[Q] Kindle Fire HD 7 Bricked.<I have a factory Cable> - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As I was trying to get TWRP on my kindle fire hd, i put on the wrong version of twrp and my kindle went into a bricked state. I heard that a facotry cable should fix it, but i havent found any luck. When i plug in the device with factory cable it shows as fastboot on the kindle, however, when i try to restore it with the KFHD_SRT_v1.3.5- 7.3.0 (seperate option for restoring factory recovery), and i choose option 1, it just says,"waiting for device" please help!!!

Hey, isn't this the forum for the original Kindle fire?
Hey, get fastboot, erase /recovery and reflash it

Your Kindle has detected a problem and must clear
App storage. The recovery process will erase some
applications and data from your device.
Apps from the Appstore are store in the cloud and can
be reinstalled later.
This will reset your Kindle to its original factory
settings. You will need to re-register your Kindle
prior to downloading items from your Amazon account.
Please press power button to proceed.:crying:
like this
i press power button and it shutdown and stuck again
help what should i do?:crying:
Use kfu to send twrp and fff then enter recovery and wipe everything except the extermal storage/sdcard and system. Then reboot.

helpppppppp

If you can't enter "recovery" anymore via pressing the power button (e.g. you still have the original bootloader installed), you need to get the Kindle Fire back to "fastboot mode" to be able to set boot mode back to "recovery" from there.
From what you describe it sounds like you need a "Factory Cable" to get there. A factory cable is a special USB cable that the boot loaders of the Kindle Fire detect and then switch to fastboot mode automatically.
For both (fastboot mode and factory cable) you can find excellent tutorials in the "Kindle Fire General" section right here.

Just stay calm. If your Kindle Fire still shows a boot logo, it's very likely you can get this fixed.

not neccessarily , i think you really need to imerse yourself in reading especially anything from kinfauns or vashypoo , trust me I thought I needed a factory cable too but you can do it , be patient , make sure you have the right drivers!!! Use a dedicated USB port (meaning one on the back of the pc), if your using adb the kindle drivers might work , it will say they are correct, but for me I used kfu and use there THERE drivers , they will work, kfu will get you a boot loader , might as well go FFF ,
Every Android device is different ,you may be proficient using Samsung , but Acer and Kindle are completely different , Kindle in particular is alot different than just android , READ,READ,READ EVERYTHING!
I need urgent help. As I wrote I bought a factory cable to repair my kindle fire.
But now 'I do not know how to do, and unfortunately I see the little' English.
I tried to connect the kindle with the factory cable and I get the screen that says: fastboot and the design of a traffic light. Now what do I do? I'm desperate.
I tried to use unbrick utility but I do not recognize the kindle
You have a KF2. Install fastboot drivers and install TWEEZERMOD (search on google) then install freedomboot and TWRP and then mount, install a rom for the Kf2 and u r done.
Sent from a bird... No, a plane... Wait, It's a Kindle Fire!
unfortunately they are in a dire situation. I do not know how, but where he made some attempts, now my kindle does not connect more 'of nothing, not even with the factory cable and recharge.
I tried to attack the kindle to the electrical outlet, but will not charge, will not turn on even the lights on the power button, and the charger heats up but the kindle does not charge!
Help

[Q] Bricked Kindle, bad. Please help me! Please! :(

Okay so I had TWRP and I was going to flash a different Rom. However I accidentally while not looking managed to wipe EVERYTHING, including my old Kindle OS (I reformatted it back to stock OS for some reason before I was going to flash another rom). I deleted everything, system, SD data, cache and delvec. Factory reset and whatever else was there, I didn't think it would do anything, there were no warnings. Now I believe my kindle is completely bricked for good and it makes me wanna cry
So far when I turn it on, it shows the original Kindle Fire screen and flashes to black quickly like it's rerunning the animation every 15 or so seconds. I'm afraid to keep it on and continue anything due to the battery last I saw was 30 person and the charging is already messing up on it.
If I could get it to connect to my computer I could reinstall TWRP and manae to flash it to whatever I want but when connecting it doesn't pick up and TWRP won't reconize it either. I've tried to use JDK or whatever it's called to ADB or something (you computer people get me!) and it gives me the error - exec '/system/bin/sh' failed. No such file or directory.
I'm not sure what I'm doing either, I've been watching a video on youtube and cannot get any farther in it due to this error.
Please, someone help me I'll worship you, I am completely lonesome without my Kindle
exec '/system/bin/sh' failed. No such file or directory
If you have FireFireFire installed (blue & white Kindle Fire logo) that error is not much of a problem. If it is not installed, however, you will need a factory cable.
Try to run Kindle Fire Utility 0.99 first and wait for KF reboot
ADB is also nightmare for me since my PC recently never recognizes my Fire in adb mode (always failed with KF tool .096 and 0.99). Therefore my TWRP version was stacked with 2.2.2.6 version for a long time, and the method to update it through the soft in Google Play store was also failed. However, I accidently find a good way to update TWRP to 2.6 versions by run KF tool and select Install TWRP. Then with the KF still connect to PC, I restart it and it take a seconds to install latest TWRP while my Fire still in boot status (blue Kindle Fire logo)

[Q] Kindle Firmware Corrupted? (Bricked...)

Hi,
So I have Kindle Fire (1st gen) that used to be my brothers and it was locked or something so he installed 'TWRP' and 'FFF' but for some reason it wouldn't boot. It would turn on Ask for 'Normal boot, Recovery, Reset Boot Mode'. Only recovery worked, the rest got stuck on 'Kindle Fire. I Tried factory reset, erase all cache but nothing worked and at the time my computer didn't recognize it.
Eventual I managed to get it to work on 'Kindle Fire Utility' and re-installed 'TWRP' AND 'FFF'. On my kindle it said that I didn't have an OS. So I downloaded one and installed it with 'COTR' due to connection problems with 'TWRP'. During the installation it said 'signature verification failed' but I installed it anyway. Now when I boot there isn't any 'Normal boot, Recovery, Reset Boot Mode'. It starts up and says 'Kindle Fire then the screen gets brighter and after a sec it goes even lower than the first and just stays there.
Now it isn't recognized on the computer, I tried re-installing the drivers but it say it is already up to date.
I also followed a tutorial on youtube made by Skeelo764 and it is called "Fix Kindle Fire stuck in Recover TWRP and PC not finding"
But when I type 'adb shell'
it says this: exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2)
Any help is appreciated =)

[Q] Fire HD 8.9 stuck at first loading image, USB not functioning

Hi there,
All was going well with my Fire HD 8.9, I rooted it, had the 2nd bootloader installed and was trying to install CM 11 before I got an error message saying that the jem version was the one I needed. I couldn't get my computer to recognise the the Kindle whilst in TWRP, so thought that I'd have to restore from the backup I made (of the stock Kindle OS and settings) to be able to transfer the version of CM that I needed. The backup seemed to work, but it hasn't in fact.
I turn on the Kindle and it gets stuck at the very first image of the logo, with NO animation
I'm unable to get back into TWRP
I can turn the kindle on and off but that's it
I can't use any recovery programs because my PC doesn't recognise the Kindle
I uninstalled and reinstalled the adb drivers, but when I connect the Kindle, my PC plays the 'Device Connected' then 'Device disconnected' sounds in quick succession, making the installation of any drivers fail
It's as though there's a brief second or two when USB works on the Kindle in terms of my PC knowing something is there, but then the USB disconnect noise plays
I only got it a day ago (managed to mess it up very quickly somehow!), so I could always try returning it if needs be, but hopefully that won't be necessary. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
EDIT - I can get the device to come up with fastboot mode and then the computer recognises it as an Adb device, but don't know where to go from there.
I would try to fix it from recovery if possible, it is way easier than having to do the process over again. You do know how to get it back into recovery right? Hold down volume up right after you power it on, just keep holding it even after kindle logo turns blue until you see the twrp logo. If that doesn't work, I would use kindle fire first aid to restore it and start over, but if you can get it into recovery then you can simply push a ROM onto it via adb.

Thanks for the reply. I actually managed to fix it in the end by using the fast boot command and then connecting the Kindle, then using the SR tool to erase user data and cache, before flashing the boot and recovery imgs (just saying in case anyone googles and this comes up and it might help).
