So what I really want to know is whats the best ROM for making my device fast and have a good performance.
And

Best kernel xperia S CM10?Battery life...

Hi guys,
i know that this question been asked already but being not so smart would like to ask first before doing anything..
Running CM10 FX210 on xperia s at the moment everything seems fine pretty much it's just battery seems similar to official ISC ..main reason for using custom rom was to improve battery..now I've been reading that there's few other kernels you can flash in recovery with better battery life..problem is which one i dare to use..some people getting stuck on bootloops after flashing ...also people suggesting that should stay away from custom roms such as CM because they use more of battery since they preform really good..maybe I shold try any stock rom?Any suggestions?
appreciate any response on this silly questions...
p.s. so my point just need rom or kernel for cm10 with good battery life...no need for playing games or to be superfast etc...:silly:
The only custom kernel for CM10 I think is Nova... It should be better than stock but... The best is relative. At the first 4 versions of KA kernel, for example, most people loved it, phone was way better, but mine never liked it... So it wasn't the best FOR ME.
thanks for reply mate..
I'm trying to download latest which is NovaKernel-nozomi-1.6.zip but it doesn't want to start download..any mirror link for this?
Should i go for latest or read somewhere that 007 version is the best battery friendly but seems way to old to 1.6?
one more question..
How to install stock rom over CM10 in my case? Do I have to use flash tool as well just put zip on phone and flash it?
thank you...

Go ahead with nova 1.6, it was giving me great battery life on aokp ROM.
Using the stock CM10 kernel. Battery life is much better than stock ROM / Kernel.
I use WiFi only when needed, 3G is off and brightness is 50%. Don't use much CPU except for a handful of widgets.
Will try Nova too.
I would recommend you the Nova Kernel
Switch your governour to "intellidemand".
I got appx 3 days with 4-5 hours screen time, by using 2G when screen is off and flight moder over night for 6 hours.
I can recommend Nova and KA as any othes of you, too =)
So Nova is the best .

Idea for an best ROM ever, Hope that devs gonan see this

Hi guys...I've tried many many ROM from xda and each one have it own cool feuture...I really want to compile them into a amazing rom but i can't...I'am totally noob about making rom, i don't no a single code
SO the only thing i can do that make a suggestion, i wonder if devs can see this post, but anyway, here is my idea to make a totally amazing ROM
- Take djoliver NAMELESS CM10 as a BASED because it has Youtube HD working, amazing performance and battery and stable enough
- Take camera from CM 10 with CM 10.1 feutures by IH8ra!n because it amazing and look really amazing
- Just add basic JB apps such as CHplay, etc.... So that user can install app as they wish..if an apps doesn't work, they just simply install another
That's is guys..i hope that devs can see this and together make a best rom ever..:good:
thanks

Suggestions

I have an arc s with cm10 and its a bit laggy i want to have android 4.4.
Which onw of those roms you suggest me.
I need stable one which dont get laggy after using it alot.
If android 4.4 have little problems it can be 4.3 too.
And its not a
"which is the best rom "
Thread.
Thx
Try to find your self which is good for you . But since you asked, try VanirAOSP 4.4.2 .
I believe this fits you best - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097137

Plzz i do not ask for fastest/best rom, but for stable one with less bugs. The arc s is for my bro , so i cant choose one of these billions of roms, because i cant try every rom. Its not my phone.
I know the rules of xda!!
There is no stable KitKat ROM, they all have certain flaws still.
And all ROMs become slow over time. If you wish to join the custom ROM world, you have to learn to maintain ROM's speed and efficiency.

OK go to the link below, it has a lot of information about the device, like root and all the roms made for this device is pretty much available there. Thanks to @demkantor.

And about the rom, its not right to compare or anything. But still for me I loved Andromadus CM 10.2 by @HTCDreamOn. Im sorry if i had spelled the names wrong. Its been so long.
But yes his was a good 4.2.2 rom. You can try that.

Finding a ROM

Hi guys, it's my first post here, so sorry if I will wrong the section.
So, I have a lot of problems with my Note II: slowdowns, "the process has been stopped", etc.. :crying:
I would like a rom stable!! The most important thing is stability, fewer bugs possible, and with the Note features...
Who help me?
Eclipse Rom is what i recommend

Do you wish a stock rom , A custom rom ?? .
If you took the first option then i'd recommend KitKat with Nadia custom kernel , i've used it , it's good .
If the second choice is your preference then first i'd suggest you read about how these things work and how they are installed , the custom recovery . etcetera ,before taking any step through the process
Then and this is an important approach : Focus on the model of your phone and be careful , flashing the wrong ROM might mess with the soft of your device , and you won't like it trust me .
and good luck
Any cyanogenmod ROM should be fine.

...he wants the Note features, including spen! No way to have this features in an acceptable way on any kind of rom except those one TW based. So he can decide to stay on pure stock, maybe rooted, debloated and xposed or on some Note 3, 4 etc port - or simple reinstall his updated stock rom if he doesn't want to mess around.
If you bought a Note I suppose it is for the S Pen (on my N3 I coutend 3000 charging and 2600 spen in/out), otherwise any S series would be fine, and speed and rock solid CM would be a good choice - obviously if you don't use the pen a Note is a S...
Hi guys, sorry for the delay but I'm very busy with the university and I'am also sick in this period!

Root is the first step, right?
I want to say you sorry for my english!
