Hi experts,
the A100 have by default "5 Screens" you can put your applications or widgets on
My question is if there is a way to reduce the number to 1 or 2 ?
Thanks,

Depends on the launcher in use if that can be done or not.

Not sure about the default launcher, it's been a long time since I've used it but I know you can with other launchers like Nova plus you get many other options. Just install it and let it export everything from your default launcher. You can then change the number of screens in the settings or by pressing the home button from the center home screen.

Hi All,
I have installed the " Minimalistic Text " app which added 13 widgets to the widgets page.. Actually I am using only one of these widgets.
Is there a way to remove all the widgets of this app except the one I am using ?
or maybe a way to put all of them in one folder ?
Thanks in advance,
To remove them long press and drag them to the "remove" bin that appears at the top of the screen.
I don't think you can put widgets in folders, though I've not tried; you could try long press and drag one on top of another to see what happens...

Go into Minimalistic Text setting > Global settings > Widget sizes and untick the ones you don't want to be shown.
To hide the widgets totally in your app draw you will need to install a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex.

Thank you !
I like Sense but there are some crucial limitations that bother me, like not being able to resize the apps or being able to define the number of rows and columns. I´ve installed Go Launcher but I´ve realized it doesn´t use the entire screen because it wasn´t probably designed for such large screens...or for such a large resolution. Either way, I was wondering if there are any launchers out there that can address this.
Try Nova Launcher. Lots of options esp if you use the Prime (paid) version.

Apex Pro launcher is pretty awesome - though there is resizing of widgets on this launcher, i havent found a way to scale the ordinary icons as i could on GoLauncher
what about editing dpi to 192 ?? that gives you a good screen
I´ve just installed Nova Launcher and so far it works great. The only thing I don´t like is the fact that you need to have an icon on the homscreen to access it´s settings instead of a settings launcher on the menu like Go Launcher.

You can access Nova Launcher settings via the app launcher menu. Not necessary for a home screen icon.

I'm using Apex Launcher, which is very similiar to Nova.
You can double tap on screen to access Apex settings.
This could be some for our chefs... http://betadan.com/paranoid/
Density can be changed differently for each app, and it also runs in tablet mode.
Forgot....I'm running it on my old HD2

Doesn't work on our one x
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Been using LauncherPro Plus on DHD and think it is the best launcher for Android 2.X. However, it has not been updated for over 1 year. Still can work with ICS but got issue.
Tried both Apex and Nova for my One X, sounds good but Nova doesn't support overlap widget which limited desktop setting. Apex support overlap widget but didn't got the function to assign long press recent app button to launch the launchkey app (very useful setting for using LeeDroid Rom, Home button was assigned to recent app function, recent app button was assigned to meun and long pess it will launch the launchkey app which bring up quick access to some mostly used shortcut).
Really miss LaunchPro Plus which got all those above function!!!!
Does anyone know how to add more home screens? I have my M8 converted to full GPe and I don't see an option to add more home screens. I checked in settings/display and no option is there.
If memory serves me correctly, try taking an app from the drawer, hold it, and then when it goes to the homescreen, hold it to the left or right edge of the screen as if there were another page there. I think it automatically creates one if you have an app that your holding.

Settings/Personalize/Manage Home Screen Pages
Then just move to your right most page, and click the "+ Panel" on the partial screen to the right of that one.

With Google Play Edittion you can have many home screens.
With Sense you can only have max 6 (including blinkfeed). Is there any way to increase to say 9 home screens. Do any custom roms have this option?

If you want that many home screens you could always use a custom launcher like Nova. And although you can't have Blinkfeed as one of the screens there is a pretty easy workaround to make it accessible from any of the home screens.
Either add a shortcut (Activity) on a screen to the HTC Launcher after deleting all but the Blinkfeed page, or even more convenient, set the Activity as a gesture launch action.
Nover is my default launcher. When I switch all of my icones are spread over 4 windows in a random order .

In tstock touchwiz it looks like this.

I just want to set up the stock launcher
and keep that way after I go there from nova.

If I understand you, you want fewer apps on your home screen with more space between them. Stock has 4 in each row, and looks like your Nova has 5.
You can change this in the Nova settings.
Hold your recent apps button down (lower left of the phone), you should get a menu with Wallpaper, Manage Apps, Nova Settings, System settings.
hit Nova settings, then hit the first item on the next screen "Desktop Grid"
you can change the number of rows and columns so there is more space (with fewer icons), or more icons (and less space) on your home screens. Play around with the numbers and I'm sure you'll find a setting you like.
OK Thinks
Are you able to set a home screen in the OP launcher? For example I like for my 2nd of my 3 screens to be my home screen.
Every other launcher I've used allow this but I can't figure it out with the OP launcher.
Is it possible?
1. Hard press on the screen
2. You'll see all your screens.
3. Press on the screen you want.
4. Select and drag to the position of the home screen.

I think he wants his homescreen to be the middle of his 3 screens so that there is another screen to the left and right of his homescreen. I've looked around it it doesn't appear to allow you to do this. Perhaps it's because it needs space for the Shelf.
