Much appreciated.
I downloaded the apk and tried installing it but it says App Not Installed. I tried it both on my nexus 7 and htc sensation running cyanogen mod 10.1.
Any suggestions?

I don't normally use ADB since I am not very familiar with it. I guess I'll do some searching to give it a shot or just wait for an installable APK.
Thanks

You don't need adb, you could do it with the app root explorer or other file browsers.

So I tried moving it and I keep getting an error saying it failed. I would post the message but it appears and disappears pretty quick. I am using ES file explorer.
EDIT : was able to take a quick screen shot it says...
com.strongs.fs.filesystemexception:/system/app/sunbream.apk: openfailed :EROFS (Read-Only file system)
It should look like this, and be in the shown folder.

copied the file using root explorer, set the permissions, rebooted but I'm not seeing it in the list of LWPs, what am I doing wrong?

Diggin this, thanks. Looks very nice on the GN screen.
If anyone doesn't want to flash this thru CWM just pull the bootanimation.zip out of the CWM zip and copy/paste it with root explorer into your \system\media and its good to go. (4.0.3) I re-named my stock boot bootanimation.zipBAK so it was there in case of a problem.

If you use terminal, you problably have root acces.
Search market, or google, because I cant post it here.
Search ROOT EXPLORER, install it, give it root acces, and copy the file to /system/app then install it and reboot.

First android phone and need help installing the CM10 ROM.
I downloaded the rom and extracted the zip to my internal sd card and when I apply the zip I just get installation aborted and get an android with a red triangle am I forgetting something?
I'm using CWM-based Recovery v5.5.0.4
which version of the s3 do you have? If you have the SGH-i747 you have the wrong version of CWM, download rom manager and update to the AT&T S3, should be 5.8.4.7
Do not extract the zip, put the zip on your sd card and flash it via CWM.

I'm with bell as well. When you are in Rom Manager, did you press Flash CWM Recovery? For mine when i press it, it gives me a list of a bunch of phone models and near the bottom should be Samsung Galaxy S3 (AT&T) That's how I got the proper CWM

lol... the first one will do fine, the second one is touch recovery, so pick which one you want to use... flash it in recovery like a ROM... after that your recovery will be changed... reboot the phone once, or just reboot recovery, try the CM10 flash again, and if it fails again, you got a bad download, go get the rom again...

You just need to flash gapps which you can get from the CM10 or AOKP forums. Flash it the same way you flashed the rom.

i suggest using Root Explorer since you get access to everything on your phone. If you don't want to pay for it, 4shared an app called BlackMartAlpha apk then download the app from there. You get most of the paid apps from there, at least I do anyways

Did you rename the app? Sometimes in the copy and paste for some explorers it keeps both apps but one has a COPY statement before .apk. rename exactly as its seen in the browser for the default and replace. Reboot...good to go. What rom are you using?

No way. You will have to wait and see if the devs over at xposed or tweaksbox can response to you.

Knock code doesn't have it.
Looks to me like all you got to do is copy lgkeyguard.apk to your PC and erase lockscreen_icon_forgot.png put it back in the apk and copy back to the phone. Oh and don't forget to change the permissions.

Looks to me like all you got to do is copy lgkeyguard.apk to your PC and erase lockscreen_icon_forgot.png put it back in the apk and copy back to the phone. Oh and don't forget to change the permissions.
Oh ya and its in drawable-xxxhdpi

P.S.
Couple the no lock icon thing with the Blank Widget available from the play store would be really cool. Then we can show off a cool wallpaper with nothing in the way. Nice.
