Only 2 things wrong that I can see...
1. The fold is on the bottom so I would have to cut a hole to charge if I want it charging closed closed.
2. The case has magnets in each corner and it tricks the tablet into thinking the s-pen has been removed turning ON the tablet when the case is closed so either you can: remove the bottom right magnet, load a non-TW rom, or remove the s-pen apks

The s-pen has a magnet inside it and once it goes into the tablet it interacts with the tablets magnet.

I can confirm that this case is almost useless due to the magnets in the flap. It constantly tricks my Note into thinking the S-Pen is removed and causes the screen to unlock. It's too bad because I think the material and the case feels ok.

I'm using cyanogen mod and the s-pen still works without turning on the tablet.

I bought this case because it is exactly what I wanted.. A snap in back and a trifold slim front. I have not experienced the problem you guys are reporting with the spen censor being triggered when the case is closed, HOWEVER, if I have the cover flush against the back of the case, that is when the magnet triggers the censor. This doesn't bother me since it doesn't affect the tablet when the case is closed and when I have it open I usually like to keep it folded in the triangle and it doesn't trigger the censor that way. Hope this helps.

The SPEN sensors on my Note are triggered when the case is closed and when the flap sits against the back. The ONLY time the screen isn't unlocked by the magnets in the case is when the flap is folded in a triangle.

Review: tpu case with flip lid.

Just purchased this from china along with a few other cases, this is probably the first tpu case with a flip lid similar to those leather one's, this case has a slightly grainly rubbery finished.
Not bad, looks tough/protective. Although I dislike rubbery covers, since I use my phone in my pocket. It makes them harder to get out and pick up link.

It has a soft grainy finish, so sliding it in and out of my jeans pocket without any problem.
Love the button cut outs...but case looks a bit too thick for my personal for my liking. Thanks for sharing though.

Hi there, have the link for the cover? Thanks!
Thanks for the review. I was checking one of these out on the ebay. Does the flap stay flat? Does it come open a lot?

S-pen staying in place

I had the original note and it seemed the s-pen would almost click in place seemed a much stronger hold. Is anyone elses note 2 seem like s-pen can slide out really easy?

The S-Pen on mine Note 2 doesnt seem to "click" in place. It seemed a bit loose to me at first, but I tried my hubbies N2, and it was the same looseness/feeling.
It isn't 'loose' by any means and it wouldnt fall out by itself. Just slides in and out easily.

I actually have a question about its tip. The end tip looks like a little loose in mine so when it touches the screen the tip gets into the pen. I am not sure it is defective. Please check yours to see if the tip is firm and not moving in and out. Thanks.

The tip going in and out is how the pen can detect the level of pen pressure you place onto the screen. It's the same design as a wacom drawing tablet (which is where Samsung went and got their digitizer technology from).
Is this pen's fit will become loose if you use it too much? I am kinda afraid to use alot.

Cases with magnets

Hi I ordered a case online for my note 10.1 and after a bit of googling I saw that some had problems after using their case with a magnetic fastener that areas of the screen the s pen wouldn't respond to.
Just want to know if this is true and will my new note be safe if I use this case or should I change it for one without a magnet?
Think I'll remove the magnets and add a button or strap just to be safe

I have the official Samsung case for the note 10.1. It has magnets in it. Never had any problems, bought the case day 1 with the Note. Doubt Samsung would put magnets in the official case if they messed with the screen, just a thought.
No I got a case from Ebay and it has magnets I had the same doubt but it does not effect the device in anyway the SPEN is not affected in even the minutes way. The magnet are very low powered onces anyways

I did some searching and found that people with the original note phone had problems with the middle of the phone not recognizing the pen http://www.esphoneblog.com/2012/01/28/problem-with-samsung-galaxy-notes-s-pen/ and

I have the battery cover that has the flap that covers the front of the phone and was wondering if there's a case to go over the battery cover part to protect the back of the phone.

Was looking for the same solution myself.... Haven't found it yet, either....
Maybe taking a clear TPU case and trimming it so there's still some corner protection on the hinge side....
My bad thought you wanted a case that covers the back and has a flap.

It could be done with an original samsung case, but you need to cut the left side to accomodate the flip. This ahs been done with the Note 2...

Is there some kind of magnetic closure? So that when i hold the phone upside down, the front part doesn't open?
Nope, it just flops open... Try a rubber band...

Got the FlipBook today and it is a very nice sleek case. The cover is heavy so it closes very nicely. It lookes luxury. It fits mutch better than the original HTC flipstand cover I have. The original I like to both it's a bit to loose in my opinion.
Got the clear Poetic case to that one fits so tight that it hard to get it of again. It's very nice.
Came with a letter from Poetic that all costumers how both one will get a free update in may because the remote control does not work with the case because of block by white button.

I've had it for about a week. Very nice fit and finish. Very slim. As one poster mentioned, there's no mechanism to keep the flap closed (no magnet or snap). There's a fair chance it'll flap open if dropped and not provide much protection. However, I got this case primarily to protect the glass face in my pocket etc. and it's definitely less slippery than the naked phone.
:good:
Was browsing around and just saw this. Costs much more, but someone might be interested.

I have the same one on my n10,however this doesn't. There's an application called smart cover which works quite well.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I've been using the Poetic FlipBook case for about 2 weeks now. It's great -- the cover is heavy enough that it stays shut except when upside down, and is nice because I can 'swing' it open with one hand with a little force.
I usually take my phone out of it at night or at work (I have a dock for work) - it pops right out if you peel back 2 corners, but holds it very sturdy otherwise. I've dropped the phone once, and it protected the corner that hit the table - better yet, it didn't leave a single mark.
The cover and back feel nice to the touch, and it's nice not worrying about using a screen protector or anything when it's in my pocket. Adds very little weight to the phone.
I like my phone naked, but if I'm out and about, that's not exactly 'smart' so this case keeps the phone classy, gorgeous, and has a practical application. Just make sure not to get sand or something on the inner front cover!
Do you guys find the cover lays flat when shut even after being folded backwards during phone use? I have a Nilkin flip case on my Nexus and after fold it backwards it wont lay flat when closed anymore. I just ordered the flipbook for the m7 and am going to be really bummed if it suffers from the same problem.
