Hello
I have rooted and installed CM10.1, Android 4.2.2 and have been running without issue. However, I picked up a HDMI cable and when plugged in I do have a mirrored screen, but it will display as a landscape at a 90* angle. I am unable to figure out how to rotate the image clockwise 90* so it will be correct. Is anyone else having this problem? I have looked through the settings and still coming up short.
Please help.
Thanks

Hi guys
has anyone else experianced a flickering every now and then when using the media link accessory. It occurs every few seconds and caused the picture to bounce, with a usually green band on the bottom part of the screen. Ive started to use zoom to get rid of the banding on my tv - not ideal and the boucing is still there.
this is occuring on all my videos, using both mobo and gallery.
Ive got samsung plasma 50 inch tv, it also occurs on my 23inch led sammy and my 40inch sammy lcd (older tv). ive fiddled with my networks and cannot get rid of the problem, i think there maybe an issue with the firmware on the device but need other people to say they are also having this issue before i go to htc.
thanks guys

On the road using my HOX
I don't quiet understand this question and I think i have seen this problem else where. Do you mean when you record videos using your phone in landscape mode, It does not rotate? Please elaborate. Have you tried G-sensor calibration, restart phone and factory reset? Could be software issue.
EDIT: Interesting... This problem appeared in my phone too. Seems like in Jelly Bean update some bug bugging G-sensor. I took a photo and went to 'Gallery' to view it. So when my phone was not in landscape mode, the picture was in landscape, and when in that, it went portrait. I hope this is the same problem as yours. I will keep up to date when i find solution.
Hello everyone,
I have a pretty big problem with the accelerometer on my S3. I'm running stock jelly bean, not-rooted.
The problem is that the sensor data is always way wrong. Using bubble level apps the phone always has to be tilted to an extreme angle to get the correct reading (holding the phone in portrait it has to be 45 degrees to the right for the bubble to be centered). This makes playing accelerometer based games impossible.
Calibrating from the motion menu does not work.
Factory reset did not work.\
Can anyone please help me with this?

My problem is pretty much the same as this person's, except they have a different device/ the problem wasn't resolved

Any ideas? Does anyone else have this problem?

Given what you've said it sounds more like its your hardware, as much as it sucks you might need a replacement.
Hi all. I just bought an mhl (hdmi adapter) for my galaxy nexus.
I'm searching everywhere to find how to force portrait mode when the phone is connected to the tv.
I already tried to lock rotation and some apps to lock rotation but none of them works.
I have tried with a samsung galaxy s2 and it works (the screen just follows the phone rotation), but with the galaxy nexus the screen is ALWAYS in landscape mode.
I really think that this is a kernel-related problem... i have franco kernel at the moment.
What do you think? Many thanks
Hey guys, running the latest lineage 14.1, and for several months I've been experiencing this annoyance where if I long click something, the screen will rotate 90°. I've done several full wipes but no improvement. I know the sensor is fine though because when I physically rotate the tablet the screen orients correctly. Any guesses? Thanks.
