Install the Indian 4.2.2 firmware. After that you will be able to update through kies or via ota, when available. And don't Root your phone, otherwise you will not be able to update.

Unless you use a stock (own local country) rom, you cannot update thru Kies.

I have the United States P5210 Tab and I'm running stock 4.2.2 (rooted). I just ran KIES and it said an update was available (Kitkat I assume).
I realize if I install this I will lose root. Has anyone installed the US version of KitKat and then successfullty rooted their Tab? If so, what thread/method did you follow?
Here's the KIES message
Current firmware version : PDA:NB2 / CSC:NB2 (XAR)
Latest firmware version : PDA:NH2 / CSC:NH2 (XAR)
Thanks
EDIT: I went ahead and did the KIES update and followed that with the recovery/root steps from the OP. Worked fine

I currently have Android 4.1.2, and I want to install 4.4.2
I can't find firmware device with my PDA and CSC on Sammobile website.
My PDA=CSC is N7100ZSLLB1
Can it install some other firmware?
What should I do?

If your phone is not locked on any carrier you can just download and flash the openline/unlocked that is available in your country..
use ODIN to flash the latest firmware.

Flashing is a risky procedure. Don't do it unless absolutely necessary.
I recommend you to use OTA update to upgrade to 4.3 and then to 4.4.2. It is safe and smooth. You don't lose anything.
Press thumps up if you found this suggestion helpful.

I have Lollipop, Root & Xposed.
The last days i have seen that Samsung starts to release new versions of the Note 3 Neo Lollipop, as informed from SamMobile, and normally it'll be available and as OTA Updates.
But for us that we are rooted is there any way to install this OTA Update? (e.g. via Chainfire's FlashFire)

I flashed the stock marshmallow firmware and now when I check the software update from about phone menu it is showing that your software is up to date. Is there any way to get the Nougat update through OTA?
