I am certainly not introduced to w100, w125 ... the device is also not in the contributor list ... if it is ISC then you can use root kit from walton g1 in my walton thread

The symphony W125 is running a rather custom Version of jb 4.1.2.
Binary,super one click etc doesn't work,
The phone was rebranded from xolo q800,
So tried its rooting method,
But it seems symphony changed the ROM,memory block locations AND POSSIBLY CLOSED THE LOOPHOLES in the preloader.
Xolo q800 rooting method =no recovery,untouched OS.
Fail.

To flash that zip, a custom recovery is required,
Symphony w125 has a basic stock recovery,
And attempting to flash a custom recovery via flash tool erases the recovery entirely.
First we need to get some kind of custom recovery on that device,
And without root=no stock recovery.
No stock recovery=no custom recovery.
Its a vicious circle.

well can you pull the stock recovery.img from your phone and provide it here .... then i will try tom compile one cwm besed on stock then you can use my script to root your jb ....
Now type in adb :
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 of=/sdcard/recovery.img
Akta file recovery.img name sdcard e joma hobe....

As I said above,
I cant pull the stock recovery without Root,
the "su" terminal command requires root to work.
No root=cant pull stock recovery.
no stock recovery=no custom recovery.

Oh then use SP flashtools to pull the recovery.img ... :good: and with sp flash tools you dont need root ....
Would you mind telling me HOW to pull the recovery using sp flashtool?
BTW There is no "scatter file" for the MT6589 used on the W125.

every MTK device has an scatter file for it ... use mtk droid tools to get the scatter file and use this guide to pull the recovery ...

I no longer have access to the device but,
Pulling the scatter file was successful,
The boot.img has also been pulled(Not by me).
I cant find the recovery partition.
So I cant pull it.

Whole rom is based on Cm10 FreeXperia Project from 17.05.2013.
As i know camera is only 720p (cyanogenmod).and you must couple times press home button to activate task killer.
Please post any other bugs.

Go to meta-inf>Com>Google>Android>updater-script>
Remove this line in notepad++
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "galaxys2" || getprop("ro.buildproduct") == "galaxys2"
Save and exit.
replace new updater script with original script ..
now start flashing ..

No, I didn't.
that error message said I'm flashing it from neither XS or S2
but I AM flashing it from XS
It's solved now
I found that I can flash it from FXP
but I can't flash it from stock rom 6.1.A.2.55
pretty weird
Setting contact images(or avatars) gets a FC, kills the entire system, forces launcher to redraw.
Edit: works by going through the gallery.

The problem with task killer can be solved by the following steps:
- settings
- Buttons & keys
- Home key --> select "None" instead of the default "Launch Recent panel"
Long-pressing home key still brings the list of recent application and task killer.
Only this instruction install?

Only that instruction which is standard for installing almost any custom rom.
In next hour Fixed Release 3.5.23 is going to be uploaded.
Build is based on MIUI Official Release 3.5.17.
At the begining of next week official 3.5.24 will be online and also ported version for XS ,so i hope more bugfixes and battery optimisation.

:: Now You’ll Get “Create Unlock Request” Page.Enter Your Name, Email Address & IMEI (Which You’ve Noted in Essential Steps Mentioned Above).
:: You’ll Now Get Unique Key Which Will Be Displayed On The Screen. Save It Safely As We Will Require It In Next Part Of The Article.
:: Open CMD in your computer and type "cd (location of Fastboot Folder)".
:: Again Connect Your Device To PC by pressing and holding the Volume Up button.
:: Now In Command Prompt (CMD) Type The Following Command :
fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
:: If Value is Returned (It Should return 0.5), It Means Device is Connected Properly.

Zero Meta Inf Package Is Fixed.Redownload Rom From Link In OP,And then Change Updater Script.
Or just Copy Meta Inf From 3.7.19 Release.

I just got my Sony z3 6603 a few days a ago. I was trying to build cm and never thought of the screen glitch as a kernel issue. Good catch.

I try everything possible to get out of this. I read a lot of adreno drivers. From what i read my conclusion is for the same commercial chipset name (adreno 330) there is multiples qualcomm manufacture and our msm8974 only had a 3.4 driver released. Turning on all the possible debugs in the kernel and the display hal doesn't really help. Seems it is due to a 'timeout when idle' issue.
Btw all officials sony roms are released with kernel 3.4.
So i revert back the build tree to 3.4
Working on camera yet. Try to include a minimal working one for the today release.

Yea, I didn't see anything in the logs about the kernel glitch. I tried changing out the adreno drivers, but still had the screen glitch. I was thinking it was a kernel issue because my twrp recovery was showing the glitch too.
Fyi, wifi is still broken in the latest release.

Can you provide me a full log?
Also the first time i got it working, i need to remove the /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf due to permission denied error. (something about wpa_supplicant failed repetitively in the logs).

No problems. I think wifi needs wpa_suppliant.conf. Could be a sepolicy issue. Setting the kernel to permissive mode should allow me to run catlog through adb and see if it's s sepolicy issue or not.
Actually the WiFi paths weren't set correctly, after fixing that WiFi works fine.

Ooh... It isn't connect! apn is unperfectly. Sorry about wrong feedback.. and I will update titanium backup and restore data again. When I reboot my phone, this app says password data is broken. So I think restore data has something wrong..

Continuously "asking" "where's the UPDATE.ZIP" is NOT DONE!
Be aware, it's NOT very easy to pull the UPDATE.ZIP, and is done by persons in their free time! ( i.e. Cyber John )
If you "can't wait" for the UPDATE.ZIP, pull it yourself and post it here!
Samsung is starting a Beta-program Android 10/OneUI 2 for the Note10-series. In this thread, we'll post the UPDATE.ZIP files (when available).
REMEMBER: don't install these files if you want to have a STABLE phone! As this is a BETA, it's possible the firmware isn't BUG-free!
The UPDATE.ZIP files are pulled from a GERMAN (DBT)-device; be sure your device is on the N975FXXU1ASJ2 build! (Radio/CP & CSC must be on: ASIC (Radio/CP) & ASJ2 (CSC))
The UPDATE.ZIP can be installed on devices with the following CSC's:

How to install the UPDATE.ZIP to your Note10+ (by @madvinegar ); YouTube-video by SStech
ADB-method:
1. Download SDK platform tools from here https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
2. Extract them on your desktop.
3. Inside the extracted folder put the update.zip
4. Inside this folder, holding left shift, right click the mouse and select "open command prompt here". The command prompt will open.
5. Shutdown the phone.
6. Holding power+bixby+volume up buttons, enter into recovery mode.
7. Select "update via ADB". (you scroll down using the volume buttons and select using the power button).
8. Connect the phone to the PC using original samsung USB cable.
9. In the command prompt run the following command:
./adb devices
10. Wait to see that the daemon has started and that your device is found.
11. If you device is found, run the following command:
./adb sideload update.zip
The update process will start. You will see a percentage counting. First it will verify, then patch etc. Do not move the cable, disconnect the phone or power off the PC.
Once the process is completed (it takes some time) the phone will boot itself, update the apps and log into your home screen.
SD-card method:
1. Download the bin file and rename it to update.zip (by going to file options in win10 you can select to view the file extensions. This makes the renaming process much easier and safer, and avoids renaming the file to update.zip.zip)
2. Copy it to the root directory of your SDcard.
3. Shut down your phone.
4. Hold simultaneously Power+bixby+volume up buttons to get into stock recovery.
5. Using your volume keys navigate to "update via SdCard" and press power button to select it.
6. Again using volume keys navigate to the file "update.zip" and press power button to select it.
7. Update will start. Leave it till it completes. It will take some time.
8. Phone will reboot by itself and load android.
This will not trip KNOX if done by the method i told
NOTE: THESE UPDATE.ZIP's ARE ONLY FOR DEVICES WITH MULTI-CSC OXM!!!
You can check this, to type in your dialer *#1234#, and check if OXM is in the CSC-build...

RENAME THE FILE TO update.zip
NOTE: after installing the update, CLEAR your cache by going into recovery (VolUP - Power)
If you want to run the BETA-firmware flawlessly, do a FACTORY-reset afterwards... (not necessary, but... )
UPDATING to Beta is your own choice, and I don't take responsibility if something is going wrong!
If you're NOT officially registered, you WON'T receive OTA: you'll have to update everytime MANUALLY with above method!!!
If you want to DOWNGRADE back to Pie: download the latest Pie-firmware for your own CSC, flash AP BL CP & CSC_OXM -> your device will reset afterwards which is mandatory!
In previous BETA releases being able to connect devices such as your watch has been very hit and miss.
There was a thread somewhere about Android 10 and it not connecting to the Active 2 watch. Just something to keep in mind if you are considering updating to the BETA and have such devices
Note 10 android beta delayed until 24.10, maybe.

Yes: was mentioned in my 1st post (1st line)
Wonder if it's to do with the whole fingerprint with screen protector issue that's going on at the minute. Maybe they want to get that in the beta and that's why it's delayed.
Wouldn't flashing the update.zip file directly via the recovery menu work? nor not trip knox? When pie beta was released last year for the note9, flashing the update file directly worked. I remember I was at the airport that time and just couldn't wait to get home to flash it so I did everything there with only a charging port available around.

We had to flush update.zip via adb on s10 last week.
Anyway, old news, my new n10 is coming Thursday on potential beta day too lol

Note 10 Plus has no Power Button, Probably the Bixby button is meant?
6. Odin v3.13.3 must be on ,connect cable (original) to your phone then holding VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP than connect cable in PC USB = enter into recovery mode.

You DON'T go to "recovery mode" when you're doing this (you'll enter in ODIN-mode!)
More specific: odin on, phone off, attach cable to phone, push VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN same time, attach cable to usb pc . Voilà!

Yes, that´s right No Power off Button but Bixby Button is Power On button if device off My Mistake

three uk devices are sold unlocked apparently, does this mean i dont need to play around with the csc to get the beta to bite??
