I've just installed CM7 RC1.5. It's a hell of a step up from the Telstra Froyo.
Just one question - how does one set the option to allow vibrate on notification? I would like to have Gmail and regular mail vibrate with no tone, but it seems I can only have the opposite.
Edit: solved. Those settings are hidden in the individual apps.
I flashed the rom successfully and so far it runs smoothly.
Just one problem, my phone won't vibrate!!
Settings / Sound / Vibrate / is already set to "ALWAYS".
Even the games suppose to vibrate now became nothing...
Exactly like the vibrator is gone...
Any clue?
Hey friends,
Here's my problem: when I set silent mode on my Note 2 everything is ok - no sound, no vibration. But there's one exception. When I'm inside the FB Messenger app the phone still vibrates when I receive new message. That's annoying. When the app is in the background there's no problem - I get a notification without sound/vibration. Any ideas?
Bumping because I have the exact same problem. Running Omega and Perseus - a stock/touchwiz based rom. Any solutions
I also get this with Red Pill...
I have similar problem.
Hello,
i am using CM10.1 (01/19) whitch runs with android 4.2.1.
On any notification, from K9 mail or Trillian p.ex., the phone vibrates. But the vibration is deactivated in these apps.
The profile is in vibrate mode...
As I read in another forum, this is a feature and not a bug of jellybean. But this is very annoying if its vibrating on every new mail.
Is there a possibility to bypass these vibrating notifications?
