FYI: Rhino Shield screen protector best applied with soap and water - One (M7) Accessories

Just sharing that the Rhino Shield screen protector is best applied using soap and water. It's supposed to be a dry application, but I got tons of bubbles that I couldn't squeeze out.

Thanks! I'll try as soon as I'll get mine...

You can try without the soap and water, remove it and then use the soap and water if it doesn't work out so well. Not sure what, if any, negative effects this will have.

How are the edges? Curved? Could you upload some pictures?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium

Edges aren't curved. It's really clear, probably won't see it on the phone in pics

It does affect the flexibility a little. Makes the silicone a little more stiff but not that much more

Well I haven't tried with primer yet so it's cracking but I have to go buy primer after I'm done with work.... The red was also a fail lol.
I guess I just have to wait to buy some primer

Just to let everyone know that if your planning on doing this you're suppose to sand the silicone first with really fine sandpaper....
Also the primer has to be oil based same with the color.....work both with 2 coats

Wouldn't a clear coat of 3m or scotch guard do the trick without adding any of the "cracking" or stiffness issue ? I'm no expert, but if dust attraction seems to be the problem you would mostly likely just want to seal the original surface.....

Interesting but surprisingly no one has tried plasti-dip yet. I might since I have a couple generics I can fool around with before I touch my incipio

Help me choose a screen protector?

I can't decide which screen protector to buy between the Ultra Crystal and the Ultra Fine protectors from SGP.
How does the matter finish look and does it affect the screen?? (grainy)
Thoughts, opinions, reviews, and and all advice is welcome to.

Get cellet, best I've used, easiest to apply and very scratch resistant

Ultra Crystal. It's amazing. You may see fingerprints the first couple months but after it settle's in, it's great

[looking for] anti fingerprint screen protector

Any good ones out there? I haven't really seen any that I thought, "hey, you know, that looks like a quality screen protector for under $15"
Thanks all.

Anyone?

I had a moshi for my note but I really hurt the screen clarity. And I'm not a big fan of zagg ethier. But I would agree that anti glare and anti fingerprint is the way to go. I'd stay away orange peel stuff to.

I just put this one on the other day, so far so good. They made it small so it won't peel at the edges.

Some folks stated that some screen protectors were showing imprints from the stylus....YMMV.
Generally the wet style application for screen protectors will be prone to being easily marked.
They typically have some degree of self recovery but I doubt they'll prevent a visible amount of marks from the SPen showing up.

I had ghost armor on my note 1 and pre purchased one for my note 2. The pen works fine and is just as accurate (note 1 experience). It does leave a imprint on the skin just as the spen would leave steaks on the glass that were noticeable at different angles, but don't worry, just like the glass, it wipes away the streaks on the ghost armor.

I revived my replacement and I just saw the dust speck under my glass screen and was appalled and utterly depressed... Any way to getting rid of it instead of asking for a new one
