UPDATE: Solution found
I was able to get the administrator of the "Good" application at my company to push out a policy for android users to force a longer password. This forced a new password when I opened the application and corrected the problem.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.
I installed an app (Good for Enterprise) to be able to access work email/etc. During setup it required me to set a device password. I set it, through the Good application, but only set it to a 2 character password. I have since uninstalled the application and now I can not change my password. When I attempt to change it I am alerted that password must be 4 characters. Thankfully the device still locks and unlocks with the 2 character password but I was hoping to change it.
Can I mod a file directly to change password or full in thinking it is not set?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I need to a HttpWebRequest to send a Post/Get Request to a SSL secured web site. But, the SSL certificate is not one of the installed ones, so the phone cannot really connect to the server, and just throws a "not found"-exception. When I download the certificate, send it to my phone via email and install it, it works. No here is my question: how can I fix this, or circumvent the ms restrictions.
If you have an idea, please tell me...
Issue a certificate from 3rd party authority and do not use self signed certificates. You can buy certificate from VerySign for example for your WebServer.
You can't use StartSSl free certificate because Root authority of the StartSSL servers is not installed in our devices.
Because VerySign certificates are very expensive you can try GeoTrust or RapidSSL
It is not possible to change the certificate because the server, to where i want to send the request is a wifi router, with a self signed ssl certificate...
There is no way to circumvent the cert check via code. The only thing you can do is to install the cert on the phone.
Hi all,
we've just installed a radius server at work which works with a certificate on the client side, I'm trying so hard to get my galaxy to connect to the network but I'm having no luck.
I've tried installing the certificate but I'm not 100% sure its installed.
The security for this network displays on my phone as WEP so when I try connect it asks for a password
On my computer I don't get prompted with any password it just automatically connects.
Anyone experienced the same issue and managed to fix this?
Hi,
I set up a VPN (Android 4.4.2), but for security reasons it is only possible with PIN or password. How to select other security options, like an unlock pattern?
Any ideas?
I have a question about VPN and certificate installation. My phone is H818P and I'm on stock android 6. If I want to set up a connection to a VPN (home server), the table with the settings covered by the unlock pattern - I type the pattern (correctly) but the table with settings disappears - this is repeated all the time. Same problem for android 5.1.
My other problem is installing the certificate for AdCleaner - the installation requires a pattern + pin (the pin needs to be created whenever I create a pattern). When installing a certificate, I enter the pattern and pin correctly, but the pin returns my phone as faulty and the installation does not take place. Same problem with Android 5.1.
Android 7 (v29a) is working correctly. Unfortunately, I can not use this version because it is not possible to shoot video at 60fps (V10 camera port does not work). Is there any possibility to shoot in android 7 videos at 60 fps - some hack stock applications?
I am sorry for my bad English
