[Q] How to update from CM9.0.0 to 9.1.0?

Hello guys,
I use CM9.0.0-RC2-cryptomilk-alpha7 for about one month and now there's version 9.1 here on XDA. My question is if there's some way to make an upgrade or do I need to reinstall ROM?
I tried to find the answer here on XDA but without success.

You have to flash the ROM after you download it yo can flash it without wiping data but if you get serious bugs then try a clean flash by doing a factory reset

So that means if I don't wipe the data, all my programs and settings will remain?

[Q] Navigation keeps waiting for my location

I have been jumping from one rom to the other for quite a few days now and recently I noticed that my navigation does work anymore
I am currently on Liquid Smooth but have not been able to get this to work on many other ROMs like PA 2.55/ PK 1.40 or Task & Ktoonsez.
I have flashed the latest gapps. I also make sure I do a clean install every time I flash a new rom (wide data/factory, cache, dalvik and then I also did a format /system and format /data).
For some reason, apps like Weather, that need to find my location , are able to get it right and show me correct location results.
Could someone please help ?

thanks, I will try and gvet back

fixed the issue by doing the following -
new titanium backup > Boot into recovery > wipe everything (including format /system) > restore stock / flash stock > factory reset > flash new ROM again > use titanium to get back to normal !

Unfortunately installed Gapps :(

Actually i was using the Rom which doesnt need any gapps [aosp-4.2.2-20130307-vision]...accidently i installed the gapps from somewhere and now whenever i turn on my mobile the pop up says that google frame work not working.
Is there anyway to get rid of this?

You have the following options :-
1- Try reflashing the ROM from recovery over the current one (i.e without data wipe etc) .. If it solves your problem , good for you
2- If the above step does not help ... download Titanium Backup & Backup all your USER apps ... make sure you cross out Google Play sotre services etc ... just the user apps installed..
& start fresh .. i.e Data + Cache + Dalvik Wipe .. fresh install of the ROM .. & Restore all your USER apps.
Other then these 2 options , Even if you do manage to find a solution , it would leave some FC bugs that would later come up , As far as i know !

yes you are right other than these options , te rom will still be bug full, as the rom doesnt satisfied me just simply changed the rom and installed its gapps now the problem resolved..

i flashed my htc g2 with aosp-4.2.2-20130307-vision.zip and it perfectly work but the problem is i cant find my market or store nothing!
pls help what should i do????

Go to goinsideme.com and find the appropriate gapps for your android version, wipe clean, flash ROM, flash gapps

stuck at google for 2nd time niw!

Hello, this issue has happened to me before , I was on a 4.2.2 ROM , I flashed unofficial cm10.2 4.3 rom by carlos, the ROM was acting buggy, so I rebooted, and then I'm stucked at Google , rebooted into recovery , wiped everything , flashed another ROM , still stuck at Google, I had to wip everything including my SD data ;( , flashed Google factory image , rebooted fine, my question is , why I cannot roll back or install another ROM after flashing a 4.3 ROM? I always has to wipe all my data , I thought twrp was the problem, but this time I was using cwm, I'm so confused right now , I'm scared if I flashed a 4.2.2 ROM , then come back to 4.3 I will get stucked at Google again! What could be the solution to problem?

Ok... so you wrote to my ROM thread about it and I try to help you!
1. Use CWM, I ahve no experience of TWRP and I can't help Nexus users who uses TWRP
2. Flash factory images by wiping everything
3. If you flash a ROM then in CWM wipe data factory reset <-- it keeps files in the internal storage
4. Then flash a ROM
5. If it happens again them maybe something is broken on your Nexus, then I recommend the phone service...
Sorry I'm busy ad I read that quick if I missed some lines or didn't understand something, then I apologize

You better get some rest bro, u didn't read anything,! This issue also happened to you also, you said a 10-15 pages back that ur stuck on google too after rebooting, ! P.s i will install dreams 4.1.x , and wait for a 110% stable cm10.2 by you!

if you're reverting back from 4.3 to 4.2, you should do the Factory/Data Reset and you should boot into OS just fine, i had that problem too and that is how i sorted it out.

no didnt worked for me,, had to flash factrory image

Guys be very careful
I flashed Vdt 2.1 and after that flashed provided patch for F180 k. All went fine Boot loader remained locked and rom booted up fine. Previously i was on Philz touch recovery but that patch flashed another recovery. I booted phone in recovery and wanted to restore nandroid backup , once i selected wipe data it wiped my complete phone all data gone :crying: and phone was clean like a factory piece .
Advise is please be very careful using korean rom , patches etc , keep updating your backup data in computer before flashing new rom . I ve just lost over 15 gig data and dont want any one else to go through this .
