Install guide :
1. Disable any lagfix if have it installed
2. Make sure have the 2e recovery. If your rom is froyo and you don't have 2e recovery, use cf-root by chainfire
3. Make sure you have a backup of your /efs (not mandatory, but highly recommended).
4. Factory reset is NOT required, but is recommended. Wipe cache and dalvik cache if you’re not performing a factory reset.
Installation Steps:
1. Download the ROM and put Spike Speedy Edition v2.0.zip on your internal memory
2. Download clockworkmod recovery from here. You *need* Clockworkmod, this won’t work with stock recovery.
3. Rename the clockworkmod recovery file to “update.zip” and put it on your internal sdcard.
4. If you had Voodoo installed prior to installing this ROM (eclair or froyo), make sure you still have the "disable lagfix" folder inside "/sdcard/Voodoo". If you’re coming from sztupy’s kernel, make sure you have disabled all Lagfixes from CWM.
5. Shutdown phone, wait for it to power down, then boot the phone into recovery mode (press volume up, keep it pressed, then press home button, keep it pressed, then press power button, keep it pressed until you see the Galaxy S screen. Release all three buttons when you see it).
6. Select “apply sdcard:update.zip” (use volume rocker to move up and down, and home button to select). Clockworkmod recovery will boot now (you may have to do apply update.zip twice for Clockworkmod to show up).
7. Once in Clockworkmod, select “install zip from sdcard” (use volume rocker to move up and down and the back button to select).
8. Select “choose zip from sdcard” and then select Spike Speedy Edition v2.0.zip. Then choose yes.
9. The update will start (will take some 5 minutes) and during the flashing you will see some strange big characters on the screen, don’t worry, that’s normal. After the process finishes, you will be dropped back into Clockworkmod recovery. From there, choose go back, and then reboot phone.
10. The first boot will take some time as the ROM will deodex
Special tnx to kalpik for install guide.

What is a2sd Darktremor and what it does?????
In simple words ,a2sd darktremor let you install your all apps on sd card , so in this way internal memroy stay empty and phone perform better.
This is Darktremor Apps2SD, a multipurpose program that primarily allows a user to execute applications created for the Android OS on their Secure Digital card (with the proper setup...more on that later). But, Darktremor Apps2SD is all about stability. The goal is to be able for all users of the Android OS to be able to take advantage of a method to run their applications from a secure digital card.
But just because the Darktremor Apps2SD is all about stability, doesn't mean it isn't packed with features:
- Move applications (both free and paid) to the Secure Digital card.
- Move Dalvik Cache to run either from your Secure Digital card or from your cache partition and clears the cache on demand.
- Boot Loop Protection: prevents the phone from boot looping in the event the SD card could not be mounted.
- Dalvik JIT for faster performance on Roms which support it.
- User selectable sizes for the Dalvik heap sizes, allowing a user to freely optimize their system.
- Activate a swap partition on your SD card and sets how often the swap partition is utilized.
- Automatically fixes configuration issues.
- Users can check the free space on their SD card and check the installation to make sure all is setup correctly.
- Runs ZipAlign on demand...this makes your programs load faster.
- Built in help system for easy reference of commands.
- All features can also be reversed without repartitioning your Secure Digital card.
- New logging features assists in troubleshooting issues.
- Commands to set the Low Memory Killer feature at boot time. Great for those people who are the "set it and forget it" type.
- And more...

Special Thanks to FAQBLY For This Wonderful zip
faqbly has compiled a script that can flash boot.img from CWM Recovery and it will not increase Custom Bin Count.
Benefits
You can Install Custom Kernel without increasing your Custom Bin Count.
Below is the ZIP file from faqbly
http://www.mediafire.com/?26928er6dqmucrm
Instructions:
In the .zip file provided by faqbly, you have to replace the boot.img with the boot.img from the tar file of a kernel
Example would be to download kernel from Maroc-OS
You Will Have A .tar file that contains the boot.img
Extract boot.img from tar, and place it to the zip by faqbly

HOW TO FLASH KERNEL GUIDE THE EASIEST WAY
Requierements:
boot img file (2 the kernel your flashing and termagrancis kernel)
mai77 flasher thingy
and cwm of mads or skins...
procedure:
download the kernel respectively, both kernels are on tar file do you need to extract them using any extarctor (for me i used androzip form market)or tyu can use es file manager...
extract them on sdcard one file at a time and rename them
example kernel 1
after extrract rename boot.img to boot.imgx
do the same thing on the other kernel, but rename differently...
now,,,decide which kernel to flash..
example
i renamed
boot.imgx(marcos kernel)
boot.imgz(terma kernel)
i will flash
terma kernel
rename or remove the other letter
the kernel you wnat to flash should have the boot.img name,.
now go to recovery..
install via zip
choose sd card update
choose SGYbiCWM.zip
and apply reboot,,,
youre done,.,,!
check under settings kernel...
this was the method ive opersonally used

BATTERY CALIBRATION!
AUTION: DO THIS PROCEDURE ONLY ONCE OR TWICE, FULLY DRAINED BATTERY CAN CAUSE CRYSTALLIZATION WHICH SHORTENS BATTERY LIFE.
HAVE CWM INSTALLED INCASE YOUR STOCK RECOVERY HAS NO ADVANCED OPTION.
1. Fully drain your battery, play some games, music, etc.. NO PORN!!
2. Let your battery cool for atleast 2 minutes
3. Restart phone to remove residual charge( it will boot only halfway)
4. After the phone shuts down remove battery and let it cool for atleast 2 minutes.
5. Re insert battery and charge your phone in OFF mode.
6. After the phone reaches 100% charge boot into recovery (Power+Home+Volume_up button)
7. Go to advance (I think some android has this in recovery, if not go to CWM and you will find it there).
8. Wipe battery stats.
9. Press Power/Back and Reboot your phone
10. Wait till the phone reaches 100% charge and disconnect charger
11. Have a happy life.
Before my phone has a battery life of less than a day (about 20 hours) with battery saver, task killer and minimal settings. After calibration my phone without task killer and battery saver installed lasts short of 3 days with moderate settings. I use only a Ram cleaner and V6 fast engine flush now. "Cleaner" apps are good, "Killer" are not..
THIS IS A BATTERY CALIBRATION PROCEDURE NOT A BATTERY LIFE EXTENDER(THERE IS NO SUCH THING), JUST SAYING SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION.

u can use custom rom like, creeds v2.0,repencis v2.0 or hybrid 2.0,these rom r good and less bugs.. use link2sd or a2sd.. in link 2 sd u need to partition ur sdcard to make it work..
some few custom ROMs change MAC addr of wifi, thereby keeping them from reregistering immediately in WLAN if "access point" limits via MAC#
pls put in guideline

The "Complete Guide" series is back, now for the holy Nextbit Robin! (check out my profile for other "complete guide" threads for my past devices)
First things first, this guide is made mainly for our great Nextbit Robin - Ether. Some steps may or may not work for other phones...
Please note that the results of the following methods may vary. I will not be held responsible for destroying your device. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
For increased chances of these working, ensure you're on the latest version of Robin.
If you don’t know what rooting, flashing and *explosion* means, this probably isn’t the thread for you.
Credit me if you want to take anything from this thread. DO NOT create duplicates of such threads.
Enjoy!
Complete guide to all things Robin:
NOTE: The chapters are in chronological order, meaning everything after Chapter 2 assumes you already have root and unlock.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHAPTER 0: TERMINOLOGY (in my own words)
- Terms
- Tidbit
(To be honest, if you need to even look at this, this thread isn't for you.)
- Root: Gaining full administrative control of your device. "Jailbreaking" in terms of Android.
- ROM: The customized operating system that your Android runs on.
- Kernel: The thingy that links software and hardware
- Radio: The thingy that sends and receives messages, calls and data.
- Flash: Installing a zipped file in Recovery Mode
- Recovery: The software that allows tweaking and flashing, and other weird stuff that will destroy your phone.
- Fastboot: The thingy that allows recovery mode to happen.
- Brick: The term says it all.
- Bootloader: Quite literal; loads the phone for bootup.
- Nandroid backup: A backup-ed image of your current system
- ADB: Android Debug Bridge; some command line tool that sends information from and to the phone to, and from the computer
- CWM: ClockWorkMod; a recovery system
- XDA: The holy website that is full of weird stuff that makes your phone wayyyy better.
Now let's paint a picture:
Imagine you are your Android phone.
Before "rooting", you are trapped in jail.
Upon "rooting and unlocking", you are released from jail.
You go to a shopping mall named "XDA".
You find a credit card lying on the floor from the company "Recovery". On the back, it says there is no passcode required, and there is a infinite amount of money inside.
You enter a store and get a sweatshirt with the word "ROM" on it.
You didn't buy the shirt, the shirt just happens to be free, but still requires you to swipe your credit card anyways.
You keep the receipt as a "backup", just in case the shirt spoils.
Just then, you get greedy and get all the badges in the store.
Stupidly, you pin all the badges on your shirt, turning it as heavy as a "brick".
Then, the shirt rips, unable to put (it rhymes with boot) it back together again.
Luckily you still have the receipt to return the shirt, and return back to your good old disgusting shirt.

ROOT + UNLOCK + TWRP RECOVERY:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nextbit-robin/development/tool-robin-toolkit-v1-0-root-twrp-t3375908
(kudos to @daavm)
1. Download the tool
2. Just follow the instructions
**NOTE: Relocking again will result in data wipe**
FLASHING:
Clean Flash:
1. Backup your data!
2. Reboot into TWRP Recovery
3. Go into settings and enable “Use Aroma File Manager”
4. Wipe Dalvik, Cache, System & Data
5. Flash your chosen ROM, basebands, firmware updates and other crap
6. Flash any GApps package. (the one I use: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/gapps-lp-gapps-pa-gapps-aroma-installer-t3010798; kudos to @raulx222 & @slim Team)
7. Flash anything else (e.g. frameworks, boot animations, splash screens, themes etc.)
8. Reboot
9. DONE!
OR:
Dirty Flash: (flashing without wiping anything, used for updating to newer ROMs or reflashing)
1. Reboot into TWRP Recovery
2. ONLY wipe Dalvik Cache
3. Flash your chosen ROM, basebands, firmware updates and other crap
4. Flash any NEWER GApps package. If you manually installed/updated through Play Store, skip this step.
5. Flash anything else (e.g. frameworks, boot animations, splash screens, themes etc.)
6. Reboot
7. DONE!
It is perfectly fine if the first bootup takes a while, that is perfectly normal. Upon boot, Android will optimize itself so just let it do it’s work. Do put the phone under a fan as it does tend to get hot when optimizing since it is at max brightness or some dumb reason.
If it takes ages (like over 10mins) to boot up, it means you might have bricked your phone! Do source the XDA indices for any unbricking tutorial, or keep a lookout for an update on this page for instructions. (I don’t have any/don’t need to find any as I have never bricked any Android, so ya.)

DO NOT dirty flash if your newer ROM:
- Doesn't allow/support it
- Has a major update
- Has a Android version or firmware jump (e.g. from Lollipop to M)
- Is a totally different ROM from the previous one (e.g. from Stock to Cyanogenmod)
If after dirty flashing you experience any ROM issues (e.g. battery drain, lag etc.), I would advice you to do a clean flash instead.

RESTORING BACKUP:
Titanium Backup Method:
1. Use “Titanium Backup” batch restore
2. Menu -> Batch

4. Once done, go to Backup/Restore on the main app interface
5. Restore manually: Calendar Storage, Internet Bookmarks, Messaging SMS/MMS Prefs, Phone SMS/MMS/APN, User Dictionary, Wi-Fi Access Points**
6. Launcher Settings: (assuming you use Nova Launcher) Settings -> Backup & import settings -> Restore or manage backups
**What can I manually restore?**
Red: DO NOT RESTORE, YOU’LL END UP BRICKING/BOOTLOOPING YOUR PHONE!!!
White: 99% safe, go ahead
Green: 70% safe, beware of potential brick
Grey Stirkethrough: DO NOT RESTORE

Ad-Free
- Download "AdAway" app from F-Droid
https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=org.adaway
Control
- Download "SELinux Mode Changer" from F-Droid
https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdfilter=selinuxmodechanger&fdid=com.mrbimc.selinux
Task Management
- Download "Greenify" or "Servicely"

http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/francisco-franco/servicely/
Honestly, I don't encourage battery managers such as "Battery Doctor" or "Clean Master (Speed Booster)" as realistically, it takes up more battery or RAM in trying to keep the app open to "properly manage the battery". Yes there are benefits such a having a zippier G3, but there are better methods out there.

CHAPTER 8: ADDITIONAL INFO
- Device Architecture
Architecture: arm64 + arm
Screen DPI: 480
Drawable Class: xxhdpi (extra extra high density)
Google Play services - Build Suffix: (-448)
How does this affect me?
Well, when you install apps, downloading the correct arch version means the app is better optimised for our phone (and you'll potentially save some internal storage space too!)
As for Google Play services, you MUST install the correct build version. (Example: v9.0.90 (448-xxxxxxxx) )
