copy the file to the windows directory, it will prompt you to overwrite, just follow through

when I tried to overwrite in the windows directory it says access is denied. Solution?

Use something like TotalCommander or Resco. The winmo file explorer won't let you do a thing.

the logo can be easily found on google images, search google for 'windows logo png'
the font is Tahoma, sorry i did not create a psd

Anybody know where to get this wallpaper? I have been googling for an hour...
actually I have a ROM that includes the wallpaper but I can't find it anywhere in the .zip folder. If you could just tell me where the wallpapers store on the ROM .zip folder I can rip it from there...

Extract Launcher.apk, look in /res/drawable for donut or below and /res/drawable-mdpi and /res/drawable-hdpi for eclair.

My ICS Theme for JVZ Deodexed

This is just a quick, basic ICS theme put together with icons and sounds
framework-res and systemUI have been changed a little to look more like ICS
(some stuff was taken from vectress, thanks)
and I'm using the ICS launcher (you dont have to though)
with battery percentage (thanks to darky's team from the ota app)
Changed the dialer a little bit and the the notification background wallpaper,
also includes the low battery camera hack thanks to M_J_Nazari
Also added ringtones, alarm sounds, and notification sounds from the Galaxy Nexus (and a few essential video game sound effects in the notification sounds too )
Please note that I made this theme for myself, just playing around with the phone in general, and thought that I'd share it with you. I wont take any requests to change things, sorry (You can do it yourself, its actually quite easy)
Install
copy file to sd card (internal) of phone, then turn off phone
Start phone in recovery mode, choose install zip from SD card, flash, reboot
Or you can use the darkyrom ota app - go to the general tab, then 'flash/install file from sdcard,' navigate to file and flash

I tried to install the zip, but cwm told me that the file can not be opened (Bad). With other files there is no problem. Any idea? I am on a deodexed rom (jvz) and downloaded the file twice.

[Guide]Change rom logo in about phone

Hi,
This is a small (maybe) guide for changing rom logo in about phone (Settings).
Ok lets get started.
Requirements: x-plore file manager http://www.mediafire.com/download/zeckscfoy6c7zox/X-plore.apk
Any photo editor which can conver images into . Png format. ( i use pixler express)
Instructions:
1.First using photo editor convert the photo which u want to use. Make sure the resulution of that image is as low as possible.
2. copy the Settings.apk from system/priv-app to root folder of sdcard.
3. Open x-plore and browse for Settings you copied earlier in second tab (reffer screen shots in 2nd post)and long press on It and select open apk as zip.
4. Goto res/ and browse for the original rom logo and rename your image exactly as original logo.
5. Copy your image into the folder where original logo is.
6. Now you have to sign the moded Settings.apk for that open original Settings.apk as zip from system /priv-app, and copy the meta-inf and android mainfest.xml to moded Settings.apk.
7. Now push your Settings.apk into system /priv-app /Settings.
8 reboot.done

If the rom has image in Settings already in about phone It will work. As far as i know there is no image in carbon rom

you can install without root, someone said that you can install the theme, apply it, and then disable the theme store from application manager, worked for him.

How to install:
1) You should be rooted.
2) Install the theme, wait for it to show in the themes. DO NOT APPLY.
3) Use any Root file manager and go to /data/overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson
4) you should see a file called "siddheshpatil.octane.json"
5) cut that file i.e move that file from trialjson to userjson in jsonfiles.
6) Reboot your device.
7) apply the theme.
P.S. you can use this method to apply any trial theme permanently.

That's just some random wallpaper I put, I will use the one I made originally with this theme in some other theme (that I may sell).
