Hey guys,
Wondering does anybody know a great setup for converting movies to display on my phone?
Would love something around the same quality as a YouTube video on the app.
As much info as possible please:
Bitrate
File type (mp4 avi?)
Whatever else there is
Thanks in advance
Christopher

I know i have an 8125, but you all seem alot more technical than the Wizard guys. (No offense to those who are reading this, that was aimed at the guys who dont read the rest of the forum). Im having an issue with my current recipe. I can get the camera to encode the video to mp4 but cannot get Media player to play the video. I get all audio but no video. Any help would be appreciated.

folks,
can someone please tell me the best video conversion settings to convert a 1080p film to 720p for galaxy nexus? I use freemake video converter but not too sure if its best quality... should i use h.264 or mpeg 4 etc.... bitrate and so forth.
anyhelp is appreciated. I want to get the most out of this screen! but also balance the storage space... eg (3gb per film maybe?)
thanks!

would love to know this as well, ppl have avoided this question before like the plague :/ at least from what ive seen.
Get yourself a (free) copy of Handbrake and test yourself. MP4 is usually playable on most devices by default so i'd try that for compatablilty.
Bitrate ~ 3Mbps/ Filesize ~2.5-3GB for a movie would probably be the most you would need. The Galaxy Nexus might be capable of handling that.
Personally i'd stick to ~1Mbps though.
From the Transformer forum: Handbrake presets for 720p High Profile
They should work very well with the Galaxy Nexus also.
