Do you have S-OFF? Cause it can only be done if you have S-OFF!
Use "fastboot oem writecid 00000000" to write it to 00000000

Duh, your CID will be 00000000
CID 0_44 is not a valid CID as far as I know? Don't you mean HTC__044?

@bootloader SYSTEM INFO i also see CID = 1111111
but when i run Android and i read my CID via adb or CID Getter app there is still the CID = VODAP110....
the 1.000.000 million dollar question now is: can i load (with this config) HTC OTA updates or must i still waiting of updates from my provider?

In MOST cases once you do these changes you loose the ability to do OTA
Why have you done this is you still feed the need to stick with the stock rom?

I can't remember where I read it, but this is a known issue, but the SYSTEM INFO is the one that interferes with your ability to flash new radios so don't panic

Technically they are all right, but the important one is the bootloader one, which tells the phone in bootloader mode that it's unbranded. As i said earlier it's a known issue and being worked on so currently your stuck with the different CIDs
An Android known issue or an Htc / operator branding one? I'd like to know right know
Anyway I solved, installing a stock ROM 1.32.x, visionary+ permroot and one tool eng s-off. SystemInfo appeared into menu.
Hey, I'm trying to get CID so I can upgrade my firmware but I can't get the CID of my phone. I've tried 'fastboot getvar cid' and CID Getter but neither work. From what I understand, CID Getter is supposed to show the CID above the 'Exit' button but it doesn't. I've attacked the screen shots of what it shows. The bootloader is unlocked but not S-OFF.
fastboot oem readcid
Also, more usefully:
fastboot getvar version-main
'fastboot oem readcid' did it. Thanks!
just out of curiosity what was your cid?
HTC__621
Here is how I did it:
You need:
- Fastboot (from Android SDK)
- This file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9aay5ktvtyqci4j/firmware.zip
- Your "Unlock_code.bin" file
Do the following:
- Boot into the bootloader (if you don't know how please don't try to do the other steps)
- Check your CID and compare it to the list on the bottom of this post: "fastboot oem readcid"
- Check your version with "fastboot getvar version-main"
- Lock the bootloader " fastboot oem lock"
- Reboot into RUU: "fastboot oem rebootRUU"
- Flash the file attached to this post: "fastboot flash zip firmware.zip"
- A message tells you that the flash failed and that things are broken: Don't panic!
- Execute the command "fastboot flash zip firmware.zip" again!
- Reboot into bootloader: "fastboot reboot-bootloader"
- Unlock your bootloader "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin"
Done!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR PHONE! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I used a dutch HTC One X with S-ON and CID "HTC__E11"
I used the following firmware.zip from the following OTA update: http://androidfiles.org/ruu/securekey.php?file=Endeavor/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.18.401.1-3.14.401.31_R_release_308291aozis6kzu7ls9js6.zip
I found the update on: http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?developer=Endeavor
Good luck!
Do only use when your CID matches:

11111111

44444444

Hmmm not much a difference between 1.36 and 1.39 though
I've changed my CID to Supercid with "fastboot oem writecid 11111111"
In bootloader it seems to be OK, but the CID Getter app allways shows me my old CID.
Scrolling down the CID Getter i can see an "ro.cid" whith the old CID value.
In the One M7 there was an hidden CID, not easy to change. Maybe in M9 is too?
Yes, the CID is stored in more than one place. But it doesn't really matter.
just have my One M9 with android marshmallowand iwant to update my ROM from 3.35.617.31 to 4.14.617.6 as they said in Updater but i keep have an error message and insist that my device have unofficial rom need help... ASAP
my device info :
HTC One M9
S-OFF
Build Version : 3.35.617.31 CL6696696 Release keys 1474864159
update version : 4.14.617.6 (1.21 GB) /as they said in updater/
i've try to update with RUU.exe (RUU_HIMA_UL_N70_SENSE80_ATT_MR_NA_Gen_Unlock_4.14.617.6) but it doesnt work have an error message "please download the correct RUU file"
try update with OTA_HIMA_UL_N70_SENSE80_ATT_MR_NA_Gen_Unlock_4.14.617.6_R-3.35.617.31_release_490897lkj8xif5v3eoiykd_4 have an error message that i have the "incorrect CID"
thank you..
Change your CID to BS_US001 and MID to 0PJA11000 then the ruu will work.
You're S-OFF so it's simple to change, just boot in download mode and use: "fastboot oem writecid BS_US001" and "fastboot oem writemid 0PJA11000"
