I love it!

Hello guys,
my beloved HTC Touch Cruise has died, lcd display crashed and it's not cheap ti repair it.
So I finally bought my new HTC Desire!
I'm happy! It should be like a dream, and thanks to Market and you, my friends, I have almost everything I need!
Only a few small things I miss, and I ask you if someone can help me:
1) text messages are not marked or divided between received and sent ... I tried two apps called SMS Manager and SMS Manager Pro, but do not work on my Desire. Then I found n2manager SMS ... but in the Sent folder shows the phone numbers and not contact names, so I uninstalled it too.
2) my Cruise with MobiolaWebCam application was a webcam for my pc, via usb cable or bluethoot. Is there anything like this for Desire?

Not sure if you can do that, but there is a 3rd party app called Qik. "It lets you share the experience with your friends, family and the world – LIVE from your mobile phone. You can upload your vids onto facebook, youtube and twitter as well.

This actually works! no lag at all!
It seems to have some problems with yahoo and msn but skype works perfect!
Search for USB webcam on market for the app.

Facebook Inside Xperia Incorrect Birthdays

Am I the only one which notices that the birthdays of my friends through the FBiX service are one day ahead of what they are supposed to be? Any fix?

Same problem here on my old Lt15i and on my current LT26i.
But I saw the same problem in other models, such as the Samsung Galaxy. The only thing in common was the version of Android, 2.3.x

its most likely a bug/error in the app
-if you've haven't updated FbiX try updating it
-if its been updated, its probably an error on the FbiX app and facebook has to fix it
an android version of any phone has nothing to do with the problem, its the app itself which has to be fixed/updated

I've had innumerable errors when using Sony's Facebook Inside Xperia. Plus syncing events and birthdays used to eat up my data. So have frozen all except the fb main app and Messenger.
I've exported all to Google Calendar and synced with my account. Plus it has this nifty feature wherein it can SMS you a day prior to the birthday. Never miss a birthday again! :highfive:
For fb contact pictures, I'm using HaxSync.

[Q] Zooper Widget Problems

So I just bought zooper widget pro and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what but I've tried adding a couple different music widgets and it seems that they don't work... I've tried apollo and google play music apps and neither work... Am I missing a setting somewhere or something? Appreciate the help!

For a lot of the Zooper and UCCW widgets you need this app to be able to use the Music widgets:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.batescorp.notificationmediacontrols.alpha.

Hello there! I'm from Brazil.
I always loved to customize my Galaxy S3 home screen. I have always been using UCCW.
I have always heard about Zooper Widget, but have never tried. Then I did it... And realiazed how I was wasting time with UCCW.
Zooper is, by far, much more customizable, it is easier and faster as well.
So I decided to purchase the Pro version, but a few days ago, the banks here in Brazil were not approving the credit card international purchases in Google Play Store, because the prices were in Reais (Brazil's currency), and people were not been warned that they would be charged with some taxes.
I was really lookin forward to try the Zooper Widget Pro version. Then, for the fisrt time in my 'android life', I downloaded an APK file. And installed it...
I loved Zooper. I created so many widgets by myself... It is amazing..
Now, the credit card issue I told you above is gone. I can finally purchase the Pro version then.
Would somebody please tell me what should I do, so I won't loose all the widgets I created with the APK file I've downloaded and installed??
I tried Google Play Store, but it shows that Zooper Widget Pro is already installed.
Should I uninstall it, delete the APK, and then buy the app??
How can I restore all my widgets then??
That's it. I hope someone can help me with that.
PS: sorry if I don't make myself clear, my english is not that good.

The hun is unique because it's everything on me app. There isn't a need to open Facebook to reply to a message or open email to send an email. It's all right there.. Not opening apps to replay to anything or see anything. The. Hub is where it all is
