Can't connect to LTE on Cm10.1 - LG Optimus G Pro

I have the at&t e980.
Ever since I went to a AOSP ROM I do not have LTE.
I have the correct APN, I have LTE enabled in my toggles.
I just installed the 9/7 build of cm10.1, and tried to flash the e980 modem from the CM10.1 OP, and got stuck in a bootloop.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try the PTA one, i had to use that APN to get LTE going on my E980 as well. both on cm10.1 roms and stock debloated rom.
weird you got stuck in a bootloop? ive flashed the modem many times with no issues. try and download the modem from the original TOT post and flash that one instead. thats the one that ive flashed and its worked every time.
also what recovery are you using? ive had heaps of issues with TWRP and switched to CWM and have had a lot less issues.

Canadian T889V - CyanogenMod Question

I have a Note 2 SGH-T889V from Wind.
I've been playing around with a few roms and have been using LiquidSmooth for a while which is pretty good, but I would like to try out CyanogenMod.
Has anyone installed CM on a T889V before? Will it be safe to wipe everything, flash the t0ltetmo nightly from here, and then flash the stock T889V modem from here?
EDIT: Also, I would like to update my CWM from 6.0.1.4 to 6.0.3.0; Do I get the T-Mobile (recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.0-t0ltetmo.img) one or the HSPA+ one? I don't want to use ROM Manager to update it because it says my device is GT-N7105, which it isn't.
You shouldn't have to flash your modem going between ROMs. Searching for T889V and bootloop will in fact tell you it's not that good an idea.
The GT-N7105 is the international LTE Note II. The CWM for it will also work for the other LTE Note II variants, including the T889V. The one thing that does come to mind is that its build.prop will report an N7105 to scripts that check for device prior to flashing. Not usually that big of a deal.

I used this root method: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-easiest-method/
Then, to flash ROMs, I wipe everything, flash the T-Mobile ROM, then the Canadian modem. I have flashed this way around 5 or 6 times without any problems..

Be careful not to flash a T-Mobile radio. I lost my IMEI and had to follow a bunch of complex steps to get it back. I can't put a Wind modem on my phone anymore though.

[Q] installing cm10.1

Ive been trying to install cm10.1 on my E975 since RC2 and for some reason none of the zips will work. I am currently running Rootbox and using TWRP v.2.4.3.0. Every time i've wiped the device, factory reset and tried to flash the zip, I get a md5sum error. I've downloaded every zip from RC2 all the way up to the stable release and they all do the same thing. Am i missing something here? I can flash any other rom and by backups work just fine, but when it comes to CM10.1 it doesnt want to play nice at all. T_T can someone help me possibly?

Possibly wrong phone forum..if your downloading from sprint lgog forum on your e975 might be whyits not working the sprint version is lg-ls970
i beleive this is the forum you are wanting the lgog international version??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1838
Well I looked it up and it says on both here and cyanogenmod.com that the ls970 is the same as the e975. I rooted and downloaded rootbox using the xda forums for the e975 as well. I'm just at a loss a to what to do.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Did you check the MD5 to make sure they match?
The 975 is nearly the same as the 970, but not exactly, at least software-wise. This can be a cause; also, updating your recovery to 2.5 can help. I would search through the threads for the 975 and look for recovery updates, and then try again, but with a 975 CM ROM.
LS970 is sprint cdma, where the E975 is intl gsm. Both have the same general hardware, but they difference in radio and E975 has fm radio.

[Baseband] Flashable .zip APQ8064T/MDM9X15M

Just in case anyone is interested, I pulled the APQ8064T/MDM9X15M modem via adb and put it into a flashable .zip
I have never seen this modem anywhere, so I thought I'd share it for those who might want it. If you are on AT&T, you don't probably need or want to flash it, but other networks in other parts of the world, including parts of North America (Mexico) and all of Central America, etc. do use it.
It's direclty from the Panama Stock 980h ROM.

I don't think so. I think what's much more likely is that the modem flashing ability on this device via CWM is non-functional, and anyone who thinks they've flashed a different modem that way actually hasn't successfully done so.
I have been wrestling with the RILJ issue related to my network, and as I understand it, in CM/AOSP, the modem string is just a placeholder. It's not a reflection of the actual modem, but in Stock ROMs, I don't think that's the case, because when I was on Stock AT&T, my modem behaved differently than when on Stock Panama.
The modem.img in your zip is larger then the one in my AT$t V10G zip also...
Niw im back on stock AT$T and this is my modem#

hmmm.....my F240K shows exactly the same baseband on stock i.e. APQ8064T/MDM9X15M....wonder if they are the same...
also if CWM is not flashing modem properly...how can you be sure that you have flashed it?
in CM/AOSP ROMs if modem string is placeholder is that because these ROMs don't flash a modem?
I noticed that the panama modem says AP08064T and the stock AT$T modem AP08064.
The "T" is he only difference in the displayed name. So I can see how it might be confusing lol.....

My suggestion would be to flash the hacked TWRP recovery by MadMack, it can be found in the CM10.2 Unofficial thread. I have used this recovery from day one and have had no problems whatsoever.
Link to Hacked TWRP by MadMack -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2250186&d=1378908893
It is my understanding, that this recovery is for CM or AOSP based ROM's. I think you must use the CWM or TWRP that are included in FreeGee to flash the Stock ROM variants.
I installed the hacked TWRP and my modem still doesn't change when I flash a different modem.

I have 240L and I really hated the call to korea and other korean network apps on my phone. I wanted to flash some basic stock rom like panama or telcell. but whenever i flashed stock i didn't get my modem to work so I used cwm to flash modem. I have used LOKI recovery and one another apk which is available for download on xda.
In panama and telcell i do get the signal but whenever I tried to make a call my phone restarts. I tried plenty of time then I got tired and flashed a custom rom from Lamhoang ... its working fine but I dont' like the HKFriend kernel its slow!
I still wish if I could get the stock original rom to work with some flashable modem....
one more thing I have 32 gb phone with SD card and in some stock roms i get the 32gb rom but i never got my sd card working.
Thank you this modem save my life.

Same modem here in Italy. But with this modem i have problems with CM 10.2: no deep sleep and some other issues... I tried to flash many other modems, but in all cases my phone don't boot or don't have network.
Will this work for my e980? Cuz my mms doesn't work

That question remains unanswered, but the best evidence suggests that the modem is not flashed via recovery in either CWM or TWRP.
I have a chance to pick up another E980 tomorrow in the afternoon for a pretty good price in my area, and if all goes well, I'll be back to the LG OG Pro.

Modem issues l900

I was wondering if anyone had any current Modem Drivers for 4.4 ? Every single 4.4 ROM I flash I get no service, no network connectivity I tried the latest modem drivers from here
http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy Note II (SPH-L900)/
Nothing seems to work. Any ideas ?
If you flashed the modem and still have no data service you need to re provision your phone. Try dialing ##72786# and see if that will do it. Afterwards go into settings and select the activate phone option down at the bottom. If non of that works you'll have to Odin a stock room and start over. That will definitely get you working again.
None of that works...I don't even get a signal for voice service...the phone has no connectivity whatsoever.
This all started after flashing to stock and starting over, I was having issues with 4g but now nothing...I managed to get a 4.2.2 carbon ROM working but that's it. No 4.4 ROM shows any signal at all.. Before flashing to stock I at least got 3g

You're using the recovery that every single 4.4 ROM tells you NOT to use in the OP. Use CWM or PhilZ and you shall be happy. TWRP has yielded broken radios in flashing 4.4 builds for 3 months now. Very well known issue.
Ohh damn I love twrp... OK I will certinally GI e that a shot.. Thanks

Sorta-bricked OG

Help! My phone got soft bricked the other day and I flashed a .kdz different to the actual stock rom. The phone worked fine. I rooted, unlocked the boot loader and flashed a custom recovery then I flashed the liquidsmooth 4.3.1 rom and there was no wifi or mobile network. I also lost the CWM backup I made of the non-stock .kdz. Please help I have to use an awful iPhone 3GS...
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wi-Fi and network problems are not a reason to say your phone is bricked.
First try something to see if it fixes.
The network "problem" should be resolved if you choose the mobile network manual.
About Wifi that as to do with modules but it should work when you install a fresh rom.
Try to use other recovery(twrp) because cwm is having some trouble.
