S4 mini root - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I rooted my S4 min GT-i9195 per these instructions
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2364980
but I can't boot into CWM to install recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7-serranoltexx.tar.md5 from zip file. Phone keeps booting into Android system recovery <3a> which only has apply update from external storage which doesn't work. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or how to correct the problem?

[Q] CWM and rooting issue

Hi guys.
I am unable to flash CWM or root my i9082. I followed the guide and even successfully installed cwm but when I boot into cwm it says no command found and automatically boots into stock recovery. Then when I tried to install rooting package from stock recovery it says E:Signature verification failed even though when i have not changed the name of the rooting package.
Can someone help me. I have Android 4.2.2 on my galaxy i9082 duos.
I even tried philz recovery but still same.
Thanks

First of all..... you must place the "UPDATE-SuperSu-v1.25.zip" & "Fix-Recovery.zip" file in the root of external SD card....
While installing CWM using ODIN you must uncheck the "Auto reboot" option in the odin.....
after succesfull flashing of CWM remove the battery for 10 second and reinsert in after 10 sec....
now boot the phone in recovery using "vol up+home+power key" & not to the stock rom..... if you boot into rom.... the CWM will be automatically replaced by the stock recovery.....
after booting into CWM go to Install from SD card and flash the Fix-Recovery.Zip" first and then flash the super user....
and now you are done....
if you cant flash the fix recovery the after booting to rom it will again reverted to stock recovery...
hit THANKS if it helps you....

After CWM install and then rooting (suing method/files from sticky) following happens
1. System started once
2. All colors were replaced with electronic green (if you know what i mean)
3. System doesn't restart anymore
4. System restarts always and only to CWM
5. On each exit from CWM, User is asked to flash ROOT
6. On each and other system flash, device reboots to CWM only,

I am not a pro (n00b), but I would update it with the official Android first (http://androidcentral.us/2014/01/update-galaxy-tab-3-7-0-sm-t210r-to-official-android-4-1-2/) .. and start all over again

2 things indicate that your system partition is messed up.
Only boots to recovery
CWM ask to flash root
CWM will ask to flash root, only if it can't find the "root" files in the system partition. If it asks every time, then it isn't able to properly install those root files for some reason.
Download the stock firmware from sammobile.com.
Do a format of your system and data partitions in recovery.
Then, boot into download mode and use Odin to reflash the stock firmware.

Samsung galaxy s4 mini cm 13.0 bootloop

A few days ago I decided to update my galaxy s4 mini to the latest cyanogenmod nightly rom, But I forgot to wipe the data. After the installation was done ther was only a bootloop, after the android apps where installed the boot begans over again. And I can't access the sd-card in the recovery (cm recovery). There is only the option: update zip and not install zip, when i press on update zip and choose the sd-card, then it says ''installation aborded". I don't know what do do now, Is there anyone who knows a solution?
Sorry for my bad English.

Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
you can flash TWRP via Odin

Samsung S4 Mini GT-I9192 Dual Sim Cannot Start Phone

Dear All,
Here's the problem:
The Goal: To Install CM-12.1 Custom ROM
What I have done:
1. Installed TWRP Recovery Manager and no matter how many times I tried, was unable to install TWRP Recovery
2. Installed Flashify, not possible to install TWRP, CWM or any other recovery!
3. Installed Rashr and finally was able to get PhilZ Touch 6 Recovery installed on the phone.
Rebooted to recovery and it's working! Great!
Now, I have the CM-12.1 zip file on the external SD card but can't flash the ROM no matter how many times I try. Yes, I did wipe factory reset and all the wipes possible, NOT ABLE TO INSTALL the Custom ROM.
The real problem now is that before I tried installing the custom ROM, I accidentally made a mistake, a really bad one too.
When my phone was starting normally, in Flashify (or Rashr, I don't remember now) I selected the downloaded TWRP recovery image for Kernel and rebooted the phone. Yes, a dumb move, I know, but for some stupid reason I did that! And now the phone won't start!!!
Getting this msg:
Set Warranty Bit: kernel
Plus, when I boot into Philz Touch 6 recovery, not able to install ROM or do anything else either.
I managed to install Aroma File Manager, and deleted some of the twrp recovery images, but still getting the kernel error.
Also, in Philz Touch recovery, I have done something wrong and I think I may have lost ROOT access. Tried several times to Re-Root Super SU but it says now install Super SU from the Market. How can I install Super SU from market if I cannot get the phone to start in the first place.
Anyway, if anyone knows how to fix these issues or has experienced similar problems, please share the steps you took to solve the problem.
All the help is appreciated!
Thanks vey much in advance!!!
P.S. Please write in comments if any screen capture is needed.
BOOTLOOP!
If anyone can, please help, I can't use my phone for over a week now!!!
the phone is stuck in bootloop!
the recovery I was using apparently wasn't the right version for my gt-i9192 and for some stupid reason it thought that my phone is gt-i9190!!! i was using twrp 3.0.0.0 serrano3gxx by the way. and i could not install the custom rom, the right rom for gt-i9192... because the recovery thinks my phone is gt-i9190... stupid right
so i installed openrecovery-twrp-2.8.7.0-serranodsxx-STABLE-signed zip file using the twrp recovery itself. and now i can't even go to recoery mode!!! WOW!! I think i ****ed up this phone big time!!!
i know there was a warning to not install the recovery using the recovery itself, but i didn't have a choice.
i did that because Odin is not working for my phone!! can't install anything with odin...
it just gets stuck and never finishes the flash. can't install anything with odin, nothing at all. just gets stuck!!
so now the problem is this stupid bootloop and on top of that i can't even get the phone to start the recovery, when I try, it goes back to this bootloop problem. by the way this is the bootloop msg:
Set Warranty Bit : kernel IN YELLOW COLOUR and the phone logo: Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9192

Not able to install twrp

Hi..i have a Samsung galaxy grand...it is not rooted...i tried to install twrp recovery using odin...it was successful but once i boot into recovery it shows system recovery...and the device status too change from custom(after flashing using odin) to official after restart. Please help me
Hey...the problem is solved...i disabled auto restart and it worked...but now there is another problem...when i backup my system the phone automatically restarts after some time without completing the backup...my twrp version is 2.8.6.0. Is there something wrong with my twrp version or something else...please help...
