It depends on the operator's network .. if the operator does not provide the LTE network, the item does not appear.

strange, i had XPERIA V and the LTE option was on the menu. however, in my country we expect that within 2 months we will have 4g/LTE also. and that's why i was wondering about it
Hi guys I found the solution
For this method you have to root your phone.
There is a easy method to root your phone use "king root" app it not need any pc just in phone easy...
Step-1 : download root explorer apk or es file manager
step-2 : open this file "persist.radio.lteon"its file directry
/data/property
step-3 : open the file with text editor
step-4 : now you can see "false" you have to change
that into "true" and save that file
Step-5 : now reboot your phone and you can see lte in that:good:

Install an app from that requires root, if the app requests root and you press allow and the app works you`re rooted. What recovery do you have, samsung or CWM?
Phones don`t modify themselves, people modify phones
@jalu147 Samsung bootloaders are always unlocked, unlike HTC.

Don't bother! APN has all to do with getting your data connection up and running, but nothing to do with locking on the network in the first place (which is a pre-requisite to getting data service).
This is between your phone, the SIM card and the cellular network.
What, if anything, have you been doing with the phone to get there? More specifically, have you played with the service menu (*#1973* etc.)?
What happens when you do a network search? Is any operator network listed in the result at all? Have you tried the same SIM in another phone that is known to work to check if it sees your operator network and with what strength? Have you tried in different places (places known to be close to one of your operator networks antennas, where coverage would be optimal).
I would first use another phone and look for one such place, with 5 bars signal strength, then try again with the Note 2.
good luck

Are you sure the Note II supports the same frequencies that are used in your country?
I would suggest making sure that you have 2G/3G/LTE enabled, and not just 3G or just 2G etc.
If that's not the issue, then I would suspect your SIM is faulty, or there is a problem with the phone's antenna.

Plenty of ways to unroot
There are plenty of ways to unroot your device. I'll number them for you!
1.) Use SuperSU. go to settings and then find unroot. It should unroot.
2.) Use odin. If you can find a stock firmware it will fully reset your tablet but it will unroot.
3.) You can update your tablet, this removes root.
I heard there is an app called THE OTA root keeper. It can un-temp root your phone or perma root your phone however I never really tried it out so use are your own risk.
Good luck and hope I helped!
