So they're basically punishing the majority of Android users for the acts of a few(or one)?

Certainly not one or few, they claimed around 1.1mill people use the leaked app

BBM servers couldn't handle 1.1 million users, so how the hell are they gonna handle 100+ million users when the app is official on play store:banghead:

They said they had issues, that doesn't automatically mean "servers couldn't handle it".
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
We using the leak version because bb not releasing it in playstore, when they claim that the user around 1.1million making the server error, what do you thing when they releasing it in playstore? Certainly more than 1.1million user will using it, its the same. This is ridiculous.. old excuses... when you not ready, don't release it yet... upgrade your server, this anticipating is expected.. sorry for my bad grammar...

According to Hoppermi, miui v4.1 is almost here. So this could be an ad for that.. I don't really care how it looks, it needs to work.

It's called "Free Launcher" not free "MIUI Launcher", though it's probably going to be free. It is released together with their new phone "MI-TWO", which costs around $310 with a qualcomm qual core S4 CPU. The launcher will also be put in the latest GN 4.1 miui release.
When miui 4.1 drops that's where I'll be for awhile. I had it on my ego 4g, nexus s 4g, galaxy s II and my galaxy nexus...

You guys didn't read the op. He said that he does not want to install from APK. So its not rolling out to GNex... Only for newer phones... Therefore its a leak.

My honest opinion we should skip 4. x anything... and demand 5.0.. And android 4.2 on my nexus 7 was not a nice thing...
Stick with what works.. not whats cutting edge..

I agree with sticking with what works but a lot of the people around here that can't do dev work truly believe that the newest is always the best, and that's not always the case. Android 5.0 may be just around the corner, who really knows considering 4.3 was just released for the Nexus line and in development for the S3, S4 and Note 3 (and possibly the Note 2).
ICS was a big step up from GB, and JB over ICS. History has proven the the next big version is not just better but A LOT better. But I have to ask, what could or would you possibly change to make Android that much better to warrant a major change over Jelly Bean?

Basically the stuff ive read from random sources online, its gonna be more aesthetic stuff but will also cut down on cpu usage. Making it more streamlined and less power hungry, meaning the newer smart phones will run smooth as silk and battery drain will be minimal. Obviously some features will be added, but i didnt read of anything revolutionary. Hopefully theyre keeping that aspect under a tight seal. I feel like theyre going to increase interaction with multiple devices now. Integration of all peripheral devices seems like the next "big thing".

Give it 1-2 months... when Note 2 came out, it took almost 2 months before they started building CM for it... though that's because it was Exynos 4 which caused a zillion problems building the kernel to make all the hardware work, and the ROM itself. Our Note 3 is Snapdragon 800 which is very easy to support, and with Samsung's kernel source already available they shouldn't have too many problems bringing it up.
I hope so, its sad to see no variety of custom roms so far
