Doesn't auto connect to phone network - FIXED - LG Optimus G (International)

Good day.
I have a E975, from Orange (Spain).
I unlocked the bootloader with Free Gee
I had the last stock update from my provider, the one that allowed 4G networks. It worked correctly on stock.
After a reboot, it doesn't connect to the mobile network, but it does connect if I go to the network settings and pick the correct network (Orange).
It doesn't connect either if I choose the "Automatic network selection option", I have to manually pick the network.
It happens to me using CyanogenMod and Paranoid Android, in their last versions.
Does this happen to anybody else? Is there any solution?
Thank you.
EDIT:
Fixed it.
I restored EFS from FreeGee.
Thank you.

Rooted Desire - Now no data connection

Just rooted my Desire using instructions from Modaco, but have the following issue :
I have no data connection. No matter what I try it always tells me 'unable to connect, you need a network connection in order to..... etc. Wifi is off at present (not one around at work) and all the settings are to Vodafone as they should be. Can make/receive calls without issue. It's a fully unlocked phone so no idea why it's suddenly not able to connect data wise. This is the case whether I try to setup Exchange, browse the web or open Facebook etc.
Any ideas please anyone? I've checked all settings, rebooted etc but to no avail.
Someone, somewhere said that in some cases (don't remember which) APNs presets are missing after rooting. Check your APN setting.
1. Make sure your APN settings are 100 correct.
2. Go to Menu--Settings-->Wireless and networks-->Mobile Networks-->Network Mode--Switch to GPRS and then Back to Auto
Worked for me.
Regards
Mo
GOod call, it was the APN settings. Added one as below and all connected straight away :
Name : Vodafone
APN : Internet
Username : web
Password : web

Are you using a Branded or UnBranded Desire??
see this thread for more info

But at a guess you might need a GoldCard and then Flash it with a new ROM/Radio settings

[Q] {10-25-2012}{Rom}{ICS} Official Global CM9

* Unfortunately, I'm having the same problems with this ROM on HSDPA that I was having on aeroevan's ROM. GSM is found immediately on boot, however, HSDPA is very flakey. It will succeed in connecting every now and again, but then randomly drops the signal and won't reconnect. I thought maybe I just had a weak 3G signal where I was testing, but I have a BB Bold for work as well and that can easily maintain a 3G connection on the same network. I also had no problem way back in the day with CM7.2, but that ship has sailed .
Also, when the phone is in WCDMA preferred mode, after a while the phone will lose all connections (usually after a reboot but not always), including to GSM and when I go to reselect my network operator I get the message "Error while searching for networks". No matter how many times I reboot the phone or switch to "GSM Only" or "GSM/WCDMA auto" it never lets me again select my network provider.
As I said, I ran into the same problems with aero's port, so its not specific to this ROM.
* Situation are me after uproom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932573), spent two days lost wave, down to the original room (fullwipe finished down about 2.3.4). So lose the 3G network always in global mode (global), 3G users they will never be, but 2G ok (you spend vina sim and have installed APV vina). The physician who has experience helping hand factories. Thank a lot.
I don't known?
I do not understand.Specific guidance for me? please!

BTW, I don't understand this part.
I would suggest reading through the entire thread of Aeroevan's rom that you were describing as well as the Global CM9 thread. During your reading you may find and answer in there. I have found more answers that way than waiting on someone to direct me there anyway. That is all the advice I can provide with my limited knowledge.
Help me

Ok, I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem as you. I hope I don't offend you but I am going to take a guess and say that english is not your first language as some of that is difficult for me to read and completely understand. From what I am gathering is you can connect to your carriers network but only on a temporary basis. Here are the steps I followed to connect to Verizon's network using {10-25-2012}{Rom}{ICS} Official Global CM9 - After a full wipe and clean install and after initial setup I went to (doing this from memory as I don't have it installed at the moment) Settings --> More --> Mobile Networks --> chose CDMA w/EVDO --> Exit out of settings and rebooted. When the phone booted up it recognized the Verizon network and all service and data was all working, I didn't have to change the APN settings at all. If you are still having trouble staying connected I suggest you check the version of radio you are using and consider updating it. Here is the radio thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134451 I don't think I am the best person to assist you but just telling you what I would do if I were in your situation.
3G disconnect, only use 2G (GSM). Help me!

I have been having the same problem. Flashed CM10 after full wipe, mobile network (for verizon) is CDMA w/EVDO, tried rebooting and switching and wiping and re-flashing but I have no wifi and bad 3G. When I revert to stock everything is fine. How can I fine the latest radio for CM10, I didn't see any JB in the thread link.

Preferred network type won't change

Hi,
i'm currently running the latest CM13 and have a problem with the Preferred network type. It stays on "LTE (recommended)" and i can't change it to 3G or 2G. In Phone information (*#*#4636#*#*) it stays on "GSM only" and won't change to anything.
When i go back to LG's Stock 6.0 all changes work. With previous versions of CM13 (first 5 versions i think) it works also.
Does anyone have any idea?

I have the same issue on my LG G4 h815. I cleanly flashed the latest nightly of CM13 (cm-13.0-20160102-NIGHTLY-h815.zip), after first upgrading to the stock 20A image and installed TWRP. I flashed CM13 using TWRP. Then I flashed nano gapps. H+ is the fastest cell tech here, and my phone just can't use the cell network (it seems to connect, but never shows H+ and no data bits are routed). And when I went into the menu to select 3G as the preferred network, it won't let me change it from LTE. It clicks when I choose 3G and 2G, but the selection stays on LTE. When I go into the special menu for radio options, same thing, I can't select a different network mode (it simply stays on the current selection). Wifi works just fine, but cell phone use doesn't work -- no calls, no data. I also upgraded to the next nightly, but it didn't make any difference in behavior.
@Chipstepper Can you tell me which CM13 image worked? I'm going to try cm-13.0-20151125-NIGHTLY-h815.zip ..
Same Problem here on my Moto X 2014. I tried every CM13 nightly between Christmas and early January. I was never able to change the Radiobutton in Preferred Networks and connection in phone information was always GSM only. I also tried a clean flash of the cm-13.0-20160108 nightly, still the same problem.
Now I switched back to my CM12.1 backup where it's working.
Can somebody name a nightly where it's confirmed working?

Selected Network Unavailable until network manually selected

Hello everyone.
I have an HTC One M8, which has been converted to GPE, running Android 6.0 MRA58K. Last week I was out of my country and while I was travveling I got a local SIM to use mobile data at a lower cost. The phone however, would not connect to the carrier's network until I manually selected it in mobile network settings. This also started happening after I returned to my home country and switched back to the SIM of my home carrier. This was with both MRA58K.H10 and H12 versions of the stock GPE ROM. However, while I was updating the device to H12, for a short time the phone didn't have Xposed or root, and during that time the phone would connect to the network automatically as usual. When I re-rooted and installed Xposed again, it would no longer connect.
I know it's just a minor inconvenice, but it does take a good 30 seconds for it to search for networks and register. How would I start troubleshooting this?

I have the very same problem with H6 and H12. After every boot I need to manually select my network. Searching the networks takes ages. Phone is unlocked and s-on, it runs with sense drivers, but gpe rom.

No signal, No network, YES Imei

Hi everyone, good morning
I pose this problem ...
I updated my GT-N7100 from the stock version 4.4.2 to 7.1 RR, which is why the phone was no longer lit. The Samsung word appeared looping at its ignition and no reset options worked.
All after the battery suddenly abandoned me!
After the upgrade, unfortunately the mobile network is no longer detected, or rather, the phone does not hook up the signal even if mobile networks are detected (select networks, Vodafone, Tim, Wind, Tre).
If I try to hook my network manually (Tim), the error is the inability to record.
I checked IMEI and is present, and, as mentioned above, networks if you look manually are seen.
I've downgraded to version 4.2.2 to figure out if the problem was about rom, but even with this version the network is not hooked up.
I also tried with other sim, but nothing in fact.
Unfortunately the backup I made did not go well and did not save the files in the EFS folder .... the badge sees us well !!!!!
Do you have any suggestions?
I also tried to reflect the rom Viper, but no change in the network ...
What other tests could I do? Thank you all!
