I don't know which audio mod suits my needs. I'm on the maximus rom, and experienced that the speaker volume is a bit low. I don't use headphones, just the internal speaker. Which mod do I need to enhance and improve the volume. Is it the viperx mod, the purexaudio mod or something else?

There is no viperx mod only viper4android and that has nothing to do with the Rom...second, Pxa is onlyfor headphones...use viper4android fx app and you can tweak the speakers....just download install the app then install in the app the drivers reboot and go into app then phone speaker and you can tweak

Viper4Android Settings
For Phone Speaker:
[FIR Equalizer Bands]
27hz -12dB
55hz -9dB
109hz +6dB
219hz +9dB
438hz -3dB
875hz 0dB
2khz +1dB
4khz 0dB
7khz -6dB
14khz -3dB
[Extra Loud]
eXtra-Loud Enabled
Effect Strength Moderate
Max Gain 8x
Max Output -1dB
--
This gives nice loudness in phone speakers while making it more listenable, calibrated using distance of phone held at arm's length, hand semi cupped around the back.
If you tend to use the phone to play music while screen is facing down, consider knocking the top 2 EQ bands off a few more dB.

Now there are a few sound mods out there that increase the quality of the bass and whatnot.
I'm just looking for one that will add a "Sound Enhancer" on my Music application and give me the option to choose between ClearAudio+ or WOW SRS, but I don't want all those notification things like the one where you can choose between the Sound Enhancement modes or the EQS bar and whatever.
Could anyone help me out?

Do you installed lyapotas modpack too? If yes did you selected purexaudio ? If you don't have this mod pack and don't want to flash search in android development for zeroinfinitys pureXaudio sound mod and just flash it...its atm the best out here

Hey
How can I increase the speaker volume on CM10.1 ROM´s ?
There are many MOD´s but I dont think that they are for HTC ONE X.
I used v4a (viper4android) sound app, there's a setting for xtra loud on speaker section. I found this very good when on any aosp Rom

For sound you can install viper4android just search in Google or xda for the thread ...and custom kernel there are some from xm and neo but you have to rrpack and try if it works

THX app viper4android working great with android 4.3
Cm has dsp manager which you can use to adjust the eq.
Audio compression (same thing beats uses to increase volume) is the option you'll be looking at as well as loudness compensation.
