I was just curious what everyone's scores were on your benchmark of choice.
I have the Vivid Blue with Android 4.2.2 HBOOT 1.54 locked and non-rooted (completely stock). If you have a benchmark app you would like me to run that isn't listed here, please let me know and I will update this post.

I just ran it and got 12,539. Odd, my scores last night were consistently in the 10k range. Maybe battery or heat had something to do with it.

can you do me a favor please??
go into settings > storage > and tell me what it reports.
how much space is being taken up in the "other" category.
and how much you have available.
also if you don't mind and are close to a CPU, plug it in and tell me what it says you have for free space, mind reads 25GB.
Just wondering if S-OFF changed anything.
Thank you in advance!

Even at 800mhz this new processor seems to be the fastest around. Had to run a benchmark myself to see if it lived up to the hype.

Has anybody used anything that handled Android better?
My G/F's getting a Droid 2 next week. She doesn't know it yet but I'm gonna have both phones battling at night.
I am curious that why the benchmark differs on the same model, some shows 13xx, and yours over 1500
what causes that difference?since g2 has yet to have root and overclock
I'm here in la and my g2 is throwing down 7600 to 9000. My rooted over clicked vibrant did 3000 max
Sent from my T-Mobile G2
For what its worth, my Nexus consistantly achieved 60 fps average running fps2d. My G2 usually gets between 55~58, but the G2 is still smoother and more responsive.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2
Not sure but I'm constantly gettin' 159x or more... can't wait to get this G2 rooted and overclocked (not that its needed).
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
I don't know but when I run quadrant on my vibrant the DNA strand rotation running above 35 fps and the doom like 3d test run at mostly 40 frames and up with the occassional dip into 20 when it turns corners.
The G2 running the DNA rotation runs at 16 fps and the doom like test runs in the teens only breaking into 40 when it climbs the steps but when it begins turning on the stairs its drops back down.
The G2 chokes compared to the Vibrant on those 2 portions in Quadrant. That being said NeoCore runs equally on both.
I just got my g2 and I must say it looks nice and is fast. It does outperformed my vibrant in quadrant it gets 1600+, neocore 55-58, linpack 33. My vibrant gets 850-915, 55-59, linpack 8-9. Now by those numbers I would say yes the g2 is more powerful but it needs to be a fair fight. When the vibrant gets 2.2 and ill do the tests again.
Sent from my SAMOLED Vibrant using XDA app
Yea..havin 2 galaxy phones..I can safely say that the vibrant is stil a bit more powerful. I noticed it stutters a bit when using the 3d drawer in launcher pro..but the vibrant/epic was a full 60fps during that transition.

its only a benchmark.. does the phone perform well in real usage? if so then there's no need to worry.

Yes! A game Soulcraft THD, it is free.
The loading time is very very long. every stage i have to wait about 45~ 60 seconds to get in.
I don't see that happen on my sony Tablet S, it just toke less than 10seconds to get in.

same as you. So it is the rom problem? EXT4 supposed to get better I/O, is that right?
here is my quadrant score.
The CPU score about 11500, before it is 13XXX. is that normal
hmm I think it would need some testing im betting its software/mod related.
Ok so I know quadrant isn't everything but please tell me why I have a stock att ogp with the lag of an optimus t? Did a factory reset and still the same thing. I let go of my HTC one for this device...I love it but what gives? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

When I first got my OGP I was getting 7-8000 on quadrant, but I certainly wasn't experiencing any OS lag. So if you happen to be from stock, there may be something especially wrong with your phone or there is something causing it issues. I originally had a corrupted SD Card on mine that caused some terrible lag issues for the day I did not know it was corrupted. Currently I nail 12,000s on my quadrant scores. I run the April factory OS without value pack, as the value pack seemed to cause some framerate slowdown in games and a lower quadrant score for me. My OS is de-bloated, and thermal mitigation is off (you can find this setting in your hidden menu). It helps to run Quadrant with a 60% brightness or lower starting the benchmark with a cold phone.
I have both the htc one and the OGP and my One scores a 2450 on geek bench 2 while my OGP hits 3000~. Granted my OGP is rooted and I use the performance governors but still they have identical SoC.
Do you have quad core optimizer on by chance? Also do you run this on a clean boot?
Yeah it's on but what I did was flash the telcel firmware and everything was just fine. It was like night and day! No stuttering or lag of any kind!

It's crazy though. Whenever I open quadrant, and look at system info it says my cpu speed max is 1728 but it runs at 1132 until I enable the thermal mitigation and it will read 1728. I'm on the telcel firmware and I can't find the High temperature property in the dial pad menu.

When I was stock, I ran an 11,5XX on quadrant. When I rooted and ran the stock ROM that's debloated and optimized I broke 12,000.
On my last two AOSP ROMs the phone feels so much lighter(os) but I only score down around d 8,000

Hi everyone,
Apologies if this is a rehashed question (My thread is two fold... Also to put up my post count!) But I was wondering what kind of 'weight' we can put on a Quadrant score? Is it really a reflection of how good and how fast our smartphone is?
I've used it in the past in trying to determine the best combination between ROM + kernel + OC app, but today by far, I've hit the most I've ever seen on my N7105.
Basically, DN3 v4 (BETA) + AGNi v4.2.1 R3 + 1.9Ghz OC (via AGNi tweaks) = 9211 on quadrant.
I was so happy!
I'm just interested to see what people think about the quadrant rating anyways, and what scores you've achieved.
They dont by any mean reflect the smoothness of the device, this test tests the power of CPU, GPU and ram of the phone. U might have a smooth device and low score and maybe the opposite.
Btw 20K stock

Nice score! I have a friend who said that the Note 3 is a touch over 21st stock as well.
All I know is that the DN3 ROM is butter smooth and my score definitely reflects how good the ROM is. (Quadrant on a stock Note 2 is 6400!) So I'll take those results any day!
Was just wondering how everyone else fared with their scores!

In the last picture before you there are three numbers under the word "Performance".
These numbers; Max, Avg and Min are the maximum performance and the minimum performance. If these numbers are close to each other that is good.. if there is a big difference that is bad it means the device throttle and you're not getting full performance.
In the picture it's good it says that the max performance and the average performance are really close and the minimum one is only 10% less.. so most of the time you're getting the best performance and when getting the worst it's only 10% worst.

Oh alright, thanks! I see better here. Like on desktop, thermal throttling and voltage throttling, CPU being underclocked if thermal/voltage throttling. Great, it is interesting indeed.
