlock-codes/lg-g3-network-unlock-code/
i got my g5 unlocked there in about 10 minutes.
Morning, everyone.
I'm in Japan and just got the X2 H4233 variant. Seems like AOSP isn't supported for this variant (I looked all over Akihabara for an American or international phone, but to no avail.) anyhow, what are my options for rooting and ROMS? I'd really like plain old Android.
Thanks!
You should try the AOSP made for H3113, many people reported that also worked for other variants as H3123
Thanks! I just checked out the thread and it might not work. H4233 is a dual sim model, so I may have to wait until someone builds one for this variant or at least one with dual sim.
On the bright side, I learned that I can unlock the bootloader, so I should be able to root it. However, I'm still not even sure if I can install TWRP.
Also you can ask in the forum if someone else tried with the same variant that you have
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xa2-ultra/help/unlocking-bootloader-rooting-t3762968/page20
In this forum, you can read that the TWRP for XA2 works on the XA2 Ultra, probably will in your variant and also there are instructions how to root your phone
Seems someone recently tried it and it works. That's one step closer!
Oops. Double post.
