Alternatively, if you have rooted your phone, you can install a root file manager like 'ROOT EXPLORER' and go to the /system and delete those apps...
This also helps in clearing /system space

@raystriker
He may get FCs by deleting just app and not cache, data
Better disable or remove them using Titanium Backup

Need stock galary app
Dear,
After ROOTING my Galaxy S-DUOS, I started using different rooted apps.
But, as I used quick pic, I mistakenly uninstalled the system gallery app.
Now, I'm being unable to set my wallpaper without cropping, as well as change my lock screen wallpaper.
I have installed the system gallery again, but still the problem is not resolved.
Can any one please help me out...???

ROM Help

First android phone and need help installing the CM10 ROM.
I downloaded the rom and extracted the zip to my internal sd card and when I apply the zip I just get installation aborted and get an android with a red triangle am I forgetting something?
I'm using CWM-based Recovery v5.5.0.4
which version of the s3 do you have? If you have the SGH-i747 you have the wrong version of CWM, download rom manager and update to the AT&T S3, should be 5.8.4.7
Do not extract the zip, put the zip on your sd card and flash it via CWM.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I have sgh_i747m on the carrier of bell in Canada in moved the zip to my ad and never opened it
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III using Tapatalk 2
also Rom manager doesn't have s3 yet the closest I see to my phone is the Samsung s2
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III using Tapatalk 2
I'm with bell as well. When you are in Rom Manager, did you press Flash CWM Recovery? For mine when i press it, it gives me a list of a bunch of phone models and near the bottom should be Samsung Galaxy S3 (AT&T) That's how I got the proper CWM

lol... the first one will do fine, the second one is touch recovery, so pick which one you want to use... flash it in recovery like a ROM... after that your recovery will be changed... reboot the phone once, or just reboot recovery, try the CM10 flash again, and if it fails again, you got a bad download, go get the rom again...

You just need to flash gapps which you can get from the CM10 or AOKP forums. Flash it the same way you flashed the rom.

One more thing how do I get my "my files" back so I can browse my extSdCard as all the app market apps only show my internal one?
i suggest using Root Explorer since you get access to everything on your phone. If you don't want to pay for it, 4shared an app called BlackMartAlpha apk then download the app from there. You get most of the paid apps from there, at least I do anyways

So I tried moving it and I keep getting an error saying it failed. I would post the message but it appears and disappears pretty quick. I am using ES file explorer.
EDIT : was able to take a quick screen shot it says...
com.strongs.fs.filesystemexception:/system/app/sunbream.apk: openfailed :EROFS (Read-Only file system)
It should look like this, and be in the shown folder.

You have to deodex your rom. It will not work in odexed rom. Search out a thread for stock deodexed rom or use some custom rom as it is already deodexed and have superuser mod. I am using existenz ultra v2.0.5 and it installed as a normal apk and runs without any force close
