I wanna switch from Maxthon to Dolphin. Is there another way to import bookmarks from Maxthon to Dolphin? In the options, it only gave me the option to import from stock browser.
Nvm, just exported the html file for Maxthon then imported to Chrome and used Dolphin Connect to sync to Dolphin.

Is there a way of syncing Opera bookmarks with my Opera account? This used to be possible with OperaMobile, but the version of Opera on the TP2 is different, and doesn't seem to have a bookmark sync option.
i know the browser is synced with my google chrome browser
i'm wondering if i delete some bookmarks that are synced on my phone would they delete on google chrome as well??
it's just that on my phone there are only certain sites i go on my phone compared to my desktop
Can pls some1 explain why Chrome has three default bookmarks folders that cannot be deleted? There's mobile bookmarks, desktop bookmarks and others bookmarks.
I have all my bookmarks in stock ics browser and they are in sync wth google.
When I sync the bookmarks in Chrome the ones from the stock browser end up in the desktop bookmarks, which is annoying... I would like to have, like in the stock browser, only one set of bookmarks, i don't care if they are desktop, mobile or others...
Thanks
Is there a way to import a bookmarks html file into Chrome? I've been using Xscope on my other devices for a while and have an exported bookmark file. Xscope sucks on JB. I'd give Chrome a shot if it imports bookmarks... otherwise onto AOSP or Dolphin or Boat.

Chrome syncs your bookmarks with your google/gmail account. you could move the html file to your desktop and import them into Chrome on Windows or Mac and then it SHOULD sync to your account thus showing up on your phone/tablet
I don't use Chrome, but I do have it on my pc. I had imported all my FF bookmarks to it and don't want that many. I'll decided whether to delete them all and reimport the html file... I was just hoping there was an easy way on the N7.
I tried file:\\\mnt\sdcard\bookmarks.html and Chrome opens that file. But when I save that link as a bookmark, it won't open it from the bookmark (this works in Xscope and Boat). I may just do home screen shortcuts...
Make sure you sign in with your Google / Gmail to Chrome on your computer. Chrome will then automatically upload your bookmarks to the cloud.
They should then be available on your N7 under bookmarks / desktop bookmarks.

So this is a very quick and easy way to use your chrome bookmarks you've carefully collected on your computer but now your chrome browser ducks and is laggy. I have been looking for a way around most browsers not sure syncing chrome bookmarks for a while and I stumbled on this just today. So turns out if you have a second browser, for me it's dolfin mmm so smooth, and you place the Google Chrome bookmark widget on one of your pages, click one of your bookmarks, then it actually asks you which app you want to open this with and you can then of course default it to your browser of choice and just like that you can have a all your bookmarks at the ready for any browser
Another option is to export Chrome Bookmarks as HTML file (from your PC), put it on your SD card, and access it with: file:///storage/sdcard0/xxxxbm.html (or whatever path). Then create a screen link to that bookmark. Click the link and browser opens to your bookmarks. The HTML file is also easily edited in your explorers html viewer (or on a PC). "Most" browsers support the file:/// access (except Chrome).
