My Evo 4g is is currently running ICS.
I want to use it with HdmWln and the only option for it I think is to downgrade it to use Froyo or Gingerbread.
Can anyone help?
Not sure how to do that and what to download.
Look for myn's warm 2.2 ROM

But how do I do it?
Do I just install the rom and that's it?
Can you please send me a link to the discussion list I couldn't find it

Hi everyone, I've been looking for a stock ROM that I can flash through clockwork mod, I dont have a backup anymore due to my house burning down about 1 week and a half ago. It would really help if someone could link me to a rooted rom that has the latest build for sprint along with the latest kernel, or to let me know if I can even return back to stock without losing root and using a PC
Thanks guys

Thanks! Will do
But isn't that a custom ROM? I was looking for a just plain stock ROM, thats flashable through cwm

That is a stock rooted ROM with no extras. That is the latest android version.it is just like the ota update that would come from sprint. If you don't want to be rooted anymore than you Odin back to stock

Thanks dude, freakb18c1 sent me a link to a complete stock rooted ROM on sextape's site, but it was also uploaded here in xda as well. Here's the link for future reference for anyone else that's looking as well

is there a way to edit my build.prop to trick the android market to think i am using a stock rom?
only for non-rooted
I installed yet states only for non-rooted devices...

Are you on the stock ROM or a different one?

If CM10.2 there are some issues with playstore recognizing the device. Had this happen on a lot of apps.

i tried another gapps, still can not see it in the store, and if i try to install via a PC it says it can't be installed on any of my devices
also tried last night to transfer over the binaries and other files the stock rom along with the build.prop, but all it did was stop the phone from booting.
does anyone know where I can find the stock rom for 8.4? I rooted that device yesterday and today the wifi is kinda unreliable and playstore does not work...
(yes I did no backup, no idea how I'm new to android and those devices)
Look in the root thread or just Google it. That is how I found it. ☺
