[Q] Nav Bar - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys,
Juts wondering if there is anyway of getting a see though Navigation bat (just like on the moto x) onto to the galaxy nexus?
Thank you.

I think there are some Xposed framework modules that do it too.

Jellybean Question

Hi everybody,
Since I got my first Android phone about 6 months ago, I've yet to experience a major update. Anyway, my question is that my GNex is rooted on Android 4.0.4, and I want to know if I can simply update my ROM (Paranoid Android) to a Jellybean based ROM. So, for example, if the creator releases an update based on 4.1, can I simply update my ROM to that and get all the Jellybean features?
Thanks in advance!
Yup

AOKP is still in development at the moment, things are added everyday, when something new and intresting is added i will make new builds.
I want to take the time to thank the AOKP team, Cyanogenmod and the Android community.
Enjoy the builds and please report the bugs in this thread.

2-For picasa sync use EOS gapps, for advanced camera settingd use the 072612 gapps from goo. Im
3-Lockscreen targets were removed on test 2 but will be back, didn't add it because of framework compatability issues.
AOKP, here I come.
nice to see a neighbor, definitely worth a try...
No offense, but fitsnugly already does this.

Mind if I ask what's the difference between official and non official? I accidentally flashed snugly version, but other than more features, not noticing much

Official is when the team as a whole decide to post an new rom update, not just "nightlys" with stuff that isn't merged yet.
Also some people say that its not official if its not posted by a team member, which I'm am not
Its basically the same rom, just with afew more features or different "cherrypicks" if you will.

Its always recommended to do a clean install but most likely its ok, remember to at least wipe cache and dalvik.

Running this currently, good stuff so far. I hadn't run the AOKP in a long time, but I figure if Dorilife is building and running it, it was worth another go

[Q] What's the best VZW 4.2 Rom?

Hey guys I'm a Nexus retread. Just wondering what the VZ JB 4.2 rom is. Thanks!
Prepare yourself for the flames!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
At least from XDA? mROM 3.2 if you want the closest stock ROM without any mods. (Which I'm personally running)
MMUzzy's Jelly Bean is my next choice, stock feel with some extra additions thrown into the mix.

This is answered the same every time it's asked. Try several and see what works best for YOU. Everyone doesn't want the same features in a ROM. Some want stock and others want customization. Read the forums look at the screen shots and flash whatever peaks your interest. If you don't like it flash something else. Just be sure you make a backup just in case something wonky happens.
As for a suggestion, I am currently on Xylon V11+Zen kernel V12.

[Q] 4.2.1 Cutom-ROM with modifiable navbar

Hey,
I am looking for a Custom-Rom with Android 4.2.1 and a modifiable navbar. I need the Power-Softkey, because my Power-Hardkey is defect. I also need the volume-wake-feature, so I can wake my Nexus with the volume hardkeys. Can anyone recommend me one?

Has anyone created a touch wiz port or rom.?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Always run every ROM than go back to blur too...
I always just OC, Supercharge, entitlement hotspot hack, remove bloat, deodex, init D, swap out system apps and I'm happy
Edit: Go back to blur when I had a bionic.
