Wich one should i buy? - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i9190, i9192 or i9195?
I would get an i9192 for 200€.
But cyanogenmod only support the i9195 and i9190?!
I want to buy a small phone which is expected to get long community support...

I9192 - Dual-Sim if u need 2 cards this is the phone to get . I doubt any CM will come for this variant because CM does not support dual-sim phones
I9190 is GSM / 3G Variant
I9195 is LTE variant - if u have 4G in your country or will get soon this is the phone to get and it is more spread then I9190 so i think more support

I9192 is a dual sim version, if you don't need duos buy i9195 with LTE

yeah but the i9192 is really cheap at the moment, but the merchant say it has lte which is wrong...

I too would like an answer. Without AWS I'll be forced to pay twice as much!
Same here! Please can anyone answer this question and if it is possible where we can find the file.

GT-I9192 User Review

I had S II i9100. Recently it stopped working. Now i'm looking for new mobile phone.
I feel phones with 5" displays too big. So I was considering to buy GT-I9192 which is dual sim. But when i check user reviews in the internet, I found some users were having signal drop issues.
I need to know whether that problem still exist and GT-I9192 is a good buy.
If you don't really need the dual sim functionality then consider the LTE variant (GT-I9195).
It seems to be more stable on data connections than the duos variant

Ya, Dual SIM is the main reason i chose it. I won't use LTE at all. CM 10 doesn't support i9192 ?

No. The Dual-sim implementation on such phones are custom-made by their manufacturers and is not a core component with original Android sources.
And there hasn't been anyone who has successfully implemented dual-sim support for the 9192 yet. (there was one user who mentioned that he was working on it and asked for willing testers but never got back since - you can check his development thread)
As such, it will be quite unlikely that the Dual-sim variant will get any CM love anytime soon.

[Q] T-Mobile Radio/Modem

Evening; I have a S4 Mini GT-I9192 (International, DUOS Version). The device is for U.S. use and picks up AT&T and T-Mobile antennas. My guess is that is a general radio since the baseband information readsI9192UBUBMK4. This is the closest thread so I'm wondering if someone has a S4 radio backup or know of anything that I could do. I'm trying to get better signal as you can imagine by now.

Stop.
Do not do what you are trying to do for several reasons.
First, you NEVER EVER EVER want to flash a radio/modem made for a different version of a phone. ONLY the ones made specificly for your device.
Second, you don't have an S4. You have an S4 Mini, which is a completely different device with different hardware. If you flash a radio from the S4 you WILL kill your phone.
Radio/Modem
Thanks for your reply, my next question would be could I use the radio from an AT&T S4 mini, even thou one is single sim and the other is dual.

Probably not. Radios are generally not interchangable between carriers.

GT-I9192 samsung galaxy S4 mini
Hello, I have a GT-I9192 S4 mini.

What models does SPRINT support for the S4 Mini

Hello,
I would like to put an S4 mini on Sprint, but now confused as to which model(s) will work on it. Looks like one model from them is SPH-L520, but I read that the GT-I9195 will work also.
I also want to be able to get Marshmallow on it.
From what I am seeing, the only active and stable development is being done for the GT-I9195 .
Will this work on Sprint's CDMA network?
Thanks
Only the L520 will work on Sprint. The l520 has a few roms but they're not 100%. Also I think the gt is a GSM phone It will not work on Sprint. I suggest if your going to use Sprint. Find a different phone. Also if you still want one don't get a prepaid one it may not work on a postpaid.
i can confirm this...Sph-l520 is the ONLY s4 mini version that works with sprint network and it has almost zero development progress available for it..such as roms and tweaks!! as most of the "regular" sized phones do... but with a rooted stock 4.4.2 rom w xposed and a ton of other ad on apps as i do...its a pretty jiffy phone on sprints network...

Flash AT&T firmware on International Unlocked Galaxy S9

Hi,
Im a first time android user and recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 (International Version - SM G9600 - DUOS - Snapdragon). I need wifi calling very badly on At&T as my work and home both have bad reception so my purchase has handicapped me from making calls. I see a lot of forums talking about flashing At&T firmware on G960U VERSION. But i havent seen a single one talking about flashing it on g9600. Is it possible? I compared the specs and every hardware looks same except dual sim option. Will I brick my phone if i attempt it? Please suggest im in need to help from the pro community.
Regards.
