Where is Clockworkmod backup located? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have latest CWM recovery (non-touch) installed using ROM Manager. I am on CM 10.1 (4.2.2) RC1 ROM.
I just did a backup yesterday. Here is how I backed up: Recovery => Backup & Restore => Backup
Today I am unable to locate it using ES File Explorer. Strange thing is that I am able to restore that backup when I go to "Recovery => Backup & Restore => Restore" I see my backup is located at /sdcard/clockworkmod/backups and I am able to successfully restore.
However as I said in es file explorer there is no clockworkmod directory on /sdcard
A little bit of digging and I see that /sdcard links to /emulated/legacy. I checked /0 and /legacy folders and searched everywhere and still cannot find the backup.
Any thoughts?
Note: Backup to external is fine. I can see my backups. I am just curious of the location of my backup on internal sdcard.

Quick Question about Amon Recovery

I'm running v1.7.0.1 and when I go to do a NAND restore I notice I have multiple files to choose from. I'm used to only having the lastest backup as a restore point. Is there any way to name these files? I figured out by trial and error that the last one (bottom) is the most recent backup. But it would be nice to be able to make some notes in the file name.
There are a couple ways:
1.) From within the phone: If you have Root explorer, Astro, or ES Explorer, and look for your nandroid folder, you are able to rename it that way.
2.) Mount your phone to your pc. Locate the sd card drive, scroll to your nandroid folder and rename away.

[Q] There is no backup files in clockworkmod folder

Hey guys,
I have used gnexus toolkit 'Boot to CWM Recovery without Permanently Flashing it' to start my gnexus, and made a nandroid backup, but i can't find the backup files in my clockwormod folder. When i Boot to CWM Recovery, there is a backup files in restore option, then where is the backup files?
Anyone can help me? I want to find the backup files.
Thanks.
At least in my Galaxy S2, the backups are kept in the microSD external_sd card, folder clockworkmod, subfolder backup
From this external microSD card, CWM is able to recognize every single backup I saved for restore..
post is right above me.
it is located in:
sdcard/clockworkmod/backup or
data/media/clockworkmod/backup
They should be recognized in recovery (under backup and restore option)
Are you browsing using an Android file manager or plugging the phone into a PC? I had a simular issue where CW backups weren't showing when connected to my computer, although they were there using ES File Explorer.
For me, they eventually appeared in "sdcard/clockwork/backup" while browsing the file system from my computer.
my problem

/sdcard is a symlink the files are actually stored at /data/media/0. The new CWM bacups should be at /data/media/clockworkmod/backup

How to manually restore a TiBU flashable zip?

I ran into a bit of a problem with a Titanium backup.
Yesterday I upgraded to 5.0. OTA didn't work with CWM, so I got the pro version of Titanium backup and created a flashable zip of my apps and system data. Then I flashed 5.0 and CWM, and restored root with the kernel mod. All good. Then I tried to flash the zip file that TiBU created with CWM. CWM reports that it can't flash the file, says it is bad. File looks valid, it is 2.4GB.
I opened the zip on my mac and all my apps and data are there. What is the best way to get my apps and data back? Can I move the exploded zip file to a directory on my phone and then Titanium will be able to restore them? There are 700 files in the zip, an apk, .properties and a .tar.gz for each app.
Thanks!

ok, looks like I can push the files to /sdcard/TitaniumBackup and TiBU will recognize them and be able to restore them. Good to go, but thanks for being there

problem with twrp backup

I make backup with twrp but I can't find files on twrp file inside my storage I need to delete this backup how I can?
I think you should try the es file explorer in root mode and do a sd card analysis to find the backup. It should not be very hard to find the folder.
I try and still not fixed
It's on the internal storage inside the TWRP folder. If it's not there there are no backups.

twrp backup folder directory stored in / data / media / 0 / TWRP / Backups / SerialNumber / here
use root explorer application ,
if no , determine if you ever get into recovery backups , select the restore .
If the backup was not there , it means you did not have his backup
