I have a Note 2 that's been rooted and running mike1986's excellent Android Revolution HD 19.0 ROM. For some reason Google's Android Device Manager can't see it or contact it. It saw it exactly once a couple of weeks ago, then never again. However Google ADM sees my Samsung Note 8 tablet without any problem.
Anyone having the same problem? Ideas? Cures?

You need to activate Google services in Google settings app... and an Internet connection on your device

Hey Guys,
I just got my LG P500/Optimus one hooked with MOTO360.
And well i am loving it.
Installed
cm-11-P500-Ver 12-as was made available on below thread (Thanks for this thread)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52827619&postcount=1540
Earlier was running Android 4.2 with CM
Upgraded Google play services to latest available on Playstore.
Upgraded Google search
Tried various APK for Android wear but the only one below worked for me
com.google.android.wearable.app-1.0.2.1476973-201476973-minAPI18.apk
(http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...ted-play-services-for-wearables-apk-download/)
While installing android wearable apk data and wifi was kept off.
On installing encountered multiple times with error of Upgrade Google search
Thus uninstalled android wear and upgraded Google search and then re-installed android wear.
It took around 10 minutes for MOTO360 to allocate and give permission to my device LGP500 sync each other.
And bingo i got loaded both ways.
Although not all features are working but at a satisfactory level notifications on MOTO360 are received like
Call, sms, google now card.
Due to limited memory available on P500 couldn't do more with 360.
I need to port MOTO360 with my HTC desire700, but its running 4.1.2 not rooted. Any help on the same??
HTC only 5 month old.

Having trouble transfering SMS messages from an iPhone 5 to a new Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
SPECIFICATIONS & VERSIONS IN PLAY:
OLD PHONE: iPhone 5 (iOS Version 8.1.1)
NEW PHONE: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910A)
MacBook Pro OS X Version: 10.9.5
iTunes Version: 12.0.1.26
I have tried two options to no avail:
OPTION 1 (Samsung Smart Switch Software):
I am trying to transfer SMS messages from iPhone 5 running iOS Version 8.1.1 to my new Samsung Note4. I have downloaded and installed the Samsung Smart Switch Software onto MacBook Pro running OS X Version 10.9.5.
The Samsung Smart Switch Software works find for EVERYTHING EXCEPT moving over SMS messages. The Samsung Smart Switch Software tries and then exits saying that it can not complete the transfer and the Samsung Smart Switch Software must restart.
Has this happened to anyone else or any thoughts?
OPTION 2 (iSMS2droid):
So I tried to move things using the iSMS2droid application. I found the 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28 file and moved it over successfully to the Note 4 and then tried to execute iSMS2droid against it and now I get this error:
Code:
3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28 is not an iPhone SMS database, or it is encrypted "iSMS2droid"
The iPhone 5 is *NOT ENCRYPTED* at all. I just back it up locally on the MacBook Pro without passoword/encryption.
I found the e-mail contact for the developer, Jan Grewe, and sent an e-mail with the entire scope for his prodcut without a reply. Looking in the Google Play store it appears that the iSMS2droid app has not been updated for 18+ months.
Has anyone seen this or have any advice?
Thanks in advance for any ideas or if anyone has seen this before.
I noticed today that the ADM does not locate my phone anymore. I dont think I installed anything out of the ordinary that would cause location problems. just general apps/games, rooted, xposed framework....
3rd party apps find my phone fine, just not ADM. I tried this method --> Android Device Manager Not Locating Phone Fix however it proved futile as well.
Any suggestions?..Or is anyone else facing this problem?
Thanks for the assistance.
I am running into the same issue as well.. The other day I tried following several guides to get to work, but in the end I signed into and out of my google account a few times, went into my google settings online and deleted all my old mobile devices, and eventually ADM starting working properly.
Unfortunately I just checked it today and ADM can't locate my device again. I don't know what the issue is now or how to fix it and keep it working.
Just tested with a ZF2 and ADM worked fine here.

Hello XDA!
Around 3 weeks ago, I updated my Nexus 5x from 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the latest Android version 7.1.1 Nougat. After one day, it suddenly crashed and my phone was stuck in a bootloop. Google knows about the problem and they said that this is a hardware related issue and that you can get your phone repaired/replaced by LG. I contacted LG, they replaced my whole mainboard and now I have a working Nexus 5x on Android 7.1.1.
Now to my problem:
Before all that I pre registered my phone for the "Super Mario Run" app in the play store and I've realised that I can't find it anymore in there. I tried to find the app on my phone by opening the Play Store link and now all I get is the "Your device isn't compatible with this version" error which hasn't been the case before! I even tried it with my girlfriend's Nexus 5x (also on 7.1.1) and for her everything works just fine!
A bit later that day I realized that this app isn't the only one which isn't compatible anymore. Until now it seems that I have this problem with every single one of Nintendo's apps and until now I don't know if any other apps are effected by this. The Play Store even shows me an ad about Super Mario Run and some other Nintendo app but when I tap on it, all I get is an empty list because none of this apps is compatible with my device.
As I mentioned above my Nexus 5x is currently running on Stock Android 7.1.1 and rooted.
Any kind of help is appreciated!
Similar issue
I have the same problem as you. I had also pre registered then I rooted my Nexus and then it doesn't show in my playstore. Playstore link says 'your device is not compatible..' I guess the problem with Android version. I had also upgraded from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2. So maybe they ain't releasing for nougat or maybe that is a later release.

Was able to get watch to sync to Pixel 2 XL but replaced phone with 3 XL and no longer wanting to connect. Stuck on "Continue setup on phone" and WearOS stuck on the phone too. Any ideas?
Strange, I didn't have any issues setting up my ZTE Quartz

I had a similar, or maybe exact same, issue. I did a bunch of google searching and ended up needing to wipe data on some of the google apps on my phone (play services or google or something like that). It was a pain but eventually got it to work. I know if you do a search you'll find people with the same issue (not specific to watch or phone). Sorry I'm not much more help. My 3XL and Ticwatch Pro work great since
I have no issues connecting mine. Only difference from yours is that I m running 9.0 on the watch.
Hve you tried u installing the WearOS app, restart phone, reinstall WearOS app ND reconnect?
on the watch itself, did you go into settings -> System -> and disconnect & reset from the Pixel 2? You won't be able to connect to the 3 until the watch itself is disconnected from the old phone.
